If this is their way of stopping botting, they did a lousy job. It’s ANet’s fault this is possible but they should have done it in a way that doesn’t stop players that WANT to farm while playing.
It’s their way of playing. It’s their decision to do it. They will not help new players with tutorial as they see it as spoonfeeding, but they are very fast when it comes to punishing.
The more I play the more I get a feeling that ANet only sees one way of playing this entire game. And a lot of players seem to agree with that. Like we are all just a bunch of drones without our own personal likes and dislikes.

I agree, there is wiki and it describes WvW. But it does that in a very broad manner.
What I was thinking was more like tips for easier understanding which wiki is not good for. That can only come from players.
Something like : https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OMG-If-you-only-knew-this-tips-for-new-players.
But for WvW only.

I like sPvP even though I still don’t like GW2 combat and skill system. But I am hopefull that will happen when I become better, in time.
But my experience with WvW is something completely different. Whenever I tried it I felt like a drone following other drones. I am not in a guild and usually play solo. I know that WvW is best if you do it with a group but would still like to at least understand it better.
So I was wondering if there were any WvW guides or tactical help manuals for people to read and understand this interesting concept that is WvWvW.
I mean what are main objectives and tips and tricks to achieve that. I don’t want to always just follow others and do what others do. I would like to understand why I am doing it and when is the best time to do it or how.

Maybe it’s a warrior thing. Use of heavy armor or the fact that my character is just simply clumsy. But then I would like to have an option to crack him on the head or send him to some acrobatics school.
But in either case, it would be nice if we could at least get some sort of official response. I can see they are active on this forum or are those just forum mods that have no option to help us?

I understand combos and how they work, but I would like to get my hands on a guide that shows every possible combination of a warrior with other classes. Is there such a thing, yet?

I would also like some detailed guide with strategies and tips for WvW. I hate just following masses around and not knowing why we are going there and doing that.
sPvP is something I like, but it’s much easier to understand as there are smaller teams and maps and objectives appear to be more basic.

No, my character actually does a roll, but it is on the same spot he is standing in. No control on me, no visual obstacles, I loose one dodge worth of endurance, but I am still standing in front of my enemy.
It would really be nice to get some official response so I know if I am doing something wrong or should I just wait for a game update.

I am one of those that would welcome few more weapon skills. I would even like that more than weapon swap.
Like every other game this game has it’s own mechanics and it forces you to adapt to them. Weapon swap, ranged weapons and utilities are necessary if you want to be competitive even if you want to be pure melee damage dealer.

There is no Tank/Healer/DPS in this game (at least not on the first glance). We are all utility classes with few added weapon skills. Revolution of gaming they say. We’ll see.

How is crafting rare and exotic items achieved? Do I need to be of certain level, have certain materials or is it the result of critical success? If it is the result of critical success, what is the percentage of it?

My dodge keeps rolling me on the spot even though I am not being controlled, so one guy did some testing and found out that it could be due to one of the skills in autoattack rotation disturbing my dodge execution.
I still haven’t got any official response, so I am just fishing for a solution.

I’ve been having problems with my dodge skill not functioning properly and I was told that it could be due to the autoattack function messing with the execution of my dodge.
So I started thinking if not using autoattack on my No.1 skill could benefit me more than just with this dodge bug.

So … is anyone not using autoattack as a warrior and how do you find it?

A lot of times when I press dodge, my character just rolls on the same spot. I am not being controlled as I have paid special attention to that in testing this.
This happens on a level ground without any visible rocks, roots or similar obstacles.
Is it a bug or a lag?

I noticed that a lot of times when I dodge, my character just rolls on the same spot he is standing in. Of course that only makes things worse since I am still in range.
I’ve been paying close attention to controls while I dodge and this happens when I am not being controlled. At least there is no control icon on my screen.
Is there any other form of control I can’t see, is this a bug or is it a lag?
How to counter it?
