Add to the fact that this new condition, as we currently understand it, has ZERO PvE impact (mobs aren’t known for moving much) makes this a PvP ability.

Yeah, I hope we’re all missing something because this doesn’t smell well.

The whole point of their combat system was about dynamic mobility and positioning…and now they create a condition to counter that.

So they based their combat on positioning, evasion, dodging, etc….and now creating a condition that penalizes that?

Maybe not the devs but definitely the QA team so they can report what the end users of their product are experiencing.

He may not get immediately banned because ANet is monitoring his activity and client to datamine how to better detect and counter the hack code.

Sometimes you have to put up with a cheater for a bit for them to develop a solid counter action.

What he is doing isn’t destroying the economy, making him 100’s of gold or single handedly winning the weekly match. The impact is very annoying but nothing where they have to slap him down when it would be better served to observe and create a solid plan of action.

First they need to give us the ability to mute horn sounds…then they can work on this function for you.

Please provide a method to block/mute Horn/Bells/whatever next brilliant musical instrument is planned.

They can be cool but they can also be SUPER annoying and used for grief. Please give us the ability to mute them without having to turn off the rest of the sounds in the game.

Quick 2 cents-
CPU is the single most important factor in WvW, well above video card – don’t skimp on that part.

An SSD is attractive but won’t give you more than better loading times when you waypoint/zone.

Horrible idea.

Map rotation is kinda in so just stick it out to get that POI. And badges come just will running with the zerg and specing for AOEs for tagging.

It won’t take long at all, just relax and realize that it will happen.

Xsorus – do you have any videos of your power/clerics build? I’m very interested in checking those out.

I know I’ve gotten BLChests off of peeps, would be nice if they injected the new RNG Box into all loot tables.

WTH – they get stickied but we don’t? That’s a hoot.

I’ve been getting a few in the WvW borderland maps, just saying if you happen to PvP don’t forget there are harvestables out there….

Drag them into the water and hope they go for you there…beyond that you have to disengage or you will just give them loot…

If you like a game play it, if you don’t find one you do and play it.

Can’t wait for a new matchup, the qq factor is so old.

SoR is the strongest server in NA. When you’re not fighting the second and third strongest servers, what do you think will actually happen? Hint: qq.

What I’m hoping for (and yeah, I’m resigned to the fact that I’ll be disapointed) is that if we are fighting two new servers this week that the meta will shift from zerg to multiple smaller groups to keep things more fair. I don’t want everything to be a steamroll, yeah it’s fun to win, it’s more fun to have a challenging win or even a “by the skin of your teeth” loss.

The top 3 servers can field massive amounts of troops and in cases have too to have a chance to succeed. If we aren’t fighting a stacked server maybe we can downgrade the zergs, give some full time WvW peeps a break and shift the meta.

That’s my hope at least….

We are on track to win again this week, that much is solid. Expect to see more of this kinda stuff, enjoy the fights, don’t take them too seriously and have fun in the game.

And in a few hours we’ll retake all the territory plus some and it’ll be like it never happened…except for it’ll be another win for SoR.

It is actually quite funny with people complaining about no-one wanting to do the dungeon.
Based on the number of such comment on this forums alone there would be enough people for over 10 groups.

I don’t think it’s a lack of people but it’s some people don’t have the ability to devote 2 hours straight to do a dungeon and THEN do the story part. I have a young child, I am unable to devote that much time in one sitting and I will not ask people to put their game time on hold waiting on me if I have to suddenly Away From Keyboard which happens often.

At least with the other story missions you could akitten or worse case just restart without wasting anyone elses time.

Pretty much resolved myself to not doing the last mission on any of my characters – if it happens it happens but I am very disapointed that ANet did the bait and switch on this.

Edit – really, AwayFromKeyboard gets replaced with kitten? Wow.

No luck with these options on my iPhone…can’t find the desktop option.

I played for several months on Blackgate server and now I’ve spent a little over two weeks on SoR and I have to say that I think there are some pronounced differences between the way each server operates on multiple levels so it’s turned out to be more than just forum rhetoric.

The main question is which server do you prefer? If you are happy then let me say Welcome!

These are also nice for Rangers since you use pretty much every stat.

I think they have more use if you are in a dynamic environment (WvWvW) where you may not being playing the same “specialist” role every time so you get added flexibility with little cost.

But speed running COF, yeah, most will demand ask that you be a specialist.

Yeah, this happens to me when I park an alt at Teq to just swap to them when it is up.
You need to have the toon do something else for the DR to fall off once it starts happening.

Transmute the rune onto a cheap piece of armor, then salvage.

It burns up a fine transmutation stone.. but at least you get your runes back.

Unfortunately I’ve tried this and other methods, it does not work.
Save your trans stones.
