high single target damage? They can do high AOE as well. So already they broke their own thief philosophy

Solution is AOE against thief? Really? Blowing your limited aoe spell with long cooldown on empty spot because you can’t see or target them.

I’d like to backup DiE on their legit gameplay. Chances are it is one person with that tag acting out of character. It happens to the best of us, the only thing we can do is help each other flush these “poisons” out of our clean teams out there. It’s already out there that many many many of us do not support bad gameplay. Even today we reported the hell out of an SBI guy that thinks it’s a great idea to glitch on purpose to “show” Anet. Well, he kinda got told by a whole map of people that, that’s not something this server does. Lot’s of frowny faces about it and I’m sure that guy left the map or might have been banned from getting reported over 50 times within 2 minutes??

The guy have not be banned yet after 4 days of mass reporting. He got into hill lord room and almost killed the lord before he was spotted

They should remove the stealth when thieves are damaged kinda like the stealth you get in EB fountain. Either that, half the stealth duration, which takes into account that the culling kinda increase the duration artificially

Also, reduce thieves damage across the board by 50%. No other class can kill ppl with 2-3 hits without giving opponents a chance to respond. Thieves damage are too high.

JQ was spotted exploiting at sunny hill. Guild tag ZX. They were seiging our tower, wall/gate still up, but some of them managed to get in and started attacking the defenders. Please do something about it JQ

What happened to 1 vs 1 vs 1? Yet I keep seeing cry for 2on1 in order to win. I remember first week when SOS came into tier 1, SBI and JQ were adamant that they never double team (despite Blackgate constant warning), so stop calling for it. Attack both sides and stop calling for secret alliances.

Siege Weapons Bug

There are some places on the map where seige placement don’t work, they just disappear e.g west of the hill keep. Another annoying seige weapon bug is that you get stuck after/building a seige weapon and it refuse to let you move. Only way I found to unstuck myself is to blink or lighting flash away. I think this bug sometimes occur when repair gates/wall as well

With the talk of sbi/jq cheating/exploiting to capture towers/keep, I was a bit worried, but good thing theres none of that during the time I was on. There was none of this during tier2.

Don’t remove the link, the more ppl who know about it, the quicker arena.net fix it. Otherwise arena.net will simply ignore it. At any rate. I tested that exploit out to see if its really true that this exploit exist on friendly castle, and I couldn’t replicate it. Maybe its an angle I need to be jumping from but I spent a good 30 mins attempt at it and couldn’t do it

As for someone who requested above whether it was possible to create portal from outer to inner, yes its possible. The distance isn’t that far

Seriously Guys we all know that Bay can be explioted with mesmers so i Say “NO to mesmer ports into Bay” just dont do it ..its one of many tactics to reclaim a keep but its still only one tactic .. If we can all find other ways into Bay ..Trebs catas doors etc.. Lets just stick with that until the issue is resolved by Anet ..If you dont then you are just encouraging the expliot ..

I personally think once a keep castle or tower is captured a 5 min timer should be introduced and after that time the Whole area gets purged of any faction but the holders ..No mesmer sweeping required after that ..any ports into the area would be an obvious cheat..

So Again NO PORTS INTO BAY by ANY SIDE THIS WEEK PLEASE

Instead of saying no port into bay this week. How about we raise this issue to urgent so that Arena.net know about it and fix it immediately. Anyone got links to the bay exploit or the stonemist one. I thought they fixed it a few patch ago

Anyone find mesmer useless when seiging a wall when you’re below with this LOS nerf to mesmer? None of my ability is able to hit anyone on top of the wall unless they come right to the edge. Other classes have lots of aoe to compensate, but mesmer require a target to cast

e.g I can clearly seeing the person on the wall, but since theres a little barricade in front of the person I have targeted, none of my greatsword ability can do any damage to that person because of obstruction

Event was supposed to be over 5 hours ago, be happy you got to seen the content at all if you missed it then. 1 time event is 1 time deal with it and stop crying

PS: I didn’t get any loot from the event either but I’m not crying because I know it was my fault I had things to do today and could not put time aside for the game.

Some of us were there during the hours the event was suppose to happen, but crash/disconnected/lag occurred so we missed out on what was rightfully ours. It was your choice to leave before the end, so you have no right to complain, but those of us who stuck it thru til the end but still missed out, they have every right to complain

Arena.net really need to do something about the new build warnings. Not only are the timers false. e.g it may say new build in 5 mins, but it ends 1 min later. They dont give ppl enough time

I wasted 4+ hrs on this. I attempt to complete this event 3-4 times on various overflow severs but crashed every time in the middle of it, which then send me to a different overflow at a different stage of the event. 5 mins ago. I thought I could finally complete it and arena.net introduce a new build with less than 2 misn warning and end the event for good.

I know some ppl who completed the event 3 times and I couldn’t even finish it once

The current scores, in no way, represent what IOJ is actually capable of, given a fair fight.

What is this fair fight you’re referring to? When its 1on1 IOJ vs SOS last week? Or do you define fair fight as SOR AND IOJ vs SOS, then thats truly when we will get IOJ to show us what they’re really capable of?

I disagree with those who wanted the outmanned buff switched with the orb bonuses. If thats the case noone will really care about going after the orb. Part of the appeal of WvW was going after the orb that give your side something worth fighting for. If you give the orb some weak power, then its pointless going after it

I guestimate the population cap is really around 50-60 per server per map. Never seen more than 50 to be honest and I’ve been everywhere on the map including the puzzle

Maguuma have been using this tactic all week. They come in from behind to attack the same keep while the other two servers been fighting each other, hoping to sneak cap it while the two hostiles are too busy to realize what have happened.

You don’t realize the number of times false accusation of other side double teaming against you happen in WvW in every tier and every match. Its mostly not true. Its more likely that your opponents saw a place for some easy points and simpy took it without much thought to the overall strategy. You also assume each side operate with a single mind. There are many people on a server doing their own thing ignoring what the main group is doing

The only thing i have ever seen about the caps on the WvW maps is that its 500 per map. They never mentioned that it was split 3 ways. I could be wrong, do you have a source where you got that from.

I’m pretty sure the population cap is much lower than that. I have never seen more than 50 per server. So 150 population map cap

To be honest. I saw zero orb hacking this round, when compared to last round vs FA. Most of the orb problems in this round is mostly due to bug or maybe the quaggan storm. Hard to tell a feature from a bug sometimes. I noticed our altar was destroyed at one time as well and had to move it to another keep. Have anyone written up a guide on how this quaggan storm, weather nodes work? From my experience, its a major part of WvW yet most people don’t pay attention to it

Even if you Maguuma do not respect us. We still respect you. Yes we’re a bunch of zergs, but we hope to improve our organization. I think spacedad overestimate our numbers. We went from almost zero NA presence to some. Weekdays are the true test, not the Weekend and as expected our numbers are not that great. We have one map that full and the rest are almost empty during NA prime time. We jump maps ALOT, that may create an illusion that we have heaps of numbers. And no, we’re not tier 1 material yet

Once SoS make it to T3 and T2, they will lose on the first day and for the rest of the week their players won’t turn up to WvW.

If we lose we lose. I have different expectation than you apparently for SOS. I rate our server somewhere between tier 2 and tier 3 at this time. Having faced IOJ, ET, TC and FA before and lost, I say we’re somewhere in the middle. Just because we gained a few NA players, don’t automatically make us good. It just means we won’t go with +0 points during NA timezone. I don’t think we won a single match up since game launch but we still having lots of fun in WvW

I don’t know why you guys consider moving to SOS is like moving to the winning server. Its not the same as moving to server like HOD or Jade. SOS was ranked 11th and came 2nd against Tarnish Coast and then 2nd against FA

one of the things that bothered me with elementalist is that its aoe effect damage only hit 5 ppl maximum while other profession have aoe damage skills that can do more damage and hit more ppl at once

This is silly complaint. The jumping puzzle in wvw were designed from the start to be fought over. You have many pve jump puzzles to do without any pvp, yet you want the very few with the pvp to be pve as well

I’m so confused with this thread. Didn’t RUN just went back to TC after saying they will be coming to SOS? So all this angst against SOS is misdirected. This is really an internal bickering between TC members
