Elixir X: This skill now gains a duration increase from both the Inventions trait Elite Supplies and the Alchemy trait Potent Elixirs.
Freeze Grenade: This skill no longer benefits from the Explosives trait Grenadier for 5-second cooldown reduction.
Knee Shot: This Firearms trait now effects all immobilize skills for engineers. The effect can only trigger once every 5 seconds to prevent players from exploiting it to stack massive amounts of cripple.
Mortar: This skill is now properly affected by the Inventions trait Rifled Turret Barrels.
Rifled Barrels: This Firearms trait now works with the Elixir Gun kit when underwater.

WvW is about killing your enemy.
It’s about fun. This is and never will be an e-sport.
We didn’t need scoreboards in DAoC or Warhammer. Both of which are known amongst pvp enthusiasts as the best RvR / Open World dynamic PvP scenarios to be found in any game.
People play now to flip objectives – not to kill your enemy. It’s a point meta-game that detracts from crushing your opponent.

Pretty much that.
You need to lock transfers to high pop servers.
Add bonuses to low pop. servers (The current outmanned buff in WvW would do nicely)
Also, Improve the outmanned buff in WvW to actually help you fight greater odds.
As is you just have everyone joining the top server/s.
The whole idea of WvW balancing servers against each other when there is zero repercussion when transferring to the winning side is just moronic. It shows zero forethought or at least total disregard to the pvp meta-game.

I’m sure there will be fun and pvp to be had regardless of where we end up in the weeks to follow.
If we pick back up or end up in a new bracket, shouldn’t really matter.

The amount of trash talking is a bit disheartening. From all sides.
I wonder how much is from new transfers and leechers compared to those who have been fighting on their respective servers since day 1.
As far as the scores go – I’m thinking we had people jump ship or just not care anymore on SBI.
About a 10 minute que for EB on a Saturday roughly 2 hours ago (somewhat primetime) last week it would of been hours I believe.
Ahh well, I still try to have fun regardless. However I think having scores was a bad decision on ANet’s part.
With DAoC you just looked at the map. Scores didn’t matter. Which made last stand Alamo type fights such a blast. If the enemy wanted to kill you (Which was the point) they had to fight on your terms.
Now it’s all about flipping objectives before the timer ticks down. Lame.

I still feel rifle is our best option.. sadly.
Combo effects, CC, sigils actually work and I don’t waste a whole utility slot with a broken kit.

This is pretty much a melee range weapon.
Considering that, it deals horrible damage. Extremely lackluster CC and next to zero utility.
You’d be better off just going Bombs if you want to be in melee range.

I’d actually like to see 4 factions to be honest.
That and the ability to make treaties for 24 hours between worlds based on majority of a vote based system in WvW.

Well just going by the information given by Anet – HoD fields a much larger force than any other server past midnight.
I really can’t argue beyond that without a true population count, but you have to agree that does mean something to have a que at all times in the day.

What was the name of that zone where we camped for item spawns for our pvp?

I don’t want to limit anyone’s fun.
What I’m suggesting is some of the serious pvp overnight crews on HoD transfer elsewhere for an even split.
How fun can it really be to just steam roll through keeps and not fight anyone?
If we the players do not fix this, ANet will likely try in a panic maneuver.
And they will likely fail.
Much better if the players take proactive measures to ensure a balanced gaming experience for those involved.
But that’s just my opinion.

If the players don’t fix the problem for balanced fights so all can enjoy and ANet doesn’t intervene – I suspect a large drop in pvp participation from the majority of servers.
Really people, it’s everyone’s problem. Don’t shoot yourself in the foot because you want to win at any cost.

Really the NA members of HoD have nothing to do with the imbalance.
It’s not their fault that the Oceanic servers don’t want any challenge and choose to all play on the same server.Some people like pvp and some people like to break down doors without opposition.
To each their own I guess.Oceanics don’t all play on the same server though. They just probably don’t want to play on YOUR server because of gim.p comments like that.

When a server has zero resistance at night time that generally implies that most if not all of the pvp oceanic guilds are on their server.

We all have to admit there is a huge issue here. If there is no way to win, people will eventually refuse to play.
This will hurt the winners of WvW and the losers.
Why should we waste gold and time when there is zero chance of claiming the gold? People will just take their ball and go home – and really why shouldn’t they?

Except vulnerability effects your target.
Add 4 other people into the mix and it becomes considerably better.
Each additional person hitting the target increases that.

There was a saying in DAoC that I’m sure most people can agree with.
If it’s red, it’s dead.
Unless it’s an animist. Then you kill that kitten first.
Being someone from SBI, I really don’t see people ignoring killable targets. If they can tab target it, they’ll chase after it.

In my opinion,
1. Make the burn last 2 seconds instead of 1. This would boost the damage enough I think.
2. Fireblast should be changed to a combo blast finisher at detonation point. No need to change the damage. This would also fix the issue of zero combo finishers with flame thrower.
3. Personally I’d rather this be changed to a pull. If it has to be a push back then at least attach some sort of cripple to it. This is the fastest recoverable CC I’ve seen.
4. I’d personally like this to be changed to a PBAOE persistent fire field effect. The very low range and awkward positioning of the wall is extremely troublesome in pvp and pve alike.
With a pbaoe effect you can at least guarantee mobs and players on yourkitten will get hit by it.
5. Smoke Vent is ok. But a single blind on a 20 second CD is just really meh to me. If this also caused 5 seconds of poison that would be worthwhile.
That or reduce the CD to 10 seconds.

I bound my heal to mouse 4.
Throw on medkit and speedykits – problem solved.
It’s also the best kit to run through trash with. Condition removal and 3 heals on a short cooldown. Not including the f1 heal.
You don’t have to mess with anything else really.

No, the weapon damage modifier from your weapon does not help your kits at all.
It appears kits at 80 are capped at a specified weapon damage and will not increase with better gear.
IE – there is zero scaling.
I really thought game devs were smarter than this by now.

I just hit 80 tonight and wanted to test some stuff out.
I got all my rare armor made, mastercraft jewelry and rare rifle.
I also decided to go ahead and go condition damage / support with elixir gun. Figured it would be good for WvW and group play.
However, upon swapping between my Rare Rifle and my kits – I’m a bit worried.
I knew beforehand that kits had scaling issues. I just didn’t understand to what extent.
Right now when I swap to my kit I’m losing 5% crit and 256 Attack. Not to mention a Superior Sigil.
Stats aside (Which I hope they fix..) I’m losing 98 Weapon Damage. This disparity will only increase with Exotics and eventually Legendary weapons.
To me, this is unacceptable. Our CORE mechanic is kits. If these do not scale with our weapons then we are already lagging behind EVERY single class on the board.
Unless of course we choose to use only pistols and rifles.
It’s funny that we can’t even swap between these two.
Kits need to be fixed ASAP.
They need to Scale.
Auto-Attack needs to work.
Stats from our weapon need to count.
Sigils from our weapon need to work.
To have such a key component of our class be completely FUBAR is a joke.
The only kit worth a kitten is the kit that you increased the damage by 200%.
Fix this.

1. Healing Turret regeneration is reduced to 5 pt heals if the Healing Turret is destroyed.
The regeneration boon should not be affected by this.
2. Tool Belt ability Cool Downs are not being reduced by investing points into the Tool Trait.
3. Turrets are not activating their Overcharge Mechanisms as soon as you click the button.
What is happening instead: The Turrets NEXT attack is replaced with the overcharge. This nerfs the entirety of Turrets (Making them lose an attack) and in the case of the Healing Turret, making it next to useless. Since the Healing Turret only seems to activate every 10-20 seconds, most debilitating effects are long gone by the time you need it.
4. The Deployable Turrets Trait only appears to work with Healing and Rocket Turrets.
5. Kits: Upon swapping to different kits, the auto-attack functions are not being saved.
This is requiring the engineer to re-apply the auto-attack each time they swap kits. Which in combat is far too time consuming.
6. Sigils and Main-hand weapon stats STILL are not affecting Kits.
