The real disappoint is that is only a 1hr potion instead of a permanent thing and also not usable in dungeons/fractals, seriusly what is wrong with anet?
I just can’t understand why they hate their playerbase.
Yes, I don’t understand why they don’t make slots for the skins. In GW 1 you also had the halo and the horns but it was a hat that you could put as a skin, so there was no need to activate it and it didn’t disappear all the time.
In GW1 it was cool, in GW2 it’s simply useless, so I don’t even farm the items to get it.

I really like the new armor, and I could have bought one, but I wouldn’t apply it on my t3 and I don’t intend to get a second armor set which would cost money and take too much place in the inventory.
So I don’t buy it…

Except that the price of the t3 does not depend on the economy, so there is no comparison with the speculation you’re talking about.

Soooo childish. Don’t hear any WvW players crying about the fact that the WvW med set is the base used for the med armour… No; “It cost me 1350 badges of honour! Do you know how long I had to grind for that!” <— Say that in the voice of a 12 year old for the full effect.
Children, that’s what you guys (the against crowd, that is) are acting like. If Anet was planing to expand the range of armour by the additional 12 set’s that are in the game, but not available for every class, I am all for it!
Yeah me too, and then I want Twilight skin for 2000 gems. Like this, I won’t have to grind to get the skin I want. I don’t care that people payed over 1000 golds to get it, and if they complain, that’s only ‘cause they’re childish.
Well were are these players to rise their point? I see a thread with 17 pages and many double and triple posts. Hundreds of thousands players play this game. Why did they remove a skin based on a bunch of whiny people, who do not represent even a 1% of the gw2 playerbase? Not fair!
By this logic, they should remove the Ascended items right now.
Pretty simple, all of the other topics have been erased. But if you had been there the evening they released the armor, it was a real storming, with multiple topics opening every minute and criticizing the decision.
You say we are not the majority, but you don’t know what the majority thinks neither. So stop talking as if the silent majority is agreeing with you.

So much gold for a supposed race gear, and then, you propose it on the store for half the price, with better effects ,and for all the races? No, really?
