Thanks for the invite, joined!
However, reading the MOTD, I have a question:
What happens when I am leveling an alt which is not my Ranger main?
Am I still required to rep this guild or face being kicked?
I ask because when I’m not on my Ranger, I will not rep. I feel it doesn’t make sense for a [non-Ranger] to rep a Ranger guild, RP wise.

I’m a casual player and only play GW2 about once every 2 weeks, but Ranger is my only 80 and I foresee it’ll remain my only 80 for a very long time to come. I’ll send you an in-game mail later when I get back from work.

Please enable this function in a future feature update!
I’m good with no custom UI as well, just let me move/resize things!

Funkyus Maxymus, of Crystal Desert !
I play mostly PVE, just walking around and taking screenshots. Some RP would be good.

Buffs (I didn’t list the nerfs) for Hunters taken from WOW’s 5.3 patch notes:
Avoidance passive on all pets and guardians has been changed. It now reduces area-of-effect damage from creatures and NPCs by 95% (up from 90%), and from players by 50% (up from 0%).
Blink Strike has been renamed Blink Strikes and turned into a passive ability. The pet’s Basic Attacks deal 50% increased damage, can now be used from 30 yards away, and will instantly cause the pet to teleport behind their target.
It’s a different game with different systems definitely, and not everything can apply to our Ranger. But still, I would like our pets to get a bit more love.

Mounts would break all jumping puzzles, especially flying mounts.

Personally I wouldn’t let players have the option of removing the pet. But I would make pet management less cumbersome. Either passive 80% damage reduction against AOE (so players and bosses can still kill the pet, but they have to make a conscious decision to do so) or reduce the cooldown for dead pet swap to 20s (so its still easy to kill the pet but you can’t shut down our core mechanic for more than a reasonable period of time).

It’s a bug, they’re supposed to fix all bugs, not only bugs which selectively benefit some players who exploit it. Which order they fix it in, is another matter of course.

I would prefer it to be like the Hunter pet in WOW, where they get passive 90% damage reduction from AOE, so it’s a lot harder to take them down (or get killed by terrible AI in dungeons).
