Off hand sword here I come!
Are you so sure? Given that your clones won’t have the offhand equipped your enemies will be able to instantly tell you apart from your clones.
TBH, the clones offhand issue and this iberserker issue are both really really annoying.
It’s pretty unbelievable that something like this is left unattended when one of the primary functions of the clones is to confuse the enemy from being able to tell which is the real mesmer. A mesmer is already squishy enough, if you’re going to so blatantly point out which is the real thing amongst the clones, then you might as well put a permanent marker (cough downed state cough) on our heads.

Ah that sucks. So other players will be able to tell you apart from your clones?
No, clones definitely should have the same weapons as you. Otherwise other players will be able tell you apart from the clones quite easily. It’s the phantasms that will have different weapons to the ones that you have equipped.
Now that we’re on this topic, I’ve just noticed that on land the clones will only have the main hand weapon equipped and no offhand. 2H GS seem to be normal though.
I’m going to get a friend to check what they see on their side so that we know if this is a local client error or a wide spread one.
Hi all,
I posted this yesterday in the bugs section, but got no reply. So I would appreciate some feedback from other fellow mesmer players.
With some help from a friend, I’ve finally created my underwater mystic weapon set, Mirage and Illusion. I was in the underwater stage in fractals yesterday where I tried out Mirage for the first time. But when I create clones with Mirage equipped, the clones don’t seem to hold any weapons but is still able to attack. On the other hand, Illusion seem to work just fine.
Anyone else experienced this?
So I finally got my underwater set today for my mesmer. But when I use Mirage (Trident), the clones that I produce don’t hold a weapon like they should be.
Anyone else get this?
