i just hope allie that are expectation of the ranger will come true. that the redesign of the ranger will improve that new ranger and will still feel the same as it does know but improved by a lot biggest problem is the pet i don’t want my pet removed its a part of the ranger but the pet mech needs a lot of attention mostly in wvw the pet is an extended of our being and i think mo st people want it removed because they don’t see the utility anymore something that i do understand. our f1 – f4 are pretty much useless in large scale event like wvw pets dies to quick and there is no chance to use pet ability proper enoughin pvp you see pet use more often then in pve or wvw. and when you do use them its often too late and didn’t achieve what you wanted
also i personally think that the redesign should happe step by step not one big ranger patch rather progressive patch to see how people will react to it

- a blast finisher on maul gs 2 would be nice so we can blast waterfields
-more active condition removal
-signet or shout sharing ( more support for allies )
-the ability of using pets skills in zerg fights
-easier access to stability + allies sharing
-more overall survivability
-remove and replace unpopular traits (forum should have a lot ideas)
- new weapon if it will ever comes nature themed ofc but aoe/support

Goal of Proposal
improve ranger in wvw so people would not look down on us like a useless class.
yes we excel in skirmish but some of us ranger want to be good in group fight kitten well i want to be able to join wvw with ranger.
i want to be able to support my team not be liability i want to be able to use my pets skills in zerg fights
some of our pet skills already have aoe effects howl on wolf to state an example.

risk to improve a class that i love and play over 2k hours i see none.

i play my ranger as a melee in wvw i tried different builds and melee support i what i personally want for our rangers granting vigor and fury among other boons give us skills to be able survive in zerg fights (i use signet of stone for the biggest inc) and gs is doing well leap and block skill.
axe main hand for the aoe dmg. but yes we lack in 1 of the aspect philosophy support our allies!!!
and pets that have the potential of being a great part of us in wvw and can’t not be used for the several reason you have seen here on this forum. (but people should be able to play ranger on their bows as well without being liability to the group)

hello fellow gw2 players.

i am edges of getting mad and throwing my pc out of the window. so before i do that i’ll give it a shot here

i am getting black screen since a few months yes months nothing can fix it seems i tried everything in my knowledge reboot windows buy new gpu reinstall the game (several times) the anti fxaa stuff and so on. i am really tired of this black screen its annoying
i like to play wvw and i do command very often on my server and and having dc or black screen while being in a zerg fight isn’t really an option sure it can happen but every 20min or so.(i don’t think so) if anyone can help i would appreciate it

my second problem is more recent but also very annoying i am getting chat dc
i can still play but not chat after while it reset it self . i can’t chat with guildies and team chat and whisper this kitten is happening every 5 min. -_-
so yes combine those 2 its making kick and scream. help me plz il post screen from my second problem. fyi i am a noob when comes to it

axe might be bad in pve. but its very good in wvw i use it in zerg fight meaning wvw . why it bounces between enemy’s adding to that sigil of fire and off hand a resto sigil. axe farms and let you able too tag much easier in the zerg. fyi personal opinion if you are still using bow in wvw and stay on melee train you are doing it wrong. take that from someone with 2k hours on ranger and commands pugs for over year on ranger. you can use bow in zerg if you are sniping and playing at as range ofc you won’t be able to tag alot tho with your bows. i use my bow in wvw when i am roaming but in zerg fight 9/10 times you see me wielding gs axe/axe or axe/warhorn. axe/axe might sounds weird but trust me its fun combined with offhand trait. and deals up 5k dmg and no i am not using zerker.i use a pvt armor pvt weapons and zerker trinkets mix with pvt.

And we have a ranger pug commander!!!!!!!!!!

that ranger are not good in wvw. do you think i care?? hell no. i command and play my ranger how i want. your care about other opion i surely don’t play whatever you want to play i have all eighth classes played all in zeg fights but i still love my ranger because of the crappy mech as you call it.

i love to play ranger even people say they suck.
i just hope that anet will remove that bad publicity with upcoming updates.
and IF we get new weapon hopefully it will bit more like the gaurdain staff.
what i mean is that i hope it got some cc and support for the zerg.
i have some ideas about that too but won’t post it here yet.

with that of my chest ill get to the point what anet can do for rangers in wvw at the moment
i have compared blast finishers across the most played class in wvw gaurdain and warrior.
we still lack blast finishers yeah i now we got horn and i use it often

lets take warrior of example they have 2 blast finisher one on and horn one on hammer.in (most used build in wvw)
the hammer one recharged by adrenalin and be used every 10 sec
(horn 20sec) with trait i think
now the guardian same weapon skill2 4 sec recharge.

so why not make maul a blast finisher 6 sec recharge and for the love of god
the animation is bear attacking you and description is
‘attack your foe with force of bear’.
well that was my suggestion i hope you guys support this and that a dev reads this .

i am really tired of this crap why is every profession being upgrade while ranger is being downgraded or not even being improved. if you want to join wvw guild with your ranger forget it most guild well tell you to kitten off. if guys feels the same plz sign the petition down below with your thought on the ranger. Lets a F***** Difference.

all of you rangers know it. no this post merely is to get answer from anet its to let anet hear our voice we need answer and we need them now.

you can say whatever you want FSP ain’t dead yet. we still could use some more help of course. our server is doing pretty well against you 2. but yeah we lack numbers and willing commanders. a while back i transferred to sfr and the difference is numbers and guilds.the thing we lacked already worked on and taken care of.

i almost shed tear. i am really happy that all you guys above did wright that . the last week as pug commander. i have seen things happen on this server pugs and guilds working together and kicking major kitten . i can put my happiness into words that’s how proud i am to call fsp my home.

also the zerg cap is higher why?
its fun to command such big zerg but seriously if the server can’t handle with the lag put back the old zerg cap.

before i get the comment your stupid. i already know. i my defense i wasn’t commanding only 4 golems were mine. some peeps were alrdy busy making golems when i arrived.

so dear people don’t judge on something you know anything about.

Our guild has a guild leader that likes influence we have kept infl for months we had 1.1 mil 4 days ago.
and we are not wvw guild! we have our daily events. and our guild certainly isn’t a zerg its more highschool. we got emo , nerd and the cool people.
What i mean by that is we have pve part wvw part and pvp part .
Yes, i don’t know everyone in my guild
. but i am part of the wvw team and i know everyone there .
daily we got 80 peeps on team speak we got daily events we improve our bonds in our guild by doing guildevents. when we have wvw event we got 50 peeps or more. actually Dragons In Exile is the perfect example of what Anet wanted to create we are a community .
i don’t know why peeps keep saying that DIE is wvw guild because it isn’t.
myself and 5 other commanders are very active in wvw and that’s about it realy compared to other wvw guild we are tiny. all we got if i say it myself are capable active wvw commanders.

i agree we are rangers but everyone has same base range. that so lame gives us 1500 range and arrow pierce and make pet less squishy too

hi guys i made armor mix with tier 2 and 3. my slyvari is black i dyed the armor white but i can still the blackness of his skin . is that a armor bug ? or something
