What the confusions here?
They dont stack in a single huge bleed.I’m not sure that’s 100% correct, unless I misunderstood your post.
Bleeding stacks in intensity, so if you use two 4s bleeding skills back-to-back, the duration remains 4 seconds but the damage per tick doubles.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/BleedingThis should not be confused with burning, where the duration stacks and the intensity is constant (e.g., two 4s burns back-to-back results in an 8 second burn for the same damage each tick)
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/BurningI could be wrong here, but that’s how I understand it.
Also, to the OP, check the wiki first. Often times answers to some of these questions are easily found (the wiki page includes the dmg calculation formula to boot, so you can estimate how much +condition dmg stats will increase your tick #’s).
Bleeding can stack in intensity up to 25 times and each stack does one pulse of damage per second. The damage dealt by bleeding is determined by the following formula:
2.5 + 0.5 * Level + 0.05 * Condition Damage per stack per second
This does not give my any answer at all. Where is the damage from the spell it self calculated in here? If a bleed does 115 over 4 seconds, where is that added in this formula?
There a bug where bleed duration increasse may increasse its duration but the damage tooltip doesn’t change (i tested with Shortbow auto-attack with 35% bleed duration, it lasted 4s on tooltip but the damage on the tooltip did not changed, but the “extra” tick was there)
The dps is always the same
Ok. But what about the ranger that stacks on my bleedings tack too? He surly does not do the same bleed dps as I have since we have different gear.

They dont stack in a single huge bleed. Each one is independent from the other, when u have 25 stacks, it stops there or replace the lower stacks(older or lower time, dunno about this)
All bleeds have the same dps that your other bleeds have
The only diference is how long they last
Bleed does not have the same DPS.
Rending Curse: 4 sec, 115 damage = 28,7
Blood Curse: 4 sec, 115 damage. = 28,7
Grasping Dead: 7 sec, 200 damage =28,5
Enfeebling Blood: 10 sec, 571 damage = 57,1
Blood Power: 30 sec, 1713 damage = 57,1
And on top if this, if I put up my bleeds and a ranger starts to attack the target too, his bleed will stack with my bleed.
So, bleeding, I get 6 for different bleeding abilities.
Rending Curse: 4 sec, 115 damage.
Blood Curse: 4 sec, 115 damage.
Grasping Dead: 7 sec, 200 damage.
Enfeebling Blood: 10 sec, 571 damage.
Blood Power: 30 sec, 1713 damage.
Bleeding dot from crit: Dont know anyting about it.
How com all off this stack up in 1 damaging condition on the target? How can this actually stack up and work? I can’t see how this work at all since all of them, more or less, have different damage and duration.
Anyone who can enlighten me please?

Looks like I will have to try that. Thanks.
An other question.
Since DoT’s dont crit, why does “Curses Trait” boost precision and Condition Damage? If you doing a DoT build, Precision is totally useless.
EDIT: I notes “barbed Precision”. how much is that bleading effect?
(edited by ZtriDer.9573)
Other question. If I have 2 daggers with "10% chnce on critical: Trigger a Flame Blast for AoE damage.
Does it stack to 20%, or does it give 2 individual chances of 10% to trigger a blast? Does it have an internal CD so you cant get it spamed or even triggerd twice from dame crit?
Can someone help me a bit? Have a few things I wonder.
Can DoTs (like bleed) crit?
If so, does it effect the 15 point blood magic ability Vampiric Precition?
Anyone know of any of your “… on crit” abilities can be effected by your pets crits?
Thanks
I really hope they dont make this game into a new “WoWcasual” where you can run the instances blindfoldet. I hope they will keep the instances hard and gives you a challange. I don’t see why a game should be so easy that you dont die.
As it is now a PuG that have basic understanding of teamplay and cooperation and basic knowledge of their caracter and what each skill do, will more or less run trough the instance.
So please dont make instances into “WoWmode”.
I constantly see people running the game with 100fps+ (on low settings etc), and here is the problem.
I have an adequate machine (will post the stats further down) but for some reason I can’t get good fps.
If I put everything on maximum I get a stable 23-30 fps (even if 20 people gos aoe nuts). But if I put the game on maximum performance and minimum graphics I only manage to get 50 fps.
Anyone know what I need to do to boost the fps?
This is my stats:
OS: Windows 7 home permium 64bit
CPU: Intel® Core i7-960 Processor.
Moather Board: Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R
RAM: 3x Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600MHz 4GB CL9 (12GB total)
GPU: 2x XFX Radeon HD 6950 2GB GDDR5 in CrossFire.
HD: 2x Corsair SSD Force Series GT 120GB in RAID 0
is your map at 100%?
As this one asks, is your map 100%? If not, then go explore. Since you are “auto-leveld” to teh zone you enter, you will not be able to just walk trough it as lvl 80.
I have only done the lvL 30 isntance so far, but to my experiance mostly was from the floor, dead. Every fight I ended up pulling agro like a tank using taunt. I could use my dodge, wiggle around, and then just die since I dont have any defensive skills.
Every group fight in out in the world against PvE I pull agro also. Im kiting like hell out of world group “bosses”.
There must be something wrong with the way agro works.
I have this issue all the time. The pets just stands around doing nothing while I am attacking a mob.
And the most freaking anoying thing is that when Im done fighting the mob, my minions (mostly the golem) suddenly runs off and start attacking other mob way out.
The AI is just totaly kitten.
IMO there shuld be a pet controll system for your minion like the ranger have. Attack, deffend, passive, return. And the special attacks is controlled by the same way as it is today.

Thanks for the tips Have them all noted down
A littel bump for others to take notis of this.
EDIT: This forum should have a “vote/like” button so people can search for good upvoted posts.
I really hope they add option to chance your chat:
- like splitting up the chat, would love to be able to have guild chat in one window and general chat open in an other window.
- the change of font size for each chat window. The sizes we have now is still not enough. Some chats is way more important and needs the focus
- the change of font colour. Some of the colour gives me a pain with the “right” background colour.
- option to add a “transparent darker wall” behind the text. And have the option to change the “darkness” of that wall.
- option to add private chats for guilds.
Simply put, WTB better chat options. This is something basic that should already have been in the game, hey, it is 2012. Take experience from any other MMO out there. They all have had to put that into the game sooner or later if they did not have it in the game from the start.
This will most probably be added later on with an update for the UI patch. Why no UI modification (that is an other discussion), but please please please, add the chat option asap. It gives me an headache at times trying to read that chat, especially with snow in the background :s /CRY!!!
