Guild Wars 2

I noticed after the last update that the words in the Trading Post were distorted. I am attaching a screenshot that shows how it appears to me. The vendors do not do this. Does anyone know why this is or what causes it?

I have completed my achievements but noticed yesterday that the “world event” message is gone. I thought that was odd. I hope they fix this for you all

It has a Cantha feel to me . We shall learn soon ;-)

I did get the one in Malchor’s Leap. I actually started the achiev on a character that didn’t have it, so I swapped, went to the Leap and got that one. It didn’t trigger, so I started over. I don’t know. Guess I will try again.

Is the new achievement bugged? I have completed it and nothing triggered. I checked my achievements and it says 11/12. I retraced my steps and know I hit all 12.

Oh my goodness! It completed and it is crazy what triggered it. I came to Captain’s Retreat through the water on the wooden staircase (in the back area). Once I got to the top -it completed. How crazy is that? Thank goodness though! Thank everyone for all the help!!

Looks pretty complete to me. I’m looking at the wiki and it says:

Southsun Sightseer
Visit each waypoint on Southsun Cove and cross the bridge between Dappled Shores and Driftglass Springs.

You have all the waypoints and I’m pretty sure you would have crossed that bridge many times when exploring.

Have you done the jumping puzzle to get up on the islet in the NW corner? I don’t think it counts for anything , but you can reveal the area from the ground without actually getting up there. Maybe going into crab toss arena counts?

I did get the jp islet area. I am stumped. Perhaps it will just complete for me one day lol. I thank each of you for the suggestions.

You are sure you got all the points of interest for the map? There is one in a cave that looks like it is part of the big cave but is really a small cave at the north side of the island (entrance is near where the jumping puzzle starts) Just beware of the egg laying Karka & facesucker babies standing over the demolition guy there (never have seen anyone do this event yet either)

I checked against Wiki for the POI and it appears I have all of them. I checked against Duffy and it appears I have all the locations for sightseer but it will not complete. It remains at 85%. I’m at a loss. Thank you for the reply though

That is where I found the locations. Unfortunately, it still has not completed despite the numerous runs through each area. :/

I can’t seem to get my completion for this either. I did some research and there are a few forums/websites that give the areas. I revisited each one but it still hasn’t triggered that I completed it. Any ideas why?

In my guild panel someone has their location in gold lettering, but I haven’t been able to find anything on it. Does anyone know why it is in gold lettering? Any help is appreciated.

So happy to see a positive post! I have not made it to level 80 although leveling is quite fast it seems but I am in no hurry. I have enjoyed tons of quests, exploring, listening to random chats from NPCs nearby, just the overall game. I recently asked a guild mate why does he think there were so many hate posts. He replied with the ones who love it are too busy playing and enjoying the game to post. So perhaps he was right and I am glad you took the time to post a positive side. I agree with your likes in this game especially the collectibles going straight to the bank. Fantastic!

I believe the update was for the recipe list only not the discovery tab. This provided us with an immediate update to help some with crafting and not have to wait for it later down the road for both at the same time. I could be wrong but I think I read that this past week.
