The Rubicon outfit makes my Human Ranger look pregnant. It is really bulgy and not very flattering. I’ve given up trying to find a nice Warrior armor as I look like a walking tin of tuna. I know they need protection but even Robocop never looked that bad!
Godslost Swamp is another place I’ve seen the farming. The hut, with the ravens? I tried it and got a lot of candy corn, few nougat sweets, it was kind of fun to kill some time and as I’ve not experienced Halloween in game yet, I liked the ToT bags.
I keep re-rolling human characters as ‘noble’ as I think Countess Anise is kind of cute. Although I grimace all through Faren missions. He and Trahearne need to hook up and go live in Elona or some other continent far far away.
First time playing the game I was wandering through Godslost Swap and nearly had a coronary as the kittening Behemoth appeared.
Thank you. I’ve just done that. I’m not holding out much luck, but you never know.
I’ve spent a bit on gems when I first got the game so I’m hoping there is some hope as it has put me off a little bit…but we’ll see. Thanks
A few weeks ago while in the middle of re-rolling a few characters I accidentally deleted a character that had three gem store purchases on it. It was three items of gathering tools, although I’m not quite sure which three I had.
I cursed myself for being so stupid and then re-purchased three more items (not sure if they were exactly the same as the ones I deleted or different skins)
I was talking to someone earlier and they said support should be able to check and refund the gems I lost.
Is this worth chasing up or is it just tough luck? I’m more annoyed at how dumb I was, and to be honest I did kind of think the items were account bound so would pop up again (like the golem banker)
Thanks

Nice one OP… made me chuckle

A+
As long as no-one comes out with the cringe worthy ’ get this cheese to sickbay’ … Oh wait…
There was a post on this very issue last week maybe? I noticed because I had never heard of it and curiosity got the better of me and I tried it. I can’t help but think the people trying to stop this either have a vested interest in stopping other peoples potential gain, or are uptight at seeing half nekid toons running around. Or you’re just killjoys. Sometimes running around in your undies is great fun
I don’t know if this counts as awe… but it’s definitely bleak in an endearing way
How did you get your game to look so good?
Yeah, beautiful looking pics.
And I’m loving the burning LA pics. Wasn’t around for it, so nice to see
I’d like to agree with the opening post.
When I first played this game back in January I was struck by how much bigger (than GW1) everything was. And when I walked in to Divinity’s Reach I was like WTF, where the heck do I go first? Everything was so busy and vibrant!
I admit I also thought it was a bit like WoW, but I quickly got that notion out of my head. (no disrespect to fans of that game, but it really wasn’t my cup of tea)
But so far I am loving the game. Although my one gripe was getting to the Personal Story ending and realizing I needed a group of people to do it with.
Thanks Jana for that information. I did indeed check and it was 40 silver. I’m looking at getting the crafting license when I have enough coin or gems.
Dawdler that is good advice. I have bought another slot, but I am terrible at creating and deleting characters. I truly believe this should be an achievement as I’d be legendary status by now!
Oh, I had no idea. Thank you. I assumed if I changed crafting I’d lose my levels. Oh ok, I feel stupid now! Thanks Serenke.
Hi Folks,
I’m relatively new to GW2. I’ve only been playing 5 months, but I am really loving it. I wish I had taken the leap from GW1 sooner!
Anyway, I’ve maxed out my Chef crafting and I’m about 180 with Huntsman as my other craft. I’m just wondering if I learn another crafting ability instead of Chef, am I going to really regret it?
I know I can make more characters and have them learn more crafts, but I’m terrible at deleting characters and re-rolling them.
I guess I’m wondering if Chef is really a big deal? I had great fun in learning combinations, but I’m a bit over it now and wonder if I am missing out on potential profit by not utilizing this craft?
Any advice is much appreciated.
