well, something like this would be really awesome:
It’s irritating. I’ve asked around agree and everyone agrees that it’s actually not supposed to function in downstate yet no one has made a complaint about t and it is abused I’m pvp all the time.
Please fix this.
The only irritating things here are your posts.
And the fact you clearly missed to read a lot of threads and patch notes.
this is a problem im mentionning for a long time – the issue is simple – the “traditional” animal pets are normed towards a human ranger…
no, they’re too small even for humans
I always liked this item, and I think it would be awesome to see a simple “hood only” version of it.
It would be perfect for rangers/thieves, imo.
i miss my elite canthan armor
why fix it? it’s a dinosaur, after all…
When I hear word “Celestial” I’m thinking about angels, not sky and stars… so in my mind it would fit the guardian’s theme, not ranger’s.
no problem here, maybe some adblock-like estensions installed?
Um…so does this mean I’m just screwed and I can’t get these 3 pets? That doesn’t make any sense…why would my ‘K’ screen show them if they were GW1-only pets….
because that is simply a list of all pets you can have in GW2, and because you can use them in spvp even if you haven’t played GW1 or unlocked them in HoM
Glorious chest armor is way better of the strider’s one, imho
Yes, let’s be realistic in a video game like gw2. Being the game inspired by a “medieval” fantasy spirit, let’s make a simple example:
In the hundred year’s war a medieval english longbowman could have easily killed a knight in full armor, simply aiming at the less protected spots, at a considerable distance, like someone said earlier. Or could have killed EVERYONE, even with a heavy armor, with no problem (they did, in fact)in little skirmishes.
Also, those archers started training when they were little kids to develop all the muscles needed to use those killing machines that were the english war longbows. So, asking for realism, are you ready to embark in a possible 10+ years long trip to reach lvl 80?
If you want a little more realism, simply play a different game that tries to do so, like Mount & Blade Warband (or even Skyrim).
longbow animations are ok for me, and shortbow 1 should use the same as longbow, imho, because it’s a lot unrealistic
-When playing as a ranger, are you often blamed for a loss even if you played well?
A lot. But usually by people who spend more time insulting all the team in chat than playing the game, or running around the map like idiots instead of capping/defending points (it seems so difficult to understand that focusing on two points is better than running around like there’s no tomorrow, often leaving you alone against 2-3 enemies of a more organized team).
So I don’t waste my time trying to answer to these geniuses.
Why don’t you use Leather armor instead of arcane outfit, if you don’t like the wide skirt?
forget pigs, I want a capibara!
Hate to tell ya sport, LB#3 is the shot that makes the ranger go stealth.
It also puts a small buff on the pet, as I recall. Maybe that’s why they’re using it?
or maybe because they can gain another opening strike that way…
you need to craft it using the two pieces you find in dry top
These kinds I hope
nope, this one :P
I forgot to mention the Plated Leather, not shiiiiny like the top ones, but more realistic and, for me, perfect for an archer.
Got one more piece of ascended to craft then I can start transmuting. I miss my overenchanted Maj light. I must’ve blew up like 30 pieces to get it to +6.
Yeah, really wish they’d do more intricate designs like L2.
Just compare the Wings of Dwayna with the Dynasty Bow, argh….
Speaking of L2, Dark Crystal looked a lot better than a Majestic for human models, in particular for an archer/ranger/thief class. Majestic was ugly for females and looked more like a heavy armor on males (they looked more like star wars stormtroopers than archers),. Only looked good on elf males and dark elf females.
I think that probably each race will have at least one cool armor combination…take a look at the show your ranger thread here, or simply try the various combinations in game by talking to the bank npc
Some quivers skins would be nice. I know quivers are craftable, but for the ones that do not want to close themselves in fractals or spend all their gold in materials it would be a great gift
