I got the Millenium set on hot key myself…but that site seems to be well off of current points. Maybe people update the EU side better? It gives a good idea of who’s leading. But never replaces fun pics of happy or sad player updates.

whats it cost to transfer?….if its anywhere from 2000 gems or less…then the cost is about even compared to a transfer on any other game. Make it too low and you might as well have free transfers. One needs server pride, win or lose. Plenty of people just jump ship during rough times. Make it easy to swap….its just as easy to swap again. Like ET, you could be rockin’ n rollin. The top of yer game, then it all ends in a day, cuz transfers were too easy and a big guild or guilds decided to up and leave

Rome wasn’t built in a day….and SoS isn’t going to die anytime soon. With paid transfers that is, hehe.

I loved the Battle of Vale and the breaking of the Bay wall last night on FABL. Got to partake in wall defense and the breaking of the trebs/person cleanup. Was a good battle from all who showed up.

As for the Zerg mentallity….I think everyone runs in a zerg now and then. But alot of us are in 1 or 2 man guilds,(myself included) Alot of us run solo on stuff or with just one man. Spent alot of time runnin Yaks from FABL lowlands to Redlake tower last yesterday. And defending lowlands supply the night before with another dude. I was the Asura warrior with the terrible pvp skills…for any of you Magoomies the were sneakin in. Ya I’m terrible at pvp, I know…but I enjoy this game for what it is. You can still be bad and still have a purpose right? Other than giving out badges hehe.

Anyways…been some nice fights…hope to see more the rest of this week.

hehe…i dont think my guy is past 20% map completion. only did a dungeon or two….have yet to do a fractal. and I think im up to about the lvl 14 or so part of my class quest.

sorry…late on my post…yar, sucks when ya get put up against a “wagon” server or such. We just missed rollin against the Kain"wagon" and glad of it too.

aye…my server woulda went down to 18th I believe. We would have been placed up against a few tough groups now and then…but eventually we woulda been back to T2 and those in T8 painfully back to T8. Its better this way….yer best bet is to either tough it out or transfer.

Heck, I’ll bite. Great to be back to my home Tier. If we do good this week….please Anet….give the goomies or the branders the T2 spot, hehe.

Yay!!!! we back to T3…. I think all of us realistic FA’ers knew the outcome of this past week, even before the start. And its good to see the kain"wagoners" are headin to T2. They get to T2 possibly T1…maybe they will like it. I prefer our fights here at T3. Win or lose…its still great for all parties.

Up in T2, we had some real nice fights…lots of badges to be had…but all the work was for naught. As far as holding keeps and whatnot. So all you had was good field battles for the most part. Granted, I’m pretty much a loner in my little one man/possible two man guild, hehe. So I’m sure I see it differently.

For the less open minded/care free readers…twas a joke…grunt language so to speak. Come on over and try us out…..Bunch of good peeps, few lemons…..but who doesnt have a few lemons right? And either way we win…..if yer truly a diehard….just been in a rut with your server forever/since launch, or whatever. Then you’ll more than likely enjoy it here. If you are a bandwagoner/someone that likes the wins with ease….hates a challange…has zero patience….then you will end up leaving. Which is no real loss for us, and maybe you’ll find a better server elsewhere.

Either way….I give ya the sgt’s open arms. Racks are down n’ to yer left. Mess hall, to the right. And if ya didnt fill out yer kitten Will….The Chaplain can usually be found in the mess hall, his tent is right next to it.

The Fort will take ya yellabellies in….turn ya into either cannon fodder or baby killers. All depends on what ya make of it. And if the goin gets tough….feel free to leave. We make do either way. And alot that try elsewhere, end up coming back to the Fort. Its a second home so to speak, hehe.

I always love it when someone cries….“the two servers teamed up on us”, or “they dont attack each other”. Its always “the grass is greener on the other side” guys. Seems that way to us sometimes. But remember, its 4 friggin maps thats pretty large and beyond your gaming eyesight….so unless you can see whats actually going on on every spot of every map. Just take a deep breath and remind yourself. Those “other” guys are probably battling it out elsewhere.

Shoot… Its been awhile since I’ve seen large back to back…then back there again, battles over supply camps like we had last night on FABL. Took and lost Godslore sooo many times last night. And most of those were us and DB…Magoomies rolled through and kept on truckin north. Tho we fought tooth and nail against both servers.

We hold no prejudice against any server we are up against…..especially on our homelands. If its red….its dead.

Awesome fights last night guys….Been along time since ive had this kind of “tooth and nail” fighting fun. Hope Its like this all the way up to closing time friday night.

Anyone can get handed a humble sandwich…even a lvl 80 in exotic gear. Had one of those bunker type eles run me through the ringer the other day….if it wasnt for another warrior that stepped in…he woulda had me. Sure, he was a better gamer….but Im sure even after his death….he was probably laughin at the trouble he was givin us.

Point is….dont let your low level ruin it. Find two or three guys goin somewhere….anywhere…and tag along. maybe you will take some supply camps…maybe you will hook up with a zerg.
I have just as much fun….(well actually, i dont….really love my warrior) on my lowbies as my 80. Fun as in…runnin around and seeing whats what….my main, im used to and play the most. but dont let a dozen deaths kill yer mood. Get in there and mix it up…..you never know whats around the corner.

Yep. Lots to do along with the pvp side of it. Honestly, I need to try out the pve side of things. All I have done since beta…minus some personal storyline is WvW. I like it and have liked it since since my guy was a little lvl 4 or 5 minion.

So my vote is…its fine as it is.

you alt-f4….it should disconnect you. But, your toon should be still active for at least a three minute cooldown. Not to bring U.O. up again, but there…if you wanted to log out safely outside of an inn in a town or your home/or a home friended to you. You literally had to “make camp”….as in, make a campfire and set out a bed roll and click it to log. Cant tell you how many times I caught people logging out not doing that, cuz they thought they were out in no mans land, and safe. Free lootz. Same went for transfering goods from one toon to another. If ya didnt have a personal home to drop stuff in chests. You could drop it on the ground and log. But you only had so long to do so or it would vanish. And if you did it in the woods outside of town….you were timed out from logging right back in.

So they would do it near Inns in town. But us sneaky thieves tended to get said loot if they werent careful, hehe.

geez 100 times a day?….. might want to practice not dying. Heck, I hate dying as much as the next guy. Guess it all depends on yer play style. I got it beat into me the hard way I guess. Playing Ultima Online back in the day. You died….you lost all that you had on yer body as loot. Games these days make it so easy for the individual to die and lost nothing. Sure the other guy gets a badge, and maybe a little loot.

But at least Im not popping out and killing you(on that game I’d collect power or vanq weps and deadly poison them…better chance my PK would win the fight, didnt matter if it caused them to break soon after as long as I won. hehe)….stripping your body bare of every piece of armor and weapons. Taking all your pots or foodstuffs….cutting yer head off for a badge to lock down in my keep, and putting your items I dont want on my vendor named “buy yer s**t back”. Then again, I miss that alot.

So at least give the guy a break and give him his just desserts…. after all, yer out there hoping to kill him. And probably want a few badges yourself.

Hehe….my main is a run n gun type build….love me kill shots. I’m built to quickly build up addrenaline just for that purpose…only use up that ability on me axe when its really needed.

But I love me thief too….I think my warrior is better, or that I’m more used to him. But my thief gives me the chuckles….the average player just doesnt know how to deal with them.

Oh and D/D eles are GOD, sheesh!!! I wish I could play one good…hell, I wish I could play one at just the “fairly good” levels.

Thieves arent OP….the guys playin them tend to be…just like any class.

some days running as a loner in Wv3 is fun… love it when I get to tag along on my cute little pop-gun toting asura. Other days makes me wonder. It would be neat to be in a larger guild, but theres times like the other night, when guys are telling people to leave EB so a “real” guild can come in and do “real” work. And its not like we are losing, or even close to it. More bashin and less bickering while in battle is how I prefer it.

Some real nice fights from all sides these last few nights. And I wanna thank all….from all servers…that were there bringin it.

We’re an EU guild who are considering a move to Fort Aspenwood (the US server) to provide a tactical presence in their WvW during non-NA prime time.

In short, we’re 150 strong – whilst that can make a difference we are looking for other EU/Oceanic guilds that are considering a similar move OR members to join us in this quest.

So if you are:

-A guild leader/officer who is already considering this
-One of the above who would propose this to your guild
OR
-An EU player who is interested in joining The Asgards[Asg] to assist us in providing this night shift.

WE NEED YOU!

Would welcome (educated) opinions and ideas below and will happily respond to PMs or replies here should you be interested.

As a brief rundown I’ve moved across as a “scouting party” and have been in contact with guild leaders from the NA prime time active WvW guilds. So far the response has been encouraging and the WvW scores are reflective of the servers dedication to a coordinated effort. The map paints an amazing picture during prime-time however as they openly admit they have a limited non-NA prime time presence. In my opinion this server has everything it takes to go up a couple of tiers IF they get the right level of support in these times.

Remember a coward dies a thousand death whilst a warrior dies just one!

Sgt Rock here…. Glad to see ya made it across the pond. We were in bad need for more men and supplies for our Night Ops. Mess hall is to yer left, Barracks down to yer right. If’n yer needin to speak to the Military Chaplain prior to headin out… you can usually find him with his books n coffee at the mess hall.
