we’re still having some events during primetime, but due to work and stuff like that it’s not always easy to make it happen :/ but we are trying our best to keep a present during the entire day
Awesome vid there Jathres, now I know how it looks like when we are pushing into someone^^ The reason we ran over the bridge was because there was 30-40 gandaras runing after us and the door was up to 70% already :P checked myself^^ so some of us ran over the bridge while other was hiding so we could sandwich them, which went pretty good
I wasn’t online so long yesterday, but the fights at Jerrifers at EB was fun aswell nice use of the bridge there YAK with the line of warding and sanctuary, kitten our stability was on CD >.<

Idarko, your primetime start’s really early, you guys start’s to push on all 4 borderlands at around 3pm after what we’ve experienced, we’re unfortunately lacking a bit of people at that time, but our guys normaly tend to be online later during the night, so why dont you guys join our primetime instead and stay a bit longer awake?
And as Phule said, I think it’s more a difference with the timezones than we like to PvDoor, because we’re always looking for fights for the most of the time, but there isn’t that many Gandarans online when we are doing our stuff
No queues at all Eno, just guilds that were organized to your surprise we wasn’t more than 40 that constantly changed maps

I’ve have to agree with TheGreatA there, we normally dont have any queues on any borderlands, but the last 5 days there have been a queue at AG border sometimes from around 8pm-11pm (UK time).
I’d say Aurora Started out as a really good WvW server, we was ranked as 10. After that a few guilds left and we dropped down to rank 23 at the lowest if I remember right. But after a huge reorganizing internaly in the server were the guilds that have been there from the start made some really good connections we moved a tier up. At this point we understood we had to unite even more. There was contacs between smaller guilds, randoms and medium sized guilds, as we didn’t have or do have any huge guilds. We came to the decision to make a server community webpage as TheGreatA said. We’ve also got our own mumble server with 200 slots for use. Atm. Aurora Glade have had a influence of some guilds from the lower tiers as we have been speaking a lot with them, and decided to make an alliance and effort to forge a new mixed server with both WvW and PvE.
Right now we have a really good communication between all the guilds and even those who dont have guilds due to our own server webpage that hit over 800 registered at the exit of 2012! With that amount of users our community forum team have rebuilt the site to make it easier to use, a great thanks to them!
As mentioned before, queues happens very rarely here on AG, there might be you will stumble upon a queue at Aurora Glade borderland and Eternal, but hey, which servers dosn’t have a queue at those borderlands now and then? At least the queue’s i’ve been to have never lasted longer than 10 min, and that’s when it’s at the longest. It variets from 30s -10 min during some hours.
Our gameplay style is to unite the people on AG, we’ve also made a server alliance guild for tactical use (f.ex for commanders to say stuff to people in WvW as it very often happens we get suppressed for “spamming”). And as Piso mentioned above, Gandara seem to have the upper hands on number from around 16pm-22pm while AG got a decent night force, not a huge one, but it normally consists of guilds so we are focusing on moving around while we use voice comms.

hehe, you guys were rly lucky with the timing aswell as we were just taking out the 3 or 4 trebs the germans had placed and cleared them and the DZ in the lord room, and we got too late to get back to hills :/ but was a fun night plz let more of them come, but hopefully on another borderland! Hehe
It have been a great start of the week! Really looking forward to the rest of the week Last attack on AG border from DZ and Gand was huge!! So many golems from Gandara :O think I saw like 5 Omega golems? Well at least my 4g spent on Hills I would say were effective used even though we lost hills and bay since the golems would be worth 25g So not a complete waste^^

I must say all of the servers have some rly good guilds when it comes to the fighting skills rly looking forward for today and the rest of the week as it’s then AG’s fighters are at their best!
So yeah, looking forward to a LOT more good fights in the comming days!!

Great fights in AM border today!! Had loads of fun with my guildies hunting for the AM’s and JS. Fun fighting you [Army], even though you outmanned us 1 to 5? We managed to have some decent battles! Good times!

My favorite opponent in 2012 was AM (Abaddon’s Mouth) with especially [ARMY]. The reason for this server is because we always was outnumbered and I actually enjoyed it. It wasn’t the 1 to 10 way, but more like 1 to 3. Which I find really fun!
I also have another favorite opponent and that is Jade Sea with [PHX] those guys always had some nice magic up in their sleeves!
This is servers from the EU as I play on an EU-server myself.
I’ve had loads of fun the past months in gw2 and I hope the rest of you guys aswell Hope for a lot more fun in the next year!
Hey Steelo We’re practicing as much as we can. Unfortunately our event’s are only at late nights, so before that you will see us spread out and doing random stuff^^ thanks for the tips Must say you guys have given us some nice fights!
Hey, I’m from AG. Our main core from all time consists of FURY, UNTY & BaQ as the biggest WvW guilds from the start. In the last two weeks we’ve got three more WvW guilds on our server which are realy giving us some good help, this new guilds that’s easy to see in WvW are KISS and LoE from GH-server, and VAR from your server. As I’ve said before, we would welcome you with open arms nad could use the extran man power as it looks like we will skip T6 and jump straight up to T5 on friday. And as I’ve said to you guys before, I think, that you are welcome to join our server. We also have a server mumble (200 slots atm.) and our own communitywebsite with over 500 registered users.
I have no idea about the other servers, dont think we have met Piken before but I know they have some guilds there from warhammer, which I dont know the name of. Underworld is a decent server aswell I think, can’t remember any specific guilds on their server atm. but sure there is some there aswell

Hey, last week we’ve been doing a lot of organizing in the server, more people are starting to use our server mumble. We’ve also recieved 3 WvW guild on AG this week, KISS & LoE from GH and VAR from WSR. Have to agree that this week is a bit boring and we’re looking forward to next week. But there is still nice battles in WvW during the evening Keep it up guys!!
I just gotta ask a question about the JS population/guilds, have you guys seen about 30-40 people in a guild called something like Phénix, with the guildtag PHX? and another with guildtag RED, with the same amount of number.
Just think it’s a bit wierd that we got completly steamrolled by them last week where we faced them, and now I see they are completly getting rolled over. Might be that they are just a guild who does events during week-days or they just transferred away. At least good luck to you guys! Hope we will see FSP next week! Look forward to it! would nice with a rematch against DL again, as we’ve been switching spot with them for two or three weeks now^^
I have to say that the numbers you are putting up here, is really not accurate at all. We had about equal numbers at this fight, this is something I’m pretty sure about since I participated in it. When I’m speaking for the players from Unity, we didn’t took it serious, we were only 8 people and came there to enjoy the fight, which was something we did Was an epic battle. But you guys wasn’t only 15 people. you were more like 60 aswell SOE tried to ambush our trebs multiple times with 20 people from the back, while you had a giant zerg inside^^ Great coordination by you guys there, hope there will be more fights like this
I’m not comming to GH, I’m staying at AG. Next week when we go a rank up, we will probably be outmanned. And I like the AG community

If we look to the past AG got outmanned a lot vs GH and we still beat you guys. So I wouldn’t say we only win due to number, because we have proven that before Keep this post clean

There is another server I think you guys would be really satisfied with, Aurora Glade. We normally dont have any queue. If we do, it’s at our main borderland where the queue normally are only at 2 min. We have our own community website, server mumble with 200 slots. And we got multiple guilds who do really well in WvW! We’ve been up at rank 10 before, but atm. we have fell down to rank 18. This is because we lost some russian WvW guilds who transferred to another server. The big WvW guilds that are still here got the same proposition to transferr, but we said no.
Hope you will consider this server aswell! At least hope a few of you will check us out
I really feel sorry for you guys. But things will work out for you You will find the core players and core guilds, maybe some new one will blossom? If not you are always welcome on the other borderlands. I know that both GH and AG (which I come from) Would love to get you guys with us. Remember last week when we fought against WSR and GH. I personally would LOVE to see the AG WvW guilds together with KISS, MARA, MDA, and WvW all together on one server. I think we could do GREAT stuff together and jump up loads of rank, perhaps even to the top??
