I came back…just to say…I’ve made it!!!!

Spent about 3hrs on the first day, 3 hrs the day before, and 1hr yesterday which finally, successfully jumped into the box!!!!

Still playable on Thinkpad T410 with NVS 3100M & i7-620M processor, including doing Troll’s End jp ^^

If you frequent wvw jps, you will find timed jp’s sense of urgency somewhat familiar

After witnessing the terrifying power of Princess dolls at PvE environment, I hate to imagine having to face WAVES of them during Toypocolypse event.

I’m playing GW2 on Thinkpad T410 with NVS 3100M graphic, mid-range wireless optical mouse on 2mbps mobile broadband connection. (my work requires me to travel a lot)

Yourself:
- schedule time for JP when you can focus for at least 1hr
- agreed with Wor, hv lots of patience

Game setting:
- set graphic to “best performance”
- set mouse sensitivity to maximum

Jumping :
- aim for the edge of the flakes instead of their centre, shave a few nanoseconds fr time taken on orientating yr toon to mid of flakes fr point to point
- use short jumps (press ‘jump’ key first, immediately follow by direction key) when negotiating the horizontal candy canes. You can control yr jumping dist by pressing & releasing direction key
- most floating mints require running jumps. make sure u run to the edge of the mint before pressing jump button to make it to the other point.
- For popping presents, personally I find it easier to jump diagonally to the right till second last column, then jump upwards.
- Watch out for wind when negotiating the giant candy cane before snowball trail. Pause for the wind to disappear if need to
- While watching out for giant snowballs, take note of red circles on the trail as well. I estimate there is 2-3 seconds window for u to get out fr the circles before u get knock off the trail by skritts
- During the home stretch, personally I find it easier to jump on the blue gift boxes (& a big candy cane in btw the blue boxes)

Last but not least, Don’t Give Up! I wish you success in conquering this puzzle

Can I suggest the JP, both clocktower & wonderland, to be available for a longer period of time (if possible, permanently)? Those who are unable to complete them (for now) will have the opportunity to do so at later date when they have enough practice & confidence. It will ease some pressure stem fr completing the puzzle that is available for limited time only.

I hv witnessed these ghastly Princess doll who made short work of branded & Ascalon ghosts at Blazeridge Steppes. I WILL never touch a gift if I’m alone in the area.

I believe it is bugged, but it’s a good thing. Going against toy zerg (soldiers & ventari) is such a rush

I feel both Mad King Clock Tower & Winter Wonderland JP are awesome! Sure, Mad King’s is harder due to the somewhat vague path during first half, & the brag right from completing it. But it is too short & the intensity lessen during the second half where the jumping part became easier.
As for Winter Wonderland, I think the right word to use is ‘simpler’, as the jumping points are clearer. The redeeming points are the jp is thankfully lengthier, multiple starting pathways & the intensity never let down till the final leap (I screamed “roll FASTER u stupid snowballs!!” during first few tries).

I let my 8 yrs old nephew had a shot at the Bell Choir after I had done one round. He hijacked the laptop for next 1 hr & managed to help me get 2 Bell Choir achievements while doing so XD

Agreed with above that it depends on yr base HP. Playing as Pow/Crit Thief is pretty intensive near the end of the jump XD
