Glyph of Rejuvenation doesn’t seem to work on pets… The main heal only works on you and the minor heal only works on the pet when you are in range of them otherwise they will not get healed at all at distance.
wow… this is a huge unecessary nerf…
Edit: Signet of Wild generates AF way too slowly now, not even worth it anymore…

How are you trying to actively proc Ancient seeds? The skill that you would use to proc it all have cool downs. So based on which skill you used to proc it you know 10 seconds in to the cd its ready again.
Think to many players that once play wow have gotten to use to script and ui change they don’t know how to play other games as intended.
I mean really good players have internal clocks. Just as one should know their keybinds without looking at it one should have a feel for the timing in their rotations and not just spam stuff all of cd.
I would much rather they spend the time on creating a ui that shows boons on the ranger’s pet.
Because it’s not just you doing the knockdowns, dazed, etc… In WvW you’re constantly hitting people who are stunned and such and will proc ancient seeds meaning you don’t know when reliably it’ll be ready again.
I would also love to know when ancient seeds is ready so I could say use barrage when a static field comes up to proc up to 5 players
Not sure how much % dmg increase Grace of the Land actually is:
When you hover over the trait in chat, it says it’s 2% dmg increase per stack but the trait menu says 3%dmg increase per stack

Druid staff skill 2 is quite terrible, vine surge takes a millenia to cast and since staff 1(Solar Beam) has to finish its 3 hits before you can use other skills, it makes it incredibly hard to smoothly transition between skills. I think using any other skills should immediately break the cast time of Solar Beam because I often find myself mowed down and still casting solar beam and instantly having my other skills on a 3s cooldown due to its failed cast.
These are my prime concerns but other than that I’m quite enjoying playing cleric druid in WvW.

I’m really enjoying the glyphs but like others stated, AF is quite lame atm
Bristleback f2 basically won’t hit anyone unless they are on the same horizontal plane as Spike Barrage has to follow a parabolic path. I couldn’t hit someone in WvW and PvE who were at a lower slope just 1 metre from me
There’s no tooltip icon for the glyphs when traited with Verdant Etching so it doesn’t show that it also activates Seed of Life when used

It’s true with a lot of things. If it’s a separate entity that you can’t party with, then it will apply it’s boons ‘n’ buffs to the nearest allies. Spirits, pets, banners, turrets (traited), etc.
I’m not sure if it’s possible but can’t they make it so that you’re prioritised?
Hey guys, not sure if this has been addressed but how come in large density crowds like world events, for example, when my Jungle Stalker uses Might Roar, it’s not guranteed that I get 5 stacks of might even though it’s my pet. It seems the 5 people closest to the pet get the 5 stacks instead which I feel is unfair seeing how pets are apart of us, the ranger. This is also true with spirits and even though the radius is 1000, the people closest to the spirit will get their effects.

I’m not sure… It’s kinda odd how all our skills require physical contact/projectile then out of nowhere we start using magic which in my opinion, doesn’t fit well into the theme of rangers
Yes I would like at least 1 or 2 more blast finishers, not including the pet (Drakes) as it can only be activated during combat. We also lack stability other than our elite skill or Signet of the Wild (which has to be traited is utterly unecessary)

I’m really trying to help you here. The Warrior is that way, and that’s where you need to be. This is the pet class, not wanting to engage with the class mechanic is going to make you an even more underpowered version of what’s already underpowered.
Don’t do this to yourself.
I stopped playing my Thief because I didn’t like stealth play and that’s the class mechanic. Round holes square pegs are coming to mind. It’s not going to work if you don’t want to do what the class does, okay?

Take note from this guy. If you hate the pet mechanic a lot don’t roll ranger.. I like the pet mechanic since it’s quite unique hence rather love playing ranger despite that 1/20 chance of a failed f2 skill
I always facepalm when people say the ranger shouldn’t have a pet.
They don’t realise how much rebalancing, new trait and new skills it would require.
Who cares? it’s not my job I just want to be rid of a mechanic that increadibly frequently kittenes me off by not working properly.
It’s going to be at least a year before Anet will even consider removing pets are the chances are almost 0. I suggest you actually change classes if it annoys you that much
Now that the longbow has been buffed to the point of being equally as poor a weapon as the other Ranger weapons,
ISN’T IT TIME TO PUT THE RANGE BACK TO 1200 ON THE SHORTBOW?
Since there was never any claim of the shortbow being overpowered and the only reason was to make the longbow somehow more appealing. That is the only reason offered by a-net.
They mentioned this when they first changed the distance on shortbow that it was never intended to be equal firing distance as the longbow, it was just a bug they took way too long to fix, so don’t hold your breath.
Range should be increased to 1100 at least
Ranger skills on weapons feel so dull yet other classes have plenty of AOE’s which annoys the heck outta me

In PvP I generally use a sword/torch as my melee as it possesses a lot of evade skills and provides conditions. For power builds, you could use sword/warhorn
I also want to know the conditions and boons on my pet
You also can’t really use jade maw as an example… That fractals dungeon doesn’t require much skill and is quite simple with any class

You don’t judge one skill introduction to a general statement of Peters’. Variety of build options also refers to change in traits. The healing skill is merely an initial step to promote unpopular builds

oh no doubt Kai is very good. We already know that the warrior does much higher damage. What is your point? Damage and high vitality is what warriors specialise in. Whats your point? Also notice he is running with his own guild group who have been playing with each other for a very long time and are very well coordinated.

Rangers in WvW jumping puzzles are mean. Killed several players by knocking them off the cliff.

Yes the signet should be passive no pets and kill any targetted monster when activated, cooldown 2 seconds
My trap build rakes in bags. Run up to a zerg, triple traps, run to back line while attacking, entangle, traps again, works pretty well when you have over 2000 condition damage and 3000 armor.

I go with condition and do well, so perhaps you give it a go, maybe in sPvP or something to get the feel of it if you’ve never used it before

IMO it’s hard for rangers to run away from huge zergs as we really have no escaping skills
No one can run away from huge zergs except for thieves. Rangers have great escaping skills in lightening reflexes, Sword #2 and GS #3. Swoop has saved my life many times by using it to escape small melee’s I am losing.
Lightning reflexes don’t always work too well for me sometimes
Instead of going full length with it, there are times when I only move probably 2 or 3 steps when getting attacked
Sometimes quite annoying since you do not know when to swap your pet without a long cooldown

I play on TC too and have had several people want to run instances with me -AGAIN- and all I really play is a ranger (ill occasionally PvP or RP on my engi/ele, but I don’t PvE with them other than personal story), so idk why you’d be declined a group unless you’ve built up some infamy for being a bad player or something…
He said he’s never been denied into a group but would rather ‘change things up’, just for experience I believe

I run a condition ranger build and I love it
Of course there are people who would rather see huge numbers than multiple smaller numbers and that’s fine but there are also perfectionist who complain about any detail they see unfit
IMO it’s hard for rangers to run away from huge zergs as we really have no escaping skills
I love my ranger and pets because they couple quite well with my build and the traps I use compliment my pets (also it’s almost impossible to lose a 1v1 fight when you’re both downed, the pet heal is kinda OP lol)

The pet moving out of red circles won’t be implemented, probably because if your enemy camps in one, the pet would probably just do nothing but watch him
They’re not ignored issues, people seem to forget that fixing these issues isn’t something simple that takes a minute to do. Intense testing is required and one adjustment has to be done throughout a variety of circumstances including maps, actions, motion, etc…
So please, I know you’re not going to actually recheck back in 6 months, the time period is just too long and humans are just too curious.
So you are saying they have not fixed even ONE of these bugs?
By your logic, it has been more than 8 months to fix JUST ONE of these bugs because its so complicated and requires so much work. That means it will take them more than 80 months to fix them all?
What would make me think that they will fix ONE from this list within the next 8 months? Right, nothing! So you are absolutely on the spot! I will not check back in 6 months, i will just take my refund and leave end of the month.

2. Pet Aoe Survivability – This just requires more careful pet management, even if it does require more work. I’m sure if you’re bombarded with aoe’s you would die as well
7. Obstructed bugs only arose probably 2 months after beta and yes it’s quite annoying but it wasn’t something from the beginning. It appears to happen to other ranged weapons such as Guardian’s sceptre I think it was
8. I don’t know about the horn auto attack, can you add a description please
