GTX 560 Ti
MX 518 here, no setpoint needed to get thumb button work.
until the day we can install wireless LAN card into our brain, don’t think we can simply “download” such card.
but once you start overclock, you sold your soul to hydro company.
if you’re already using DDR3 memory, your best bet is going all the way using E3-1230v2 with decent board that can accept it. as you’re halfway already to utopia.

your processor has hit ceiling, its trying to do everything it could, yet underpowered.
best bet: migrate to faster system.
i would get another card and see if keep getting same result.
It’s not your GPU, I have the HD 7850, and always have 60-80 fps, sometimes reaches 100fps.
that’s without VSync on.
that’s one nice colour’d porkloin.
wait, its a model of jungle stalker.
that means there might be a defect on your newly-bought GPU, post your GPU-Z result and we’ll go from there.

Button works even without SetPoint.
Everytime we are at your Briar, we start to experience huge delay on attacking. We need a explanation ASAP!
then? no one is going to help you with no list of setups.

everything is just smoke ’n mirrors unless you show some proof, be it support printout or CPU-Z report.

your first-gen i3 has hit the ceiling, time to move on.
Time to move on! Sandy and Ivy-Bridges processor performs better on same clock speed. And this game is allergic to any type of overclocking, whether its CPU or GPU-related.
It’ll make a difference in most applications that utilize the internet. The fix is just a simple optimization that can reduce latency in some scenarios.
Since we can’t determine our latency in GW2, there is no telling if the fix helps.
But it can’t hurt.
not true, one can always find out the server’s IP address they’ve connected to by using
“netstat -n”, searching all IPs which using port 6112, then ping it back.
I would keep old data file (~14.6GB with Oct. 7th patch) and get pre-installation executable to build directory, then override the old ones back to it.
(the default is “C:\Program Files (x86)\Guild Wars 2”)

I would begin troubleshoot with win7 x64.
follow the instructions found here (not afflicted with official Guild Wars 2) to check your ping value to particular server.
a x86 vista OS just not cutting it, move on to win7 x64
a dolyak machine with gamebooster is still, well, a dolyak

why don’t you all post your system specs, so others can help you troubleshoot.
i would say yes, but other people might beg to differ.
my WvW world have transformed to better after changing from i3-2100 to E3-1230v2

its about space recognition and how they place the tag, much like your crafting skill level which appears on guild panel.
why not? so you’re saying this HPET thing is all myth and waste of OUR time?
GTX260 216 cores here, pushing 100% since day one.
stay away from vertex 4…
i would increase my LOD if that helps.
and ease off other eye-candies.
after all these crap, including “Time Zone” (XD), you haven’t tell us what your GPU is.
q6600 obviously had its moments, its time to move on.
WvW is taxing heavily on processor front. I’ve had trouble with i3-2100 and changed to Xeon E3-1230v2, now live happily ever after (?)

virtu MVP? not worth the hassle.
and the thread OP is reluctant to argue on how he lay down two-grand for such a crap.
your GPU is fine, the bottle is on the X2 6000+, its about time to change it
processor, E3-1230v2 for starters
re-apply thermal paste

with just processor and memory alone will net you 400 —- 3 if someone throw it as combo (or better with 2nd hand)
and the rest of 1800 is… steam, i guess?

2-grand for this crap? that’s enough to make a headline tomorrow.
you’re making someone rich, you know.

have you, ever, consider changing thermal paste on your 260?
if never, might want to give it a shot.
