RtL 20s on hit and 40s with no hit,way over the top. How about Rush in Warrior (20s CD and 1200 Range), Whirwind Blade (8s CD 600 Range).
I lol’d. Now try to count how much spells do you have with attunement swap.
20 spells with possibility to swap whenether you want (excluding recently changed attune) against 10 spells (5+5) with 10(or 5 with trait) seconds cd.
Dagger in offhand also gives you 2 seconds AOE stun and 1 sec evade+blowout.
You still want to compare ele and warrior, my dear rabbit? And No, I did not say War is OP, just a simple comparision how RtL is difference to Rush skill in Warrior. Now, Eles take the hit, but it would be no wonder all similar skill will take the hit later due to after Eles, there will be another victim for this matter. Hugely a direct hit to ALL the BUILD, even in PVE.
The only thing they did with rtl is that now you should THINK when it should be used and when it shouldn’t. If you’re not using it mindlessly to just move faster – you should be okay with it.
Signet of Restoration: Passive heal slightly reduced: Another Hit to our weak already defensive, make us now has to go even more Defensive just to SURVIVE.
You don’t even know how much did they reduced passive heal and you’re already SCREAMING. “OH MY GAWD THE NERFD MAH HEAL NOOO”. Why do you act like a little kid?
Cleansing Waters: Now removes 1 condition with a 5s CD. In PvE, it is not bad of a hit. In PVP it is a Huge Hit. Come with this, I would like to see Condition not flying everywhere in PvP, pls
While the other classes carry it, you’re whining.
Nice Job Anet, you just kill ELES, not just bunker but ALL the VIABLE Build out there. Remember why we have to go BUNKER in the VERY FIRST PLACE.
I lold so hard. With such a small amout of information about nerfes at all you are just yelling like a baby.
They should have done it much earlier. So you should thank them.
Honestly? You seem to be acting like a little kid, with the attitude presented in your post… just sayin’.
Ahh.. completely gutted ele’s. Well, it was fun while it lasted, I enjoyed playing such a unique and diverse class (compared to other mmo’s). Seems Anet is no different than any other game company out there, they just nerf nerf nerf anything that’s remotely fun. I’m disappointed because I really was enjoying this game, oh well.
cof speed runs are the problem, not zerker gear…
Gunbbang is my favorite on SBI, he’s very good at leading for open field fights. He’s the only one who stacks might before fights and I like that. He’s a real friendly guy and communicates well on TS.
Bannok is a god kitten steam roller when it comes to taking keeps/towers, just a karma/xp train when he’s on. He loves to flank and he’s good at it. He doesn’t use TS and still plows through kitten without it.
Grundlebad is pretty good, his attitude is a bit bad though. He acts entitled and generally is full of negativity, talks down to everyone, refuses to command at times etc. But he is good at commanding the zerg.
If they aren’t working on an expansion by now, then I doubt we will see an expansion for quite some time. Development on such large additions to games takes years.
Keep up the excellent work Anet.
Guild Wars 2: If you manage to stay in game long enough and avoid the BSOD’s, we’ll just randomly disconnect you – oh we’ll make sure it’s right before you take a keep so you miss out on all that lovely XP. 3 out of 5 crashes/disconnects today have been right before my server kills a lord at a keep, denying my xp.
Get what you pay for I guess, no monthly sub = terrible servers/code. The only modern game that has issues from the 1990’s.
I doubt it will happen. They haven’t even added guild halls yet.
Hell, they havent even added guild wars, to Guild Wars 2.
I’m also experiencing frequent crashes. I believe I’ve pinpointed it down to nvlddmkm.sys – but I’ve reinstalled drivers and still crashing.
so since last post i have yet to crash at all. the main change that i have done is limiting the fps to 60 and refresh rate to 60 as well as the native change in the video settings. also vertical sync.
Strange something like that would fix crashes?
I’ll give a shot.
Did messing with your RAM settings help elpeter?
I’m having the same issue and I will fill the entire front page of this forum with people having the same issue to show you that this is a problem with your game.
So today I actually got a bluescreen (usually the screen just goes black and I have to reboot manually).
The crash seems to be coming from nvlddmkm.sys. Now, I’ve reinstalled my drivers after using Driver Sweeper to completely remove everything before I reinstall – and guess what?! Yep, still crashing.
I’m at my wits end here. Should I just quit this game because my modern hardware is just not good enough for Anet? rolls-eyes
Getting real old.
Having the same issues. Hopefully Anet can acknowledge something is wrong, instead of blaming the user’s hardware.
This problem is affecting many players. the issue clearly lies within GW2, it’s not an ATI problem, it’s not an NVIDIA problem, it’s happening to players with both types of cards.
It seems to get progressively worse. It first started out happening maybe once a day. Now it’s happening every few hours.
I have seen this exact issue many times. It’s obviously a bad video card.
No way that every person on this forum reporting this problem, suddenly has bad video cards. Absolutely no way.
Just because it’s only in GW2 does not mean GW2 is the problem (I’ve had OCs that were perfectly fine EVERYWHERE but GW2, including P95 blend for 20+ hours).
Makes zero sense. Basically you’re saying, IT IS GW2.
Just because it’s only in GW2 does not mean GW2 is the problem (I’ve had OCs that were perfectly fine EVERYWHERE but GW2, including P95 blend for 20+ hours). Maybe instead of kittening and blaming it on the devs, you should post some info and ask for help. GW2 puts loads of stress on your system, so if there is even the slightest bit of instability, it will crash.
There are major optimization issues with the game engine atm, but daily BSODs and crashes suggest (quite strongly) that your system is not stable.
Take a look around the forums, I’m not the only one having these issues. My system is solid as rock son.
This is a bit ridiculous, okay? I haven’t had crashes or BSOD’s since I ran Windows 95/98/XP – 15 – 20 years ago.
Every. Single. Day. I will crash / BSOD at least once. GW2 is the ONLY game I have had this problem with. All I do is WvW, maybe it’s a problem within WvW? I don’t know, you’re the developer, you tell me.
All my drivers are up to date, I stay on top of keeping my rig up-to-date like white on rice, you got me?
I’m not overheating, I run Core Temp and MSI Afterburner to monitor my temps AT ALL TIMES.
Yeah, I’m upset because this is absolutely unacceptable, tired of this kitten. Tired of crashing right in the middle of a fight.
Having this problem also. First time I’ve ever had a problem with my rig, in any game. Infact this is the first time this rig has crashed period. It’s like my video card dies and I have to hard reset my computer. It’s not my power supply, my psu puts out more than enough juice for this card.
The strange thing is, I’ve been playing GW2 for about a week now, and this problem just started occuring today, twice I’ve crashed today, with zero crashes in the week before today.
I’m not overheating, I run Afterburner and Core Temp to monitor my GPU/CPU. I’m running the latest NVIDIA drivers for my card.
Reading thru these replies, apparently nothing can be done about this.. just reporting that I’m also having these issues and it’s quite ridiculous if you ask me — GW2 is supposed to be a AAA game and I’m having crashes like I’m playing on my Compaq Presario in 1998 with my awesome 3DFX card.

Strange, I haven’t had a problem using Afterburner with GW2.
