I Recently move to TC with a few guild mates (4 of us veteran and highly active players ) and we are looking for an active med to large Night / Oceanic PvX guild that does WvW, Guild missions, Dungeons, FotM , world events and LS.

OP if you are trolling nice one if not just keep at it and practice and play a class that you have fun on at the end of the day GW2 is a game and you should have fun! Also use the PvP training area to test out the class. You will be leveled to 80 and will have access to all skills, traits and weapons.

Good starting class,
Ranger for PvE you can sit back and Pew Pew Pew from a safe 1200 and the pets will tank for you.
For WvW start with a tank Hammer warrior if you want to run with the zerg.

Thieves are hard to counter 1 v 1 in wvw. That is pretty much a given. Your avg player will get destroyed by any roamer the thing with thieves is that they kill you invis and in a blink , this leaves a bad taste in the losers mouth. Where if the avg player get destroyed by a roaming ele or warrior it still stings but they realize and SEE that they were out played as oppose to getting killed by a invisible guy in under 3 seconds.

This has to be one of the most intelligent forum responses i have seen and it is 100% true i tip my hat to you Sir!

Schlez i am guessing you are on a Mesmer? I blinked in to her then used mirror images and and my F4 skill( Distortion)skill mid stomp ( as i do in PvP and WvW) i got her on my 4th try i hope it works for you as well good luck

The only reason most people do the LA events are for bags, xp and Karma so stop the high and mighty QQ. The players dead on the ground are the selfish ones not the players alive and fighting use the waypoint and run back if you are dead or GTFO of the map you are doing no good on the ground. I will try and res downed players but i will never res a dead player in an event or WvW.

Please Uninstall and go back to WoW!

There are a lot of players are willing to help including myself as long as the new player will speak up and say “i am new to this dungeon/path” there is nothing more annoying when you have 1 player running around doing random crap.

I am more than happy to help someone that is “new” to the dungeon if they are upfront with it and say they are “new” But i will always kick noob scrubs that join our party pretending to know what that are doing.

So i was thinking would people still Zerg / Karma train if there where no / less rewards?

The thought is that an objective be worth X amount of WXP and Karma and the more people in the Area of the event such as taking a Camp and or tower receive a portion of the WXP / Karma. So the more people in the Zerg the less WXP and Karma an individual player would receive.

for example,

If a camp is worth 1000 WXP and 4 players take it they receive 250 WXP each
and if 20 players take the same camp they each only receive 50 WXP each

this could also roll over on to loot as well such as less players that kill a Lord better chance for higher tier loot.

I would recommend DR to any WvW / PVX guild looking to transfer to a lower population server!

I have grate memories of DR and i certainly miss the small man havocing and roaming and there is no Queues or lag

I’m lucky enough to have been part of [BÆST] from day one and I am proud to wear the tag!

Yes [BÆST] is a WvW guild and we love the fight win or lose ( preferably win :p) but that is not what makes me log in every day. Personally I believe that greatest aspect of [BÆST] is the Guild community that will go above and beyond to help out another member be it builds, gearing, levelling a new toon or pooling our mats and gold so someone can get the legendry quicker.

We are truly international guild with members all over the world I’m Australian and would love to have a stronger Oceanic presence for [BÆST] :P Whisper me in game if you have any questions.

Wow just wow i can’t believe all the QQ from SBI!! This is the fist hard match up in weeks and all we can do is cry in the forums and point fingers “sigh”

At this point YB deserve to win this round they are a quality server and are out there fighting every day with amazing defense and i tip my hat to them /salute

So lets get back out there and have some fun!!

WOW this is going to be a fun week there will be no QQ from BÆST. We are having so much fun in YB BL some epic fights so far! No offence to the other server we have faced the past few weeks but we were starting to get a bit soft due to the constant karma training and long queue times it was good to revive a kick in the kitten to wake us up keep the good fights coming and best of luck to all.

I know TE only managed 10-15 members on reset the rest were queued. Not sure how many Beast and DR managed to get in though.

Pretty sure most of TE got queued because both Bæst and DR hacked the queue to bring in 2 80-man omniblobs each…sorry

Lots of fun fights but sadly we had a few of our guys and girls stuck in the queue as well BÆST was lucky to have 20 on the BL for reset.

Looking forward to the rest of the week when the weekend numbers die down.

Amazing weekend of WvW!!! [BÆST] was nothing less than impressed with E-BAY’s Garrison defense on reset night. I don’t think I have seen the lord revived so many times hope we get more fights like that through the week

I don’t post on the forum that much but i have to tip my hat to Mag and FA you guys are all and more than i anticipated at this tier Think i have spent more on armor repair this week that i have in the past 2 months big shout out to the small man groups from [Ark] and [BURN] you guys have some real talent

All the trolling and PPT aside thanks NSP and IOJ for hanging in there and all the good fights and wipes on all sides this week hope you get a better roll this reset =)

Legendary weapons should be account bound on crafting!!
I have made 2 for myself i feel it cheapens the accomplishment when someone with a credit card can buy a but load of gems and get a Legendary Weapon.

I almost forgot to thank the DH Necro the provided me with a precursor last week! Thx for the Gold :P

WoS is truly a player orientated Guild for all levels be it new or veteran players with everyone willing to lend a hand when needed. For example recently I needed 1 skill point on Orr to have world map completion “the temple of Balthazar” as anyone who is aiming for a Legendry weapon will know this area is contested 99% of the time. After 20 minutes of trying to get the skill point ninja style I reached out to the guild for some help with in 5 minutes 20+ guild members descended on the temple clearing it just so I could get the Skill point and map completion! This is a common occurrence in WoS we will always go the extra mile to help our Guild member succeed in their GW2 goals.
