Have to admit that taking an 8-ish month hiatus (due to RL issues) and finding all the “Town Cloths” (to include toys etc) gone on my return was not fun.
I have the standard “ask us for a refund for the items you bought and we deleted” ticket in, but not holding my breath.
I liked GW2 enough to buy crystals with $ to get in-game eye-candy, only to find it gone? I’m holding out my final verdict on how it plays out, but if they screw me over then they will never see another cent from me.

In general though, I play because I find it fun, though “fun” is subjective to things such as noted above (as well as tons of other things).

They didn’t delete them…there was a feature pack back in April that introduced the wardrobe system, so they removed the old versions of the town clothes you bought for the new ones you can wear in combat, go talk to the Black Lion Armor Trader and they’ll give you the new ones.

They need to bring back year 1’s event. Last year was such a disappointment. No scavenger hunt, ruined clocktower experience, the boss fight was a joke, and the year 1 weapons were replaced with mediocre crap that was hiding behind black lion weapon scraps.

The fight against the Mad King was actually interesting and quite challenging (at the time) so why replace him with his whiny little son that had more bark than bite?

The scavenger hunt gave us a little more to do while we waited for the big showdown, and even gave us a nice backpiece as a reward, but if you for whatever reason decided to drop it, you’re screwed because we didn’t have the wardrobe system in place.

Why not bring back some of the year 1 skins like the ones we could only get as a drop? Lots of people weren’t blessed by RNGesus and didn’t get anything from the Mad King boss fight (all I got was a crappy 10 slot trick-or-treat bag that no longer exists now.) I would love another shot at getting the Greatsaw, and would prefer not spending almost 1500g for the skin.

Oh, and they removed Reaper’s Rumble for whatever reason. Bring that back too, because that was a lot of fun as well.

It isn’t a guild raid, but that doesn’t mean you can’t form a guild to do it with. It’s definitely a hell of a lot easier to have an organized guild to do it with rather than doing it with a bunch of randoms, afkers, and trolls that don’t even make it to 75%. but again, it’s not a guild raid and you can do it with a map full of, well just about anyone that’s actually serious about taking him down. Just get organized, flailing around spamming 1 key isn’t going to beat this thing.

The reason the good drops are rare is because once people start getting the hang of it, people will be downing teq as if he wasn’t buffed at all.

If you take a look at this screenshot I took, this was the latest run I did with my guild, he’s got pretty much no hp left and we still have 6 minutes left on the clock, this has been happening on a daily basis for the past 5-6 days. If we had a really high chance of good drops, we could potentially have a gold farm going on.

I’d like an invite. Sick of being in fights with randoms that have no clue what they’re doing. >.<

So I finally finished World 1 Zone 3 in tribulation mode, and I was waiting by the chest after I collected my loot, and I noticed I never got the achievement for completing it.

As you can see in the screenshot, I have all 3 of the trophies from zones 1-3, but Tier 3 of the achievement was never completed. It really annoys me for having to go through that hell hole only to get half of what I went there for. Is it possible that ArenaNet can grant me the achievement? I really don’t want to go back through zone 3 again, especially if it decides to not reward me the achievement a second time.
