We are a smaller more close-knit guild, and the majority of our members are adults, but we do have younger members as well. We do like to have fun and goof off, and most of all, enjoy the game and each other’s company. We like to keep drama to a minimum, but we hardly see it in such a close-knit community.

Currently sitting at 40 members total, and we’re about 10-15 active during weeknights (hey, we’re all adults and we all have day jobs), and usually 20+ during the weekends, where we spend most of our time doing WvW and Dungeon content. We are not a “zerg” guild and will not accept you without either an application or conversation beforehand, we don’t just blind invite anyone into the guild, nor will we retain all members who don’t meet our simple standards: good people, good players.

We’re primarily a North American guild, I’d say 90% or more in the PST to EST timezone range. We do have a website, and a dedicated 50 slot Ventrilo server. We do have some additional information listed on the website, but it is still a work in progress.

Several of my guildmates are Asuran and have no problems reaching the end of the EB jumping puzzle. I’ve never heard any of them say anything about certain spots being harder than others re: jump distance/height.

I run axe/wh full time on my swap set, GS as main. Its extremely effective in WvW. I keep a rifle in my bag to swap for if I find myself running with a zerg for those keep pew fights, but I mostly run solo/duo/small group and look for those small group fights.

The mobility it gives far outweighs the loss of dps from not having a damage dealing offhand. It also makes a great swap in 1v1s since charge acts as a cripple/chill/immo removal and make it easy to stay right on top of the ranged kiting classes that slow you. Call to arms (#5) gives you the endurance regen and lets you dodge a ton of attacks, and the added bonus of it doing a weaken on the opponent.

I 1v1d a 5-signet GS/rifle warrior last night in full exotic armor and just walked circles around him with axe/wh. Wore him down with slow, vulnerbility, auto attacks into eviscerate, and finished up with a quick swap into GS and bulls/frenzy/100b.

It’s very under utilized by alot of warriors out there. When you know its strengths and weaknesses, and know when to swap it in and out, its a great thing to have.

I do agree that some of the axe skins are lacking. The guild axe doesn’t look half bad though, and its 20s to transmute on top of whatever.

There are a couple of dungeon axes that might fit your taste (I like the CoF axe personally), check them out at the vendors over near the pvp gates in Lion’s Arch.
