Shout out to EoW for some nice fights yesterday, and a special shout out to VII for some awesome skrim’s yesterday!
Great fun for us to meet such a good guild as you guys, really impressed by your tight movement and especially about how good you guys are at focusing ur dmg. And ur thiefs, kitten , think those two are the most skilled thiefs I’ve seen in this game tbh!
Was some really intense fights for us down at the windmill, were pretty surprised that we did so well against you as we did (in our opinion atleast).
Hope you guys enjoyed it aswell, and really looking forward to the official fight on monday now!!

Btw, what happened to RoP, DIE and BloS? Remember all 3 of this guilds fueled 20-40 people on a daily basis when we first met FSP.
Last times I’ve only seen DIE with 10max and not a single RoP guy, BloS I saw yesterday with less then 10 aswell. What happened with this three guilds? Been consumed by other guilds? AoA and Kale? Just wondering as both those guilds have dropped heavily in numbers, and those two have gained a lot of people after our first meeting for some months ago.

Only way to get to fight you guys without u WP’ing away or running away… even capped you keep during primetime yesterday… after our meet with you(PunK), we were really happy that we swapped over to EB to get some fights after trying to chase Kale in AG border, just had to wait out the queue so we got all our 20-25 into EB instead of just around 15 which we were at our only engagement in this matchup >.<, but they wiped a few times and as normal they swapped map. Found them in EB after we found you guys, wiped them once and as usual again, it seemed like they called it for the night or swapped border…

(with the WP’ing I dont mean PunK, but mostly the rest of FSP… havn’t had the pleasure to fight PunK more then one fight in this matchup yet)

There might have been a rumor you loot would include a precursor or perhaps it is just not smart to run into a big enemy group.
Wasn’t there so of course can neither confirm nor deny these theories.

Been getting used to be chased by 10+ FSP whenever I solo roam when we’re not having guild raids. Dont think they like our guildtag anymore Taco, we should go into our über guild instead when roaming!

I think “Dranul.2094” has the right mind set with his last comment and most FSP Guilds have a very similar one.

Still waiting for the first FSP guild to do what FIRE and TUP normally do when 1 guild is fighting Only guild on FSP I saw did this was FSV.

@Syndz, gotta say that actually surprised me a lot that GH have that many players during primetime :O the PPT game mostly comes for all our raiding guilds aswell, but we have some smaller community events/guilds etc. that you know about that like to defend. But still surprises me a lot that GH is down at 16th? while AG is up at 13th? and we still got space for moving mostly around on all maps during primetime :P

As for the suggested mid tier EU, I still think this is a bad idea. For me it would be great, as I’m already in a mid tier server and I wouldn’t have to transfer, but for other guilds that would still have to find a server would be impossible. There would just be too many queues. For example Gunnar’s Hold, which is placed last in the silver leauge would only have place for 1 europian guild. There are also servers with loads of people already there, like AM, Gandara, AG and BB.

Are you sure there would only be place for 1 EU guild on GH now Syndz? :S Almost find that hard to believe when we can still move 20-35man groups around 3 maps on AG. We normally dont have a bigger nightpresence then 15-20 people either, and normally get most of our points during primetime.
On resets we normally get 3 borders queued, but every other day it’s only EB. Even today it was only EB that was queued, except for a little time when FIRE, TUP, NP and pugs tried to get into RoS border as that was the borderland all the FSP guilds ran to after getting wiped off every other map that our guilds had been to :P

The only “big” problem I could see by stacking so many GvG guilds in the same league is that the windmill area will be SO busy! In the matchup we had last week, AG vs ER vs AR. It was almost impossible to get a GvG going if you hadn’t talked to all the guilds on all the servers. As it was 4-5 GvG’s going on each day :P

I’m sure most guilds would prefer silver league because the mid-tier servers probably have better communities than the weakest servers. However, there is a big problem with the silver league servers. First of all it looks like there will be 1 french, 0-1 spanish, 3-4 german and only 4 international servers in the silver league. There aren’t enough good german guilds to fill all those servers so some international guilds would probably have to transfer to a german or french server. I doubt many guilds would be ready to do that besides VoTF and Scnd. Also, the international servers which will likely end up in silver league already have some queues. As far as I know AG, UW and gandara have a lot of pve players which means that the new updates will probably make the queues even worse. In bronze league the guilds would be able to spread more evenly since there are 7 international servers and queues are shorter.

I think that all guilds on gw2gvg.com should be asked these 3 questions before deciding anything else about the gvg league:
Would you transfer to/stay on a server that’s in silver league?
Would you transfer to/stay on a server that’s in bronze league?
Would you be able to transfer to a german or french server?

queues on AG isn’t that bad mostly it’s just 1 border that’s queued, sometimes 2 So still lot of open spots, and I’m pretty sure it’s the same on all the other mid tiers servers aswell.

Dont think the latency should be any problems. I’m sitting in Australia and playing in EU servers and dont have any problems at all. Know a lot of EU people that plays on NA no problem there, and we also have some US players on our server and no problem for them either. So latency shouldn’t be a very big issue.

I wouldn’t call AG a big nightcapping server^^ I was a part of the nightcapping today, my morning/daytime here in Australia. We had 10-15 people swapping maps all the time when I was online :P Wouldn’t call that heavily nightcapping, last week we fought Elona which had about 2 groups of 40-70 people running around at night, and Augury had around 2 groups of 30-50 people running around at night :P

I admit AG had a huge nightcapping crew before, but that was when we had KISS here which normally fuled 20-35ish players during the night, and KISS’s WvW players have now transferred over to SoR in NA to play there so they ain’t here anymore either.
But as Oron said, it seems like FSP gives up much more easily this week then you used to do. Just take example from reset yesterday, we in FIRE were on EB and fighting GoT guild a lot of the time, they started out with 30-40 ish it looked like when we were around 20-25 + some pugs now and then, due to PuG commander DC’d and had to requeue, so when they found us they followed but we wiped them 2-3 times and after those 2-3 times they become like 15 people, after just 1 hour into reset…
And as it looked like on the borderland maps, that probably were the same stuff happening there, except for those that were on AG borderland from FSP.

As I said yesterday, FIRE will be raiding from sunday – thursday, give me, Muffasah or Malkithe a wisper and we’ll tell you what map we’ll be going to. Running mostly 20-25 people each day, sometimes 5 less or 5 more.

We are also looking for GvG training this week to train/check our recruits, builds, compositions etc. etc. etc. dont by shy! We dont bite you might just get burned a bit…

If any FSP or RoS guilds wanna be on the same map as FIRE this week, wisper me and I’ll let you know were we are going, we’ll be running 20-25 people each day ish, except saturday, no raid then

That’s true, I just remembered the time before there when GH met AG when we still had KISS, which normally fueled just as many people as VcY and HoB does, just that KISS had event’s like 2-4 times a day :P while the others have 1 time a day and not every single day either :P
But I’m glad you understood what you ment. Pretty happy GH got more people to fight against, loads of nice guilds to fight there. Also I saw that after the guilds joined you, you guys pretty much smashed UW, while when we fought UW and Gandara it was a very very tight matchup, so will be interesting!

I’d like to talk about dividing the ladder.

There’s some disputes about what “size” is best for GvG’s, and honestly they all have different things going for them. The problem comes when a 15v15 based group doesn’t want to do 10v10 (very common) because it affects the ranks for all sizes.

If it’s divided, that sense of ranking protection should calm a bit if a guild could be #1 20v20 but #5 in 10v10. They would still be the best in their category of choice while still being able to branch out.

This seems like the only choice if the scene wants to support all sizes rather than morph into one blob. One size of GvG’s would ultimately be a mistake and lead to unneeded exclusion of many guilds.

Not sure if that’s the biggest problem. My guild is saying no to 10v10 GvG’s because we would have 10-20 people sitting out and waiting to play. So we would rather do raiding at that time. But 15v15 is acceptable, atleast for us.

Thank you VoTF for the GvG yesterday, was a really big challenge for us.
Glad we had this fight as we could so easily see stuff we have to improve on!

Dont worry UW, it will only get worse during monday – friday. If you put up a bit to much resistance during primetime, half of them will log off to go to sleep, and only to wake up at 2am to PvD all the way untill 11am… you got a “great” week ahead of you, so good luck!

Also, SLAY, if you kill them to many times, they 60+ blob will even WP away even if you run in a group less then 15 people…

Very good reset and I’m so happy we got two servers which I’m pretty sure got better coverage then us! More to fight against and a bigger challenge! Keep the fights coming the entire week!

Living Story and random match-up is what happened. The combination of those 2 has pretty much made every pug we have only log onto EB and even there if someone cool is leading.

That sucks, pretty much what we had last week, was almost only our guilds that were out and running, luckely we havn’t lost so many people this week to the PvE patch, but still less then what we normally have during off-peak.

We don’t have the people to fill the maps. So the guilds on the borderlands joined EB for a minute. Most equal fights are on the borderlands so we went back there.

What’s happening with FSP, 1-2 months ago you guys could pressure all 4 borderlands, now it barely looks like you can keep pressure on EB and another borderland, + maybe a small group on the second :S

We normally stick to borderlands aswell, but was only Kael on AG borderland and they left pretty quick yesterday aswell :/ so we had to change, and saw that EB was open and had heard PunK and DW were there, but when we arrived both had left there aswell :/ So we decided to Omega rush your keep as there wasn’t many people to fight on the map, and hopefully we could draw some people from the others maps and over to EB. Seemed to work pretty well as both FSV, PunK and the FSP zerg WP’d in when we got to the lord room :P

If all the guilds TUP have faced accept’s the scores I’m pretty sure TUP will go up to nr. 2 or perhaps 1.
Only if all the matches they’ve done get accepted and placed though :P

What EP did to Agg have become very familiar in the mid tier in EU. Almost all guilds in the EU mid tiers that does GvG’s, run that type of setup as EP does, it’s very effective and a bit hard to counter, but all in all a good GvG between EP and Agg there.

No problem at all, it’s our unwritten law to let other guilds smush with other guilds when there is 1 guild vs another guild. We only engage other guilds fighting when asked for help or there is multiple guilds on the enemy side.
So does most of all the other WvW raiding guilds on Aurora Glade aswell, unfortunately, not all guilds and servers share the same view as us others.

This wasn’t anything new when there is a patch tomorrow/today though! :P
