I’ve been using Greatsword, Sword/Pistol lately and it’s working fairly well. I start with the GS and then switch to melee with Sword/Pistol. I still hate PvE as a mesmer though..

This goes for everything, though. Dynamic Events should also reward you for everything you do, from heals and boons to rezzing. I imagine this is something they’re working on, it’s not quite as simple as most people think, especially for WvW.

It should also be noted it’s not only gem store items as many believe. There are also many boosters not available in the gem store, as well as the transphormation tonics.

This would not work as smoothly as you think. Undercutting is part of any market, live with it. Prices will balance out eventually and undercutting will not throw prices up and down quite as much. There are ways to combat undercutting and not get hurt by it, or even benefit from it.

I’d be fine with 20 man groups as long as everyone in it is in the same guild and representing it at the time. Otherwise, I don’t want to see a bunch of newbies running around leading groups. Needing to pay a lot of gold assured that they are somewhat dedicated and aren’t complete newbies to wvw.

Unless there is no queue all servers have the same amount of people in each wvw map. Its that they were more organized and you did not have enough people defending, which is your own fault. Don’t build something you dont have the numbers to defend. Of course numbers matter, its open war, you don’t get fair numbers. If you are outnumbered, outplay them. I watched my server work together to outplay and fend off a 2v1 attack forsveral hours on red briar just by working together better and being better players, and this was with about half the numbers.

I don’t see anything wrong with it. However, I think rallying should be removed while in sPvP. You should only get back up by healing yourself or an ally healing you, not someone killing a guy you happened to hit in the fight and getting right back up for it.

We are kinda screwed right now. But, I don’t know about the other two servers, but Blackgate’s situation will start looking good again real soon. ^.-

And still, after all of the people who keep trying to defend Mesmer in PvE and saying people are just doing it wrong, we’re still stuck with a build that is decent enough in AoE to do DEs and groups of mobs, or a relatively slow single target build that still doesn’t compare with most, if not all, other classes.

I think the one that needs fixed is the spear. The trident is great in my experience, but the spear sucks in both PvE and sPvP. :<
