Lol the rangers you fight aren’t very experienced though the only problem with this build is that if a fast enemy runs away, there’s almost no way of catching up/finishing without a ranged weapon

If you’re using torch it’s not advised to use flame trap as well since fire does not stack intensively, only for duration. Because of this, I only use flame trap as it offers a lower cooldown but also a nice AOE

Because they are useless. Why not to take them? Because 80% of the rangers can not produce normal damage, can’t support, their pet dead all the time, and when it alive when, it aggro whole dungeon.

so what about the other 20%? they can produce normal damage, can support, their pet is alive and it doesnt aggro the whole dungeon. but still they are useless? kinda some contradiction in your post. all i read is hate or frustration. you either get owned by rangers all the time or you cant play one on your own..?

im happy that we run always with the guild, in 1650h playtime i never had to pug once so i never had to meet people like you ingame.
in our guild we run dungeon groups no matter what classes, we dont care, we take whoever got time and we always clear any dungeon without any problems in a more or less short time. even with groups that contain 2-3 rangers, works like a charm.

thats the great thing about gw2 but sadly there are still wannabe elitists like you are which mean they have to clear cof p1 in 10mins, 12mins is unacceptable and a waste of time and its only the rangers fault. but well i guess from your view its not possible to clear cof p1 in 12mins with a ranger in the group, probably not even possible at all, is it?

I play with my brother a lot (who is a Guardian) and always party with him as well as pugs. It happens maybe less than 1% of the time that the party actually cares too much about dps. One time a person even whispered my bro that I (a ranger) should be kicked and to be replaced with a warrior or guardian, so you know what, we just kicked him. These people are annoying and as long as they are in your party, you won’t do well, knowing that they have a personal grudge against your profession and are secretly watching you carefully and spelling out every single mistake you make.

If you still struggle then I suggest you use a wolf to cast Fear onto them or you could use some traps such as frost, muddy terrain or spike along with entangle makes it perfect to stay at the pillar for a very long time

Who cares about damage, it’s all about FUN!

But yes, the obstruction does ruin the fun

They would have to completely change the kicking skill from the #1 auto attack of the sword otherwise you will look stupid floating while doing a kick motion and hence would most likely be reported as a bug due to its awkward appearance
That’s how I believe is the only way to fix being rooted to the spot

Thanks all, and yes Champion of jormag instead haha. I’ve made the gay pony bow, always wanted to be a dragonslaying-rainbow shooting-clown ranger of tyria haha! I didn’t wait until the other loots disappeared in the right of my screen, actually i was shocked to see the spark and had a moment of disbelief,by the time i switch to my game log tab and took the screenshot,the loots has started to go down n disappear one by one.
