Beyond the Pact is recruiting members of Tarnished Coast for WvW, Most of our players are on during North American Prime hours. We are currently rebuilding after a large majority went to Sea of Sorrows.
What we offer:
a small guild that has potential for its members to have growing/breathing room. Newbie friendly officers that will help you with a question or help you find the answer if needed should a question arise. Our guild runs a lot of sentry work/havoc but also has done its best to support the commanders from other WvW guilds as well, even zerging with them.
What we Expect:
We expect you to get on and have a good time with us, be active and courage, work well with others. It is that simple. Basically as long as you can behave yourself, enjoy yourself and work with a group of people who want to achieve things We want you!
We do have an inactivity policy where members and officers alike are not supposed to be inactive more than at most two weeks without letting an officer know. We do boot you after a month period if we are not notified before hand of an extended leave.

No major rep requirements here! We expect you to rep our guild when your in WvW or if we are running a DRAG event. We understand many guilds have a 100% rep requirement or something similar and we aim to be flexible with ours.

Well even the T1 servers don’t always have the man power to put people in towers and scout them. We just don’t, most of the time those people are needed elsewhere to deal with the 60 vs 20’s that happen at some hours of the day. T1 is not as glorious as you might think, last night I had to lead a garrison defense with four people and we got steam rolled 50 v 4. The white swords at least notified us that someone was attacking garri and allowed us to try and do something about it.
yeah they don’t give a kitten about WvW, its a filler for when they want to work on PvE stuff. Honestly in a true swiss this match up should have been TC-JQ-MAG. Mag has had FA all four weeks.
This is stupid, keep your word or don’t open your mouth, Anet. If you say no repeat match ups then mean it. I demand dev response!
Anet, by not manually doing a separate matchup for these three top tier 1 servers you have basically already decided the winner. Lets face it the winner of this matchup for this week will be the winner of gold league. Next season please do not put three servers together that regularly face each other during the off season.
I will tell you a server that will truly take anyone regardless of level. Try Tarnished Coast, Most everyone there is extremely friendly.
I was mainly referring to the population of the server diminishing. TC in example seems to be bleeding guilds at the moment. A step to T2 might help gain a renewed interest in WvW. In respond to the OP though some sort of map rotation needs to be put into place .
Call it a short amount of time where all the worlds give players a chance to work toward map completion. It also would encourage PvErs to come check out WvW and feel safe enough to figure out if they want to stay. I was killed minutes into coming into WvW and thought of giving up but stuck with it. Five minutes is not much in a scheme of the week long match.

Maybe we could get all three worlds to agree to a five minute window at reset where nothing gets defended and then all bets are off after that?
Well I fear WvW may get toxic if some rotation does not happen soon. Map chat gets pretty nasty sometimes because of the frustrations with the color not rotating.
Honestly a while back I had an idea for a map completion mode of WvW where you entered and could not be killed or kill. No combat allowed for those who take the mode, they would be given a white color and allowed to enter where they need to. If they tried to kill they would be forced out of map completion mode and then have to fend for themselves. I did have an idea for a set timer on it too. Any person who entered this mode would be given fifteen minutes to do what they needed and then they could not re-enter the mode until their daily reset.
I would be up for a server population balance. I suggested offering Jade Quarry members an incentive to go to a smaller world to play. That way a smaller server has a chance to function correctly. They could also offer this to TC or BG as well. Seperately limiting the numbers allowed on the map could work too. If JQ has 50 and BG has 20 then 30 of those JQ are rerouted to EoTM
Honestly T2 would be the best thing right now for TC. A lot of us have said such. Anyone not saying such is only kidding themselves at the current time.
Is it me or does it seem that in WvW having the biggest world has its speed advantages? Not sure if they experience it too but the lag around any Jade Quarry blob is completely horrible. Sometimes you move around trying to run away to only find out five minutes later you are dead and have been for some time now. I am calling for Arena Net to split up the Jade Quarry server and create a new one or offer an incentive for Jade Quarry members to go to a smaller server.
Secondly while I am here I want to take a moment to rant on the ethics of guild buying, sometimes people offering guild leaders thousands of gold to transfer worlds. It bothers me to think that some of these worlds excel just because they can buy their way to the top instead of skill being shown on the field of battle. Seriously how is a world supposed to compete when another is buying off people constantly.
Thirdly, allow me to take a moment to complain about the rotation of the maps when it comes to WvW. How is it for the fifth week in a row Tarnished Coast is Red, Blackgate blue and Jade Quarry is green? Map completion is a nightmare, I’ve sat at needing a single vista in the eternal battlegrounds for a month now. I am tired for this and frankly if Tarnished Coast moved to Tier 2 again, I’d jump up and down with an excitement never seen from a person before. Because frankly then people might be able to actually get completion.

I am trying to understand how during a reset you can get the same color for the third week in a row. Even random the odds of this happening are not that great. Trust me I found a site and tried it. The other two worlds in the tier have had the same color too for three weeks now and that is even more bonkers.
I’m worried the new 200 gold cost for arenas is too high. At least at last check the conversion for the old 1600 gem cost won’t even let you buy one.
Hello I am a rather new player to Guild Wars 2 and not long ago I decided to start a Guild for Roleplay and good times. I hope to accomplish many things and make many friends while also making sure I provide a place for all members to enjoy the environment.
Here are a few things I want to bring to the table in hopes of recruiting anyone who reads this.
- A roleplay environment where most out of character chatter is kept to private chat.
- Dungeons where those taking part do not have to feel rushed and are welcome to fully enjoy the story.
- Members are welcome to join other guilds and are not required to represent all the time. The only exception to this rule is an racial officer who is only required to represent if officer character.
-Monthly Private PVP tournament where you can choose to take part. It is not mandatory for a person to enter the tournament.
-Winners of the tournament will be granted the title of “King of the Guild” and gifted gold or some other item.
All potential members should expect to be treated with respect. I aim to create an productive guild where everyone can feel at home and enjoy the game.
