I tried the valkyrie set and didn’t like the damage. Ive learned to use my defensive skills appropriately with my glass cannon build and, well, Im a monster. I use blink, mirror images, and decoy. My elite skill is either time warp or mass invis. Really learn to use your shatters especially distortion and diversion. This is for a GS/shatter build not sure what you are running. Also, dodge, dodge, dodge, melee loves it when they use there KD’s and we roll awy

cool thanks for your feedback, necros not that great for pve farming as well? Was hoping somebody would have some input on them and engineers. How theyre experience in pve had been so far..

Ive wanted to make a ranger except there just seems to be so many of them (warriors too) thanks for your input as well

I currently have a Mesmer lvl 80 and from experience, this class is just not very efficient for pve. I know I could get a pve build and it’d be better but lets face it, paying the gold for books and retraining is not worth it. So I will have my mesmer be my pvp monster and my __________ as my farmer. I’m thinking Elementalist for the AoE or Warrior, so please any suggestions would be great and helpfult thanks.

Gear up to make life easier but at the same time I wouldnt suggest wasting your moneys on low level gear because you are going to out level it pretty fast, well depending on how fast you are leveling. Also ppl have said and I noticed as well the staff is staple for leveling because of chaos armor and the warlock, I didnt start using the GS until I was better geared at 80. Also try the pistol for its instarupt and kite kite kite…switching weapons is very important I think due to the opening of additional skills. when i was leveling I would open with the staff aoe phase retreat and warlock and then switch to scepter/pistol and use the interupt cast duelist and finish with scepter 3 ability

I first bought Valkyrie masquerade for the +vitality because I do a lot of wvw so I wanted the survivability and for dungeons, and now I just bought the beserkers for the +precision because I wanted to blow ppl up with my greatsword build. You want more of the precision since you said you dont do a lot of condition damage. Also check out “superior rune of the scholar” thats what I went with and holy kittens I am puttin up some big numbers with my berserker

I use all the weapons depends on the situation but with my current build I have the greatsword as a staple with usually sword/focus behind it. The crafting I chose is jewls and tailor, so far jewler has been very easy and rewarding to level while tailoring on the other hand not so much as the scraps are scarce RNG kittene.

Just bought the berserker set and wanting to know if I should spend the 1g 25s x6 that is Rune of the Scholar for it, or should I save the money for an exotic set? I’m not making gold as fast as I would like so trying to make a smart decision…

Im going to be running a greatsword build so I can blow people up…

If you have any suggestions of something cheaper or if not rune of scholar then what pretty please, TIA
