Hey,
since the last update it sould be possible to use a Sigil of Air and a Sigil of Fire on the same weapon (set) without any limitations.

Can someone confirm this?
I’m considering to put both on my rangers long bow.

Alternatively I could use a Sigil of Air and a Sigil of Strength (might on critical hit). What do you think is better?

I just took a look at the the security tab on the gw2 website and found an active login from a foreign IP address (see attachment).

After looking up the IP I found out that 64.25.32.69 belongs to NCSoft.

Can you explain this to me?

@Hannelore: But the +45% is your total bonus, isn’kitten Only 15% are from the Rune of the Traveller.

Arena Net announced that there will be single rune sets which are good at specific things to prevent mixing multiple rune sets.
Like a beeding duration set for example. The Rune of the Krait is doing well here with +45% bleeding duration.
But I miss a good boon duration set. On my guardian I mixed 2 Runes of the Monk, 2 Runes of the Water and 2 Runes of the Traveler to get +45% boon duration.
Now the maximum is +20% with the Rune of the Water which is less then 50% compared to before the update.

In my eyes that is not sufficient.

I just got the same bug. At the first two tries I were not able to talk to Gavin. At the third try I did not talk to him before the end and this time it worked.
I noticed that he was standing at the first two times and when it worked he was kneeling.

Well at least I am not the only one with that problem.

I’m currently doing the last fine tunings on my own GW2 Boss Timer app which improves a few things I didn’t like in current apps. I think I still can make it useful but the major part of my work will be obsolete.

I also hope they will make the halo a bit more visible and fix the clipping bug on asuras.

I would also prefer if the horns don’t fly above the head but come out of the hair. Like it is now but bigger.

So there wasn’t a “Lovestruck Weapon Claim Ticket”?
Now when I think about it I could just have searched for a “Lovestruck Weapon Claim Ticket” or a “Dreamthistle Weapon Claim Ticket” and would not have found them.

As far as I know, tickets, or more commonly, ticket scraps replaced any skins…if there were skins before. I don’t remember skins, just claim tickets.

I just updated my question.
It was always with the tickets but there were (or are?) special tickets like the Fused Weapon Claim Tickets.

I’m wondering if it is still possible to get a specific weapon skin ticket (like Fused Weapon Claim Ticket, but related to the current living story) directly from a Black Lion Chest or if it was completely replaced by the (general) Black Lion Claim Tickets.

I can’t give you an official answer but I would say: No.

Like in Guild Wars 1 you can spend a lot of time and effort in special weapons / armor but it will not give you any advantages over other players.

I think that is an important thing that contributes Guild Wars and differentiates it from other mmorpgs.

I noticed, that there are some things wrong with the boon duration

One general thing is the remaining time: When the counter reaches 0 sek it’s actually 1 sec. Not sure if it should be like that but I considered it in my other observations.

The other thing is the stacking of boon duration.

I were actually writing a really nice and detailed post when I realized that the boon duration is capped at a factor of 2×. This seems to be wanted.
But to write at least one bug I noticed: The tool tipps do not consider the cap of 2×.
So you can get higher duration numbers in the tool tipp than you actually have.

At first I thought it will be really expensive, like 30g or so, but I think 3 – 4g is an acceptable price.

Yeah, I know this technique but the problem is that you only get one white back item which is souldbound from the story. Have tried it but that hasn’t worked.

I suggest that the “Mad Memoires: Complete Edition” will be changed to account bound as all the other new event back items like the “Fervid Censer” or the “Sclerite Karka Shell” are.

I’m currently creating an ele and I would like to give him a nice fire look. The “Mad Memoires: Complete Edition” would just fit perfectly.
Unfortunately I got the item long before creating my ele.
