I’ve had similar results in the past using s/s lb warrior against d/d eles under spvp conditions where there is no +40% duration food. I’ve played as condi and against condi. You’re blind if you haven’t noticed that condi builds have an advantage against power builds in 1v1.
By the way, d/d ele is about the only power build that can bring enough condi clear to fight condi builds without crippling itself against power builds.
Funny considering that most spvp players do not feel this way.

Do you have any damage output numbers that a condition build with that food does more damage then a power based build can put out with its optimal food? Until you provide something like that, you are making nothing more then an unfounded claim.

The problem isnt conditions. The problem is no one wants to bring condition removal. As a necro main, I purposly go into wvw knowing this fact. In spvp, I completely avoid condition builds because they are simply not up to par. Actually, condition builds frowned upon in spvp because they dont stand up to the majority of power builds.
Removing condition food wold also cripple condition builds. This is another reason why condition builds mostly only work in wvw and not spvp. Condition food is actually mandatory if you want to use any kind of condition builds as they are simply useless without it. This is a big balance issue, and if they remove condition food, they would need to increase duration’s to compensate.
So people complain about not winning at the lottery so Anet listens and gives another chance for people to win the lottery but this time include halloween crafting mats and valuable materials and people STILL complain? NOTHING besides making the skins accessible to everyone will satisfy you people.

NEVER did Arenanet say that the black lion chests had a 100% chance of having a skin. How on earth is this false advertising.
The only reason I was excited for the Halloween event were the skins, especially the Greatsaw Greatsword Skin. But after the crap they pulled, I’m not supporting their company anymore.
Real money gambling is disgusting, I was hoping these chests might alleviate the problem but alas, the drop rates are the same, if not lower, and tailor to gem store purchases only.

I’m installing panda land as we speak. Our guild of about 50 people are doing the same. Logging on tonight to see 20 people in EB in what used to be an hour que has showed me that they’re just another Bioware.
I don’t care what anyone says “The proof is in the pudding.” as far as the WvW numbers go. You don’t go from being 20k+ pts behind and having nearly no orbs through the entire weekend to having all 3 orbs and being ahead of SBI in points in a little over a day through just having “better communication”. Sorry HoD’ers, but not everyone is that dense.
Yes you do. TA could not get their players on during the 9 hour ques all weekend. Our guild had 100 people online QUEING on Friday reset. Guess how many got on? 13

I have gained A ton of respect for RUIN. Of all the guild, they are the most fierce by a mile. When they lose they come back. I really hope they stay because to be honest WvW needs them.
Considering the amount of rage coming from all the message boards and in game, I give anet a few weeks before they start throwing in mechanics to assist with this sort of thing.
I cant wait for the tears to come during that time.
The fact is people are crying because they are losing and blaming HOD for playing the game AS IT IS MEANT TO BE PLAYED! 24/7 means 24 hours a day, 7 days a week not just when you are online and able to play.
Deal with it, stop the tears, shut your mouths, and then figure out how to do it yourselves.

Actually, we we’re doing so. We were doing it for 4 days on SBI which explains why you were in last place. Unfortunately, we had to sleep at some point.

Nice to see an admission of the double teaming against HoD and the friendly pact SBI had between it and ET server.
You’ll probably get woeful abuse because of it now as it implicates many on SBI server for potentially exploitative abuse of the WvW mechanics in order to secure a win. Not many apart from myself and one or two others, have spoken out against this behavior by most on SBI server.
They already made a lot of Korean players quit the game because of the abuse they received for not following orders shouted at them by random people – not once even realizing they couldn’t speak/understand English very well, especially when SPAM SHOUTED at. I comforted a few and we continued our attack on Anzalia but for the most part I felt very sorry for them and what they had to endure.
I’m glad though that another person from SBI has openly admitted to double teaming against HoD. I would just like ArenaNet now to investigate and ban all these people who participated in same exploitative/cheating behavior.
