Reapers of Corvus is on Seafarer’s Rest – we are relatively new and slowly adding to our Reaper Crew. We are going slowly so new members have a chance to settle in and we get a chance to get to know each member. We are limiting recruitment so as to not get too big…we don’t want our members feeling lost, nor do we as founders want to be lost!
We are a friendly bunch with players from all backgrounds, levels of gaming experience, etc – from casual to semi-hardcore. Quite a few of our newer members are returning players or new to the game. We on average have about 10 players on in the evenings…there are a few on during the day but it can be quiet. As we add to our crew, this should change – as in more people will be online.
We’ve just started doing guild missions and one of our members is looking to start running dungeon and fractal groups.

Howdy Hitomoshi! Have a look at reapersofcorvus.co.uk. We are on Seafarer’s Rest which is only an issue if you want to WvW…having said that I think we’ve got two guildies on Deso as well who are looking at transferring, though not immediately. We are a friendly bunch and don’t mind showing people the ropes…I’m testament to that being a nabtastic rangerette. We have players of all abilities and experience and welcome those who want to learn.
If you haven’t posted your guild info up on the site euguilds.com, head on over and do it! Lots of hits and your post won’t disappear (so no need to hop on daily to bump) . It is easy and free! euguilds.com

Totally chuffed to bits!! GW Reporter gave me some tremendous feedback re: The Directory. It will be featured on their “show tonight, which will be released on 13 Feb in the early morning NA hours”. A fantastic endorsement!! So if you haven’t yet registered your guild, hop on over. Remember, this is only for guilds on EU English language focused servers. Not because we don’t like the other European servers – it is because I am not fluent in languages other than English so I couldn’t translate or moderate.

Guardian is quite right, we’ve set up a directory dedicated to EU English language focused server guilds for all game modes. It went live a couple of days ago so there are not many guilds on it just yet but the site is receiving plenty of hits. Everyone has to start somewhere, right?
I’m going through these forums and pulling guild info and posting, however this is not ideal. Much better if the guild officers post up their own info so they can manage their listing.
In addition to guild listings – both non-specific and specific server, we’ve also got community boards with website links. I’m hoping the managers of those communities will take over those links so they can include expanded info.
Players don’t have to register to view the directory, post a guild recruitment messages or post community events messages though it would be better for me if those managing a listing did become a member in the event I need to contact them.
At the moment we are not hosting player looking for adverts. This is purely a directory and as it is brand spankin’ new, all the guilds and community links so far are current and active.

LOL…oh dear…perhaps they are inundated with support requests for lost passwords and some such. Since the expansion announcement there seems to be an influx of returning players.

In the meantime, I’ll just keep bumping the thread and PMing folks who haven’t listed a home server on their guild advertx

About us: Reapers of Corvus (RoC) is a small EU guild on Seafarer’s Rest looking to expand, but only just so we have enough to do Guild Missions and not have to pug fractals and dungeons. Get too big and people start to feel lost, ourselves included! We are a group of players aged 21 – 49+ (at the moment I hold the title for oldest guild member, go me!) with diverse interests and at various stages of life -with and without kidlets. This sound okay so far? If so, read on…
Our minimum requirements: 21 years old +, good sense of humour and not afraid to fail with style – in other words, we don’t take ourselves too seriously. We are all pretty busy in real life so when we do log in, we want to have fun while gettin’ stuff done!
We don’t require 100% rep – GW2 was built for rep’ing multiple guilds so it seems unfair to demand members only rep us. We ask that if you are doing PvE stuff to rep us when possible to help us keep guild perks up.

I did not know that gw2.guildex.org existed. Consequently our guild is not on it.
It isn’t a matter of replacing anything else already out there but complementing what there is and adding to exposure.
If there were an advantage, it would only be for players and guilds on EU English language focused servers. Our forums are smaller and simpler so less for players to have to comb through. Because it is simpler, there isn’t a bunch of clicking involved…just scroll down til a guild catches your eye. Much like you do in the GW2 forums except there is a bit more organisation with euguilds.com
Also because it is a smaller forum, it is easier to organise into categories without the player having to click on filters. If you look at euguilds.com, you’ll find that each server has a category for each part of the game and a hybrid category for guilds that offer a bit of everything. We’ve also got a section for community websites to add links…again more exposure for the community sites and guilds.
