I’m torn between this.
I think this is going to further promote the “what we lack in skill we make up for in numbers” map pin blob mentality that’s plaguing some of the T1 and T2 servers atm.
atm? atm? It’s been like that for years. Whether people blob has nothing to do with ppk or ppt.
Stacked servers crying about being full. WvW is empty because people are still playing HoT stuff. Tough luck for the small minority of guilds that tried to bandwagon while they could.
Anet wants low pop servers to get stronger. Not for already strong servers to get stronger. Balance, do you get it? It will help wvw in the long run.
Sorry, don’t wanna transfer to a server that has imploded 4 times under multiple different leaderships.

Who’s “intention” as there’s not enough WvW players in NA T1 as it is for large scale combat. So the answer to anyone’s destack request is a flat out, NO! If you don’t like large scale combat, then you go to or stay in the lower tiers. For those of us that want LARGE SCALE COMBAT back we have to move up, consolidate, and STACK!
The population is getting really bad when you can find more players to fight in EotM than in WvW…… That’s why many of the Worlds are attempting Blackouts to fix what the dev’s neglected and broke.

Hahahahaha. We all know you know that T1 seems dead because your guilds are all either legit taking a break before HoT or intentionally doing it to try manipulate the server status. 100% guaranteed that when HoT releases, BG, JQ and YB will have full queued maps.
Maybe Blackgate shouldn’t have resorted to push weeks/non push weeks to keep glicko balanced for the T1 servers, or “saved” JQ from collapsing last year if that’s what was going to happened if TW hadn’t moved over.
T1 is getting what they worked for, and deserves, to play by themselves.

You don’t have to be on the same server to play with your friends. Server only matters for WvW and if you want to play that then I’d stay away from TC. That place is toxic as hell.
- Idk what you think lower pop servers look like. My server can easily field a 50+ zerg in EB in EU, and then havoc/roamers here and there. We usually get 20-50 pugs on tag in SEA, then 1-3 guild groups fielding 10+ depending on if son/sot run (sotd always runs). OCX we’re ded sevr and we can still do 30+ on tag + havoc and 1 guild group lol. This is all assuming a tag ofc, it can get quite dead otherwise. It may not be the massive pop you’re used to, but it’s far from dead.
As someone who has recently been on dh I can say that this is completely false. Never saw a 50+ zerg during eu timezone. I saw zergs but never that big and all not on teamspeak and many uplevels. You know, those zergs made up of casual pve’ers that you see on every server. Ocx was completely barren wasteland. Sea time same as eu, lots of uplevel pugs not on teamspeak.
I’ve played in high and low tier servers and if the numbers this guy claims is true then dh would have been in tier 2 a loooooooooong time ago.
Your post history says you were looking for a new server back in early september. How long has it been since you’re on Dh? Do you realize we’ve received somewhere in the order of 15-20 guild transfers (including multiple daily raiding full zerg busting guilds) and a host of pugs since then? We received a ton of transfers within the past 3 weeks. A few matchups ago we lost to SBI twice in a row, last matchup we beat them by 40k. We’ve grown a ton, not only in semi-recent history, but within the past few weeks (we received two guilds like 3 days ago even lol).
Also we have a daily raiding SEA fights guild, how can you say we just have pugs who don’t get in ts? You don’t know what you’re talking about lol. I ain’t even including when sotd and son run.
I was on dh from December until end of Jan and was there during early 2014 as well. I never said you didn’t have a sea raiding guild. I just said the pugs were bad (don’t worry not just on dh). And those numbers, I didn’t see it. Sorry.

From my perspective. No bias towards any server since I’ve played on all three.
Can someone detail the guilds in T1 (for each server) during NA and the numbers they run?
BG:
OnS – when they run tagless its around 30 but recently their are running tagged more often and get 60+
KnT – blob guild on their own
GoF – 20-30 but almost always run tagged so 40+
ICoa – 10-20
REV – ~20
JINX – 20-30 and almost always run tagged not as popular as OnS/KnT so rarely get 40+ following them
DN – ~25 but are tagged quite often and get 40+ easily
JQ:
KA – full map blob
SF – full map blob on reset, full map blob when tagged, 20-30 when on their own but that happens like twice a week only
TW – map blob when tagged, ~20 when not
TC:
CERN: map blob
SE: 30-45 guild blob
vX: ~15-20
whole bunch of random guilds no one thinks twice about
Are fights blob vs blob or are guilds smart enough to run by themselves and not kitten jam every fight?
blob v blob more than anything. kitten jamming is necessary since all of JQ, some BG guilds (KnT and OnS mostly) and CERN from TC like to omniblob. There’s a reason why QT and IX left…….
Which server has the least number of NA and least amount of queues on reset?
All three servers had all 4 maps queued 30 minutes into reset (10+ on borderlands, 50+ for EB). JQ has the smallest NA.

Some friends and I were shopping around for a new server and SoS was one of our choices but now I’m hearing things about all the guilds leaving to go to T1 servers.
Anyone know what’s going on? Why are all the guilds leaving? Where are they going?
Does this mean Gold League is gonna have 2 (!!) dead servers in it?
Nice post history. You’re LITERALLY the only one on your server at any time of the day? Funny, I took a few screenshots just recently. First pic was from a few minutes ago (10am server time, not our peak population, just in EB not the other maps). Second picture (if it shows up, forum is glitchy) is from oceanic last night (the least populated time zone for most gw2 players, and look at the minimap, we still had 20+). Sure are a lot of you if you’re the only one!

Those screenshots were taken for another thread, I didn’t have to put any work into clicking the “choose file” button (which already leads to my gw2 ss folder). Reading your post history also wasn’t a lot of work. Indeed, demonstrating that you’re just a troll took almost no work at all, which means you’re pretty bad at it to be completely honest.
I’m willing to bet those screenshots showed your only force across all 4 maps. So if he prefers playing in the borderlands, it was most likely deserted like it is on most T7-8 servers. I see nothing wrong with his post history. Clearly this is an issue that has finally convinced him to make a thread on the forums. That doesn’t mean he’s trolling.
That is completely false. The first screenshot taken (iirc), the one taken at 9 something pm, we had 2 guild groups going in other BLs as well as a home bl defense zerg (not to mention multiple roaming groups/roamers).
The 2nd screenshot was oceanic where we have no guilds BUT do always have people in Dh BL defending as well as 2 havoc guilds that were going at the time (dm/rdh). During oceanic I’d say that’s not too bad. Regardless, even if it were true, that does categorically demonstrate that we aren’t empty, and that we have decent round the clock coverage. I don’t generally like to be so harsh and straight forward, but Dh lost a TON of people pre season 2 (seriously, a ton), and we do not need people scaring away potential transfers by lying on the forums.
I’m on DH and it was a dead zone that day other than that Bevr group. All the bl’s were empty of friendly and enemy forces. But its true, DH does have some SEA pugs (nothing compared to higher tiers though).
Is FA recruiting for the asian timezone? My friends and I have been thinking of transferring but its been extremely difficult getting any information about FA. This thread is several months too old.
