Is DB falling apart already?

Kinda getting the feeling they’re outmanned right now.

We were ticking +460 twelve hours ago, so no, I don’t think we’re falling apart. TC is still stronger during NA prime on weekdays, I think, but I haven’t really noticed any drop in activity on our end.

Except it’s guild mission/living story night for most guilds so yes tonight there is a drop

DB is doing fine, they dont have high NA numbers so yeah we are doing better during NA times.

We actually have good NA numbers just not on a couple days a week. Been like that for a while. I expect DB to be out in full force tonight

We’re you guys able to get ANY skills off? Literally, everybody in our server had Terrible lag. We couldn’t use any skills except 1. Yet, we saw a lot of walls by either TC or DB. A lot of people in FA rage quit because of that.

Nevertheless, I was frustrated but had fun.

I was able to get off every single skill with no lag. Was running 60 fps in Lords Room too.

It was very laggy. I think I teleported several times ahead of the zerg for some reason and every time I hit Hammer 2 it looked like I was dunking before I jumped in the air, if you can even picture that.

TC pushed hard on DBBL hills. Maybe another day.

I think your entire zerg ported and ran to TCBL north camp and just came at our 20 man. Yeah we can run pretty fast. You kept chasing us though like you were gonna kill us. AT didn’t show up until your group chased TFV all the way back to Guild Wars 1.

Honestly though, once we settle out of first place, that’s where the magic really happens on TC. The fun starts, the good attitudes show up, the real fighting happens. First place lends itself to snarkiness (in game and forums) and boredom. Then the fairweathers flee when we have a changeup (like ths DB entry)….and the cycle repeats.

I don’t personally want, or care, about 1st place. I just want fun. If we lose the matchup and we have fun…so be it. Of course winning is fun too, in its own right, but I don’t think you have to be in 1st place to have fun. The first couple weeks of the KN/FA/TC matchup was perfect, imho. Each server kinda had its own time of day that they would dominate, so no one got disheartened.

I ust wanna fight giant zergs.

That’s all that’s fun to me in this game.

So, I just started messing around in wvw this week because of the monthlies and because I noticed that we were steadily winning every week. I had no desire to do anything with wvw before this, hate PVP, ugh!

But oh my God you guys rock! Yesterday i took the day off work so I could play wvw all day and. 12 hours later I had to force myself to log off well after bedtime

I have no idea how the commanders rotate around but I have noticed certain commanders on at certain times. As such, on EB I’d like to give shout outs to Britsu (my fave commander), Actioncat, Mayoken and whoever was leading last night from 9pm to 12ish EST (brain foggy after so much pvp). You guys are what makes this so fun for me. You lead by example and you actually make me want to follow you around and die all the time. Awesome. Keep up the good work!

I’ve got to be honest. This matchup between FA, TC, and DB was going to be epic. Things would have been even, and it would have just been fun WvW. It’s a shame that Bored Asian T1ers had to come in and turn it into a boring match up of waitig until everyone goes to sleep and then flip their stuff.

Happens all the time. I rolled with [NNK] , [TFV] , [wiley] and [KUSO] this morning and flipped all FA BL in 25 min thus morning while eating my cereal and getting ready for work

That seems to be the trend. NNK is big enough to do what they want at night which means the other two servers are at a disadvantage.

With a little more challenge to them, this tier might be a lot closer.

That’s funny, because every night I see FA attacking TC and running scared from DB.

The only way this matchup will have any resemblance of balance is if FA get over their petty obsession with beating TC, and try to fight DB.

Observations from last night defending DBBL….

Both TC and FA were in force during NA timeslot….I believe both [TSL] and [OSTB](or was it [OTSB]?…cant remember) from TC and a LOT of [HOPE] from FA were there. We held off TC and they just left. And then the wierdest thing happened. FA forces started to get bigger as NA timeslot went away (well, im on CST usa). I logged around 1AM and FA was still pestering us. I saw [PRO] in decent numbers as well. Im still trying to figure out FA’s NA coverage hours on strength. Must be mostly pacific NA?

Tonight was the craziest night I have ever had on WvW. Between the skill lags, AC cart arrows reigning down terror, and flipping back and forth between our home BL Bay and Hills…man

That 3 way is redonkulous….FA had like 30+ in our hills keep and were outmanned cause TC came in with like 50+

Witnessed some cool sneak attacks from TC on tcbl bay…or was it FA BL?? Cant remember…almost didnt spot you all with those golems on inner north gate..

How is the skill lag here?

I’m being absolutely serious. Whenever I defending against zergs with my Arrowcart Backpack :X , I would lag out and DC. I just now DC’ed twice in a row trying to help defend FABL Bay. Anyone else experiencing this in this tier so far?

Lol if you think KN will hold their lead throughout the week. They are a kittening ghost town in everything but SEA primetime throughout the weekdays. The same thing happened last week and Mag won by the end.

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the skill lag and DC-fest in Tier 2. Remember, you created this yourself by dragging more guilds into your servers. I feel bad for FA since they’re getting the crap end of 2 other servers’ bandwagons.

I was not expecting us to shoot to #4 overall after the first week.

Being a DB native that just recently started incorporating his gameplay time in wvw…im glad that we as a server were able to bring some competitiveness during NA primetime in t2…as it was not as strong as it was while we were in t3 (again, take note that these are just my observations from only 2 weeks of solid wvw gameplay dedication). That being said, this is my first time in t2. I have never fought more fierce competitors as the ones from TC and FA. My hats off to you guys for bringing it.

Tldr…im excited for tonights reset and look forward to fighting alongside you as friends or arrowcarting you to death as foes

May this night’s reset, and the week following, bring many lootbags and badges for all

For groups that “20 man zerg” a supply camp….

It is pretty easy to flip a camp in under 30 seconds. After 4min buff expires…that is.

Groups can flip camps at will without opposition even knowing about it.

I hear there are these things called red circles. I dont think you are supposed to stand in those….

Making seige stronger is a good move.

I might have to cut back my w3 hours. Been on 4 hours of sleep every day since reset. Im not built like that anymore…. :[ And I see red all the time….like….when I go to sleep after defending my bl from the red seas during NA primetime. And even when I wake up I log on to check the score in the morning while eating breakfast and my nightmares flash back to life after seeing a big globe …a majority of it being red.

Sorry DB! The matchup thread usually turns out like that once the weekend is over and people are stuck at work. I hope you can at least get some entertainment out of it!

I want to know detailed history and a background of all wvw guilds from both TC and FA….double spaced. Served with oatmeal raisin cookies and a glass of strawberry nestle quik milk. And some red bull….cause it is shaping up to be another all nighter for me…

Uhhh..pretty sure I saw sprinkles of FA blue dots on our BL as well as a lot of TC green dots on our BL during late NA timeslot.

One thing I did see was….seas of red. Endless…seas.
