If it was just simple swapping due to night capping then the score would be much closer correct? It is more than just swapping, it shows that we were able to hold SoS off earlier in the week during their primetime.

If you refer to last the past few nights, I am sure it is because hardly anyone is queueing for WvW on TC due to the insurmountable lead we have.

Keep your logic out of this subject, please! SoS dominates between the hours of 8:00 am – 12:00pm est. That’s four hours of PURE DOMINANCE. If only they had a bit stronger primetime presence, they could show Titan Alliance what real pvp is all about.

Out of all the servers that we’ve faced, the only one I haven’t heard some kind of pathetic whining and excuse making out of was Maguuma. Seriously, you got crushed in WvW. It happens. Get over it.

With 24/7 coverage, anyone would have the potential to reach top 6.

Dragonbrand is a powerhouse, and you’re being melodramatic. Also, Blackgate is no slouch, and you’re insulting some really amazing people with your post. That being said, yes, the transfer-at-will garbage needs to end.

You’re not doing anything wrong. Loot bags and badges drop at random. Please don’t be one of these people that rushes to F-bomb a downed opponent because they think it will increase the chances of a badge drop, it doesn’t. I usually get the most badges from large zerg fights where seven or eight people that I’ve “touched” happen to drop at the same time. Play WvW for the joy and don’t stress the badges too much, you’ll drive yourself crazy. The system they’ve implemented for earning WvW rewards is horrible, but all we can do is lodge our complaints in some kind of constructive manner until they decide to do something about it.

Presently, Defiance is camping the road outside of Cliffside in GoM bl trying to gank stragglers while SoS sits at +70. Funny stuff.

Back to this thread. So people are mad that they are leaving? But these same people claim they weren’t good . Why are you upset or care enough to post on the forums if that is true? They are voluntarily moving to a server that has less of a population during their playing time than the one they are currently on. They are the wussies? I don’t get it.

SoS seems like it could be a very strong server if more NA players joined. So ironic because everyone is complaining about nightcapping. This server has the opposite. It gets primetime capped

They transferred mid-day to a server we are in direct competition with. Before their transfer, they were camping GoM bl and refusing to fight, basically so they could then transfer and take any gains GoM made back for SoS. They’ve also had spies in WvW reporting TC movements to SoS after the transfer. We aren’t upset that they have left. We’re outraged at their total lack of integrity, at the way they blatantly exploited game mechanics, at the disgusting two-faced bs they’ve been spewing (because while Cayden is all sweet and non-confrontational here, in TC /team chat he’s arrogant and beligerent.)

And yes, we’re just a bit frustrated that you’re accepting this pariah into your world “with open arms.” It’s your loss, our gain. Consider yourselves warned.

Please stop trying to “fix” player error by altering game mechanics.

At any rate, I’m rather feeling that any good will between us and SoS is coming to its end. Not that I claim to speak for TC or anything. I have been playing world vs world on Sea of Sorrows since day 1 and don’t even think I ever saw any TSG around. This is one of our biggest guilds lol? I doubt that. I am a NA player though but I play late nights a lot.

Usually big guilds on our server are very well known and have commanders and such who actually give out orders like MERC and SoSu.

I didn’t say biggest, I said best. And they transferred over long before this noise started.

I just logged in… it’s NA prime time… and with Defiances obvious immediate impact they should have as a large NA guild going to SoS… SoS now owns:

Hehe difference is, you dropped 130 points to Gate of Madness because your whole zerg is focused on us out of anger. So the actual point difference from this time of day is 150. Which should be noted if was the case all week, added up would make SoS the winner.

If you weren’t so busy raging in Divinity’s Reach, you’d know that a lot of us layed off and decided to do jump puzzle and crap until SoS wakes up. Because riding 650+ is boring as hell. Good job accomplishing nothing and making like you have some kind of impact though, it’s been the same story with you since your guild moved to TC. You have no idea what a relief it is to know that I won’t have to see you making like you’re somebody important in /team while the rest of us are actually playing to win anymore. Over the past four weeks, Defiance has left Darkhaven for HoD, moved back to Darkhaven, left Darkhaven again for Tarnished Coast, and is now leaving TC for SoS. Don’t make that welcome too warm, they’ll be jumping ship soon enough.

I’m sorry to say it, Cayden, but as far as I’ve seen your guild creates chaos in /team and on the actual field more often than it contributes anything of value. You also seem to think that this forum is a place to spammishly advertise your guild and what I’ve come to call your “scheme of the day.” Good riddance to server hoppers, at any rate.

By the way, I’m hearing that there are plenty of SoS Oceanic who have already moved or are in the process of moving to TC. Swimming against the flow is kind of, bad planning.

I don’t even know how to speak to this thread. I didn’t know that there was such a thing as a pvper opposed to competition. You learn something new every day.

It’s funny, just today I was thinking that siege equipment needs a significant increase in price now that people have stashed away some coin.

WvW obviously isn’t for you. Please avoid kittening in /team and move along.

Clusterbomb is absolutely devastating in siege combat. I spec for crit and +crit damage. One properly detonated cluster bomb does damage that no other aoe effect seems to come close to, plus it’s fire and forget, which honestly is a luxury. Whether I’m defending or attacking, it really does tear the opponent up. Learning proper placement, and maximizing the number of clusterbombs you can fire off in rapid succession takes quite a bit of practice. But once you get a feel for it, you can really tear people up, especially if you have the high ground.

I’ll agree 900 range is a pain. On the other hand, I can’t imagine having 1200 range on my shortbow. It would basically equate to murdering entire groups of players with little fear of ever being touched at all. That 300 range deficit gives your opponent some kind of a fighting chance.

You’re doing it wrong. My shortbow messes people up horribly, two, three, even four of them at a time. Unless you get the jump on me, I’m basically untouchable. Haste allows me to either:

a) finish you and your two closest friends off with short bow
b) take even a tanky character to near 0 hp in a matter of seconds with pistol whip.

We have so much utility it’s not even funny, combined with absolutely sick dps. You need to know to keep moving, when to stealth, when to shadow step, when to blink away, when to aoe and when to switch weapons and jump in for a quick finisher. There are a lot of videos out there that show how this is done. Maybe you just need some more practice?

Not even pretending that GoM takes a majority in points at any time. But we do take plenty of keeps and towers for the duration of our very specific and short windowed prime time. . Although they are quickly lost to SoS and TC players PvEing Red keep doors when nobody is defending. But yea pat yourselves on the back, you have an off hour ghost army which you have no affiliation with, that artificially inflates and maintains your “teams” points!

An off hour ghost army? Most of the pvpers on TC worth their salt rotate between day and night time play, or log on to contribute when they’re needed. It’s not a very large community, we all know each other, we all play together. What you call normal I’d call casual. We don’t have some faceless army of foreigners or whatever winning our battles for us, and the very suggestion is insulting. This isn’t exclusively an American east coast game, mmk? We have people from four different continents on TC, and we work hard to make up for our gaps in manpower. Sorry GoM can’t or won’t do so. Sour grapes.

I love this idea, Alodar. I’ve really enjoyed playing against SoS, and it does indeed seem that together, we’d have very strong round the clock coverage. Be still, my heart!
