This may go against my guilds forum policy, but this needs to be said, so i’ll pay that price. Please, stop posting. It’s getting embarassing.
You claim that blobbing is “how it works in this tier” when you couldn’t be further from the truth. The vast majority of the Piken guilds prefer to run solo, away from the blob mentality. Maybe its an EB thing, perhaps that is most Piken guilds don’t want anything to do with EB.

3x 20ish guild groups counters 1x 80 man blob with ease. Please don’t act like you need to blob to paint a borderland. The Piken guilds weren’t blobbing before, and they won’t blob now.

It baffles me why you care so much about Red Guard. Why does it bother you so much that they transferred servers? Why does it concern you what language a European guild speaks?

Piken used to have such a great community, and it still has some fantastic guilds, but it seems that the forum warrior playstyle of self confessed zergers is tarnishing that reputation.

This matchup is already far better than anything in the previous weeks, the loss of Riverside from the tier has brought out the guilds from both AR, and BB. It’s so refreshing to fight against guilds and smaller groups again.
Thank you to the guilds from AR and BB running alone or in smaller groups, you’re making this matchup a joy to be in so far, and I really hope Riverside slack off, so we can keep this tier how it is.

The attitudes of some of the Piken guys in here is so embarrassing.

Awesome night of fights in AR BL. Shoutout to AR guilds NR and OCB, along with Baruch guilds Nuke, VLK and DsD. kittening crazy fight for us in AR’s Garrison, 40 minutes of killing, 400-500 kills, finally killed by some great work by DsD and Nuke sandwhiching us on the bridge.

Here it is folks. As said above, such a fun night in ARBL last night, thanks to everyone on all servers who was there. I just wish kittening fraps hadn’t wrecked the first half of this fights footage.

With the new patch, and the removal of culling, its become painfully obvious what dominates this matchup

Yeah, because we had slightly more people than you guys, we were rotating on and off each fight. I don’t mean to brag, but the one we lost, was the one I wasn’t in. Just saying.

But yeah, I’m not a fan of GvG’s recorded from spectator PoV so I didn’t bother to record, and just assumed someone else would have. Sadly not.
I feel really bad about it, because I wanted to include all the fights, win or lose. It’s in no way intentional.

Maybe with the randoms we may have been 25. But we didn’t even have 25 online in guild, and certainly not in WvW.

At our highest tonight we had 18 people on. At those times, we were around 15 Scnd + any randoms that tagged along. We try not to use commander badge so we don’t attract these though

For someone who seems to claim to have Pikens interests at heart, you sure are the first one to whine about everything in the community

I’d like to personally thank the Kodash trebbers in SM that allowed [GG] (and some pugs <3) to take and then dump durios every point tick for over an hour without ever putting up siege.
I’d also like to take the time to thank the FS that took it back each time, and then left 5 minutes before point tick.

Eventually it seemed Kodash got pissed enough to send in its zerg, I guess after all that they deserve to take durios for once

Some great fights in EB tonight. That SM lord fight must have almost reached 3 hours, with all 3 servers constantly piling into the circle, and trying to outflank the other.

Kodash have taught us some valuable lessons in EB this week, and certainly made us change our playstyle a bit to react to it, hopefully we can draw on these learnings for the coming weeks.

Sadly last night I could only be on until around 2:30 GMT due to work, but what I saw in that short time in EB was pretty different than previous weeks resets.

I have a feeling that this week will hold some really nice fights for all 3 servers.

Enough is enough. Piken Square is now reporting every single player who abuses a bug or exploits in this WvW match.
What the HELL happened the last 2 days? AM have just randomly started abusing the bugs and limitations of the game to gain the upperhand.
Cullmarching 10 golems?
Portal Bombing?

These are limitations of the games (rather crappy) render engine.
Stop abusing them, we’ve had enough of it. What you are doing is cheating, and we’ve agreed to report every single player we find doing it (or as many as we can SEE, considering more than half of them don’t even load).

It looks to me like AM wants to get as much out of this kitteny engine before the fix later today, but its not fun for anyone.

I’d just like to clarify, that the opinions and the actions of one member, do not necessarily reflect those of the whole guild.

It’s a strong utility yes, but what part of it exactly is overpowered?

Portals are strong vs bad/unorganised servers. There are only a limited number of places a mesmer can hide in a tower, stick your face in those and you’re golden.

If it’s a fight in the open ground, move away from the shiny pink disc, and aoe it.

If your keep/tower/SM gets taken due to a mesmer portal, thats all on you
