I like 20/30/0/0/20 or 20/20/0/0/30 zerkin’ for roaming

The thing about metas, they are efficient and maximize their use.

What I wish I knew that I know now…for a while I didn’t know gs 3 was an evade, swapping weapons right at the end of a mobility skill animation will not stop your momentum (rush, leap, whirl….), managing adrenaline with healing surge, cleansing bolts when in groups, leap finishers, actually being in range of group members for them to get buffs like fgj, and not spamming dodge for no reason then can’t dodge what actually needs to be dodged…

20/0/30/20/0 if you aren’t comfortable with less defense (room for mistakes & learning) 20/25/0/10/15, 30/25/0/0/15, 20/30/0/0/20 if you don’t need the defense and want to be more offensive.

As the hours played go up so will your knowledge of specific mob cue’s and using stability & stun breakers.

Berserker gear with ruby orbs, exotic/ascended berserker trinkets, berserker Greatsword with superior sigil of Smothering, berserker axe with superior sigil of smothering and berserker mace with superior sigil of battle. Traits would be 20/25/0/0/25 or 20/25/0/10/15

Hi Thz, doubt you remember me but you were in the same guild as me for a while, then some guildies and you had a fallout….ring a bell? Anyways, hope you gettin some fat lootz out there. As to fractals, 30/40 runs can be very smooth and quick, especially with a static group of experienced players, however some pugs don’t sync well and can be very rough. Some of the strategies/tactics you are familiar with may be different now but for the most part nothing’s changed. Dredge is easy it just takes a long time, and Tom poison projectiles can no longer be absorbed by SotA or WoR, not a big deal though. I’m sure you’ll have no problem with new meta just say in chat that it’s been a while what’s the strategy for this fight now…and loot IMO was nerfed a long time ago since then it seems to be the same. It’s not bad loot just not op like it was. Good luck.

I farm pent/shelt for a couple hours a day, never gotten DR, get great loot, mats, bags, ab 4 rares a session, occasional exotic, and the event money.

None stat wise, get dungeon tokens, unless you mean for skins…go preview all the skins at the pvp locker

Pve wise, yes, damage is greater than anything else, cc is pointless, don’t need healing power if mobs are dead, don’t need toughness learn to dodge, get condition removal from group or kite until you can heal…wvw and sPvP though not so much, depends on the profession and player skill

Could be accident, the other day I joined a cof group that required ping, I wasn’t paying attention and linked in /m in LA..

I used to be completely against magic find, but I wanted to see first hand to have an actual opinion, so I got a magic find set for Pentient/Shelter farming. I don’t have statistics to back it up but I can really tell the difference from the quality of loot I get. I am still completely against MF in dungeons and use it only for cursed shore farming. Also, I run fractals, cof, and other dungeons, Coe charged drops are nice, and do some world events, mostly when I’m in between something, I don’t farm them like some do though.

Because range is too easy and I like to frontline in wvw

Just vendor them, I vendor all the ones I’ll never use, and if I ever need the ones I vendor then I’ve got 125 pristine to buy some…I’m sure you have plenty pristine as well..

0/0/10/30/30 or 0/10/0/30/30 soldier gear, some clerics, iirc ab 700-1000 healing power is good, it’s been a while since I’ve played my ele. Use sigil of battle and sigil of force

ok so I was curious what has changed so I looked around, and the guy that got me into ele was Bit. I dont know how much different spvp build would be bc he is mostly wvw but here is his updated build.

Each has it’s time for use, depends on the fight. You don’t wanna use glyph at maw bc it gunna insta die, you don’t wanna use sword in a max range fight. You can slot both of the ele glyphs and even better get the fire ele consumable and run around open world with 3 fire eles lol

Max range, might stacks, bloodlust stacks, 3k up to 4k hits, hell yea I use auto attack, it’s funny watching people’s health just melt as I slowly chase them down. I love it when they run, the further they get, the bigger the numbers go, the faster they die. I don’t even go to finish them, I’m too slow to run that far, afk pew pew while I look at the map.

Pros : great damage, survivability, versatility, utility, range builds, melee builds, and very fun.
Cons : slow leveling, swiftness/mobility

I see it getting a nerf, just like portal bombing, the casuals didnt know how to counter so they qq’ed until it got nerfed. Now they don’t understand that confusion doesn’t do anything if you don’t do anything. It’s not hard, bind stow weapon, when you get confusion stacks, press the key and disengage for a moment.

Never heard of axe/mace fractal build. Cof build is zerker everything w/ ruby orbs, 20/25/0/0/25, gs & axe/mace, battle & smothering sigil. I don’t have any links, going through the forums or searching google would do that. Start off getting a berserk set and slot with ruby orbs, then do accessories, keep w.e build you are using now while you adjust to the new gear, and when you’re ready trait for damage.

I agree, zerker gc is the way to go, once you are experienced. My first set with warrior was soldiers, it gave me room to make mistakes while I was mastering the profession, learning the traits and utilities. As I got better, I started swapping out pieces of soldiers for zerker stats, it’s was a smooth transition. Do keep your soldiers gear though, it’s great for Zerg busting in wvw and pushing the frontline.

Pro tip : stability – balanced stance.

IMO its terrible weapon, slow, weak damage, can’t cc a boss, 1 block or adrenaline not needed, bad traits…this is just my opinion though. Mace offhand is much better but not really useful in a lot of fights. Cof is only thing I use mace for.

I do some cof until I’m bored and will do pent/shelt til I’m bored…I make ab the same in an hour about 6g. Sometimes tho at pent/shelt there is too many people and sometimes theres not enough so that’s a factor

Go to the wiki and do a bit of reading, if you don’t feel that informed, go to google and do some searching.

20/0/30/20/0 until you feel comfortable training more damage, this build is solid and has great damage.
