More than a third of pest-management companies treated bedbug infestations in hospitals in 2012, 6% more than the year before and more than twice as many as in 2010, according to a survey released today by the National Pest Management Association. The percentage of exterminators dealing with bedbugs in nursing homes has also almost doubled since 2010, to 46%. Bedbug experts also report seeing them in ambulances.
12 pages without getting locked. I’m proud of everyone.
WFD is semi-hardcore again. Thank you for fighting it out.
And now that we’re outnumbered a lot of BP’s guilds are trying to learn this as well. But I think it’s fair to say most of us can’t fight Rekz yet. Rekz is not overwhelming numbers, that’s fighting a highly organized machine of death! (Though you guys definitely pull the numbers these days as well) I think we’re getting closer though!
Trust me when I say that we’re actually looking forward to fighting a group that will challenge us. Fighting zergs is fun, but I like having to keep on my toes to avoid getting ganked. It’s an element of the game that we don’t get to experience much.
I sincerely wish for BP / AR’s skill groups to start kicking kitten and making names for themselves. I’m sure most of Ehmry can agree with me when i say we just want good fights.
i think you guys miss TWOGALLONTS to be honest, ive noticed you guys have lost “something” it’s kinda hard to put my finger on at first but then i realised i have not seen the big zerg machine that he brought to the frey…. for what ever reasons he is gone for i REALLY think you guys miss him defensively and offensively
I miss him. Getting veil bombed by 40+ pugs and ALS is painful.
I just want to point out that we learned how to fight zergs while in NSP. We were in the red server fighting against the stronger BP/AR zergs. It took numerous wipes but with practice we got better and better at it.
We understand your perspective of being outmanned but take advantage of this opportunity to learn how to fight overwhelming numbers in open field.

It’s always so surprising how different sides interpret fights so differently.
By reading some of these posts you would think WFD are some kind of tactical geniuses. What you didn’t see was Watching Friends Die turn tail and run most of the night, until they got at least +15-20 more to their numbers to back them up, which they all still died in the end. WFD really should remove the semi-hardcore notation they gave themselves, every time I hear that I can’t stop laughing, the thought of it is just absurd. One or two mentions and suddenly WFD is like, someone knows we exist guys! OMGOMGOMGOMG semi-hardcore #2013WFDGoingTier1JBYOLOLOL! Which was totally awesome, don’t get me wrong I saw WFD man up like, 1-2 days after that then they realized calling themselves semi-hardcore didn’t actually make them any better, and slowly trickled back to their old game style, running.
Anyways, getting that off my chest was worth an infraction. Hope to see [WAR] out there tonight! The only guys we look forward to fighting and we didn’t get to bump into them yesterday.
Lol. He mad.
I think most of my guildies were just annoyed that we kept hitting Garri and Hills to summon a zerg to fight but for most of the night, they stayed indoors.
It wasn’t till we went to Northeast supply camp that we finally found a zerg open field but once we showed up your WFD group left the 15-20 pugs to die rather than try and help them. This is how you’ve gotten our attention. We know you as the group that sacrifices teammates. We’ve seen it plenty of times now. It’s disappointing because we know when you guys actually man up or try and flank, you guys put out serious damage.
I personally won’t complain about any fights that happened after that. Getting wiped twice at Bay was fun. Trying to figure out how to beat that sieged up zerg ball at southwest tower was interesting. The south supply camp fight was pretty epic. Half of us wiped so we had to regroup and try again.
Honestly, when BP aggressively pursues an enemy, you guys are an unpredictable force.
I’m still confused with this whole EDGE thing. Have you been away from WVW for a while or are you RPing a new guild ready to partake in WVW? No troll, your original post just has me very confused.
I could have sworn we’ve faced EDGE groups before while small manning in NSP.
Tira,
Not starting something here… but I’ve seen a commander tag on one of the Rekz people in the past. You may not run with one often, but I have seen one (though it could be that weird bug where it shows you as a commander when you’re not). Other than that, once in a while I do bump into just you guys – the result is mostly the same unless we catch you off guard (which is surprisingly difficult).
We pop the commander tags on 3 occassions.
1. We don’t have enough to raid so we pull pugs to help us cap
2. No commanders at home BL, so we War Machine our towers back
3. We pop it on to show our members where we are on the map
Why does BP keep saying we are fighting for second? You are fighting for last.. “We don’t want second anyway” stop whining and play, we come to your BL because Kalkz whispers us to go away so we come and fight them instead. To all you good players in BP: Keep it up you guys deserve better. (We also took Ebay bay on reset tonight and got a decent fight with them, it isn’t that we are afraid, join our server and find that out and stop suggesting and assuming random stuff to make you feel better.). It is WvW have fun please so the rest of us can enjoy the game.
I’d like to second what Kaedrin said, AR’s WAR was pushing on EBay BL all last night, and have been making a lot more pushes into the EBay BL as a whole. You have had the “blitzkrieg” advantage for a few weeks or having such good offense that you can abandon defense, thus fueling more offense.
In fact, last night, we even left EB while we had the outmanned buff to attack you guys. We managed to take Bay before getting wiped by a ~30 man Seks team at Overlook (lost a lot of good golems that day!). Also, I know Seks likes to pretend they only have 10-15 (or 20 people max) on WvW, the numbers just don’t match up. You also have to account for all the extra followers you get and people not signed into TS when you do your accounting. You benefit from your reputation pulling more people in. That being said, your strategies are very effective and you are coordinated.
Keep up the give and take, fellas!
-We’re not a big guild.
-Guildies can only raid with the group if they use mumble.
-The benefit of not using the commander tag, we’ll only pull about 6 people with us. If you guys get zerged it’s cause you let that orange X stay in the same place too long.
-Half the guild list WVW consistently / the other half joins us bi-weekly. 30 Sekz team doesn’t exist.
I think it’s safe to say that a majority of the AR/BP/Sekz are tired of seeing the same people over and over again. I know we’ve been fighting Anvil for 4 months now and BP for 3 and a half now I think.
While we do enjoy testing our limits against 40-60+ zergs, we transferred to Ehmry, the red server, to fight against Yak’s and Maguuma’s skill groups. Due to unfortunate circumstances, the only group that managed to give us that fight are ADQQBSTY.
As for the forum warriors in my guild, every server has one, and they help make our thread look active. Rather than taking things personally, just throw your text punches and have fun.

To all the BP that participated, great fight at the southern supply camp in AR BL. We were using a temporary tag [Bros]. Those double portal bombs kept us on our toes and even forced us to retreat once. Those are the type of fights we look forward to and I hope you guys enjoyed that 10 minute skirmish as well.
To WFD, keep up your more aggressive plays that we’ve been seeing lately. The difference it makes on the open field really shows.
This goes to other AR / BP guilds as well. I’ve been seeing alot of big groups balling up and waiting around corners for flanks. It’s making open field combat more exciting.
;D
Thanks for making the week entertaining and coming out to fight.
To all the Anvil and Borlis that participated in that epic 3 way battle outside of NE Bay in AR BL, that was just as a fun as the battles you’d see on a reset. Thanks to both groups for sticking around just to duke it out. My guild had their fair share of wipes / stomps. If every night had battles like that, tier 5 really wouldn’t be so bad.
Hi, Elwyn. Sekz here. We’re fighting your server right now. I’ve seen your tag a couple times.
Ehmry has a very welcoming community and a very active forum and teamspeak. Our keeps are made of marshmellows and guarded by unitaurs (those are unicorn horsemen).
We also have quite the population of male suitors looking to marry into a well endowed family. If you’re looking, I can introduce you to some cute guys.
If I see you on the battlefield, I will hunt you down. You will die and I will cry. I will cry because I will be saddened by the fact that I could not introduce to you some cute male suitors.
~ peace

sorry i have been to busy… this is awesome!
but on the arif Q situation… He has told a commander that he was talking to sekz telling them where the zerg was moving to. If this is true… who knows, i mean this guy is probably blowing steam…. I don’t believe it… but just wanted to put that out there…
and that super fun amazing box of omgness is awesome lol
I don’t think my members care enough to talk to some random BP about zerg locations. I’ve invited DTC justice to my guild so he could personally block all my members. He stayed a joyous 5 minutes after he finished.
We don’t need a spy to tell where a zerg is. All it takes is sending 3 members to different maps and ask on map chat “is there a big zerg here?”. Other indicators include watching only supply camps flip which most likely means golem rush.
Hiding 30+ people is a difficult challenge especially on a map that takes 5 minutes to traverse. Not sure who Arif Q is but I hope this remedies any worries.
Awesome video. I remember that killzone you guys created in SW tower that was almost impossible to break through. Even with a wall already open, we had to open up another wall just to give us more attack angles.
^ agreed. Kind of like solo roamers.
Me neither. I just happen to stumble upon it clicking on Zara’s signature. So while I’m here, I’ll insert nice things.
Borlis Pass has a lot of nice people and a developing world vs world community. When these guys organize and bring their A-game, they’re definitely a force that deserves an opposing server’s full attention.
If you’re looking for a welcoming community (cept certain few individuals *cough*cough*) and a place to develop your guild into a world vs world powerhouse, this is a great server to join.
i underestimated Ebay, however the only guild that gave us a trouble is Sekz (aka the transferred guild from NSP) I have noticed Sekz got Bigger by numbers, a lot bigger, And since you’re owning us and Anvil rock i can tell you “might” be able to match SBI and Maguuma & CD above there UNLESS you yell and not deal with the “pvd” if BP can do this damage to you by “Noob PVD As you say” then CD or Maguuma will totally destroy you, Push us harder and leave this horrible tier
Our guild actually got smaller. We’re just able to field 15-20 during reset weekend. Fortunately, most of the people that stayed in NSP were our PVEers. For the most part, you’re just seeing the same group of Sekz over and over again.
We all share the same sentiments concerning culling. Hopefully the 26th will truly resolve these issues. We’ll probably miss culling once it’s gone and reminisce running into a group of 10 with 30 people invisible behind them.
After we took SM today, a dedicated trebber from Anvil Rock continued to treb Durios for us. Don’t think he realized till an Ehmry pug killed him but bkid doesn’t stop till someone forces him to stop! AR trains their trebbers well.
I see Sekz has moved to Ebay … how kittening pathetic … why don’t you sissys just move to the top and get it over with? Hopping up tiers all the time is sad. You guys were so kitten good, NSP dropped after you transferred in LOL.
Why are you so mad? We went to Ehmry Bay cause they were the red server getting stomped by Yaks Bend / Maguuma. We moved to a higher tier to fight stronger opponents. We didn’t expect to drop to tier 5 and make you mad again. If I remember correctly, you were the FIRST person to ever write a post about us about “OP builds”. Now that I think about it, I shouldn’t get so defensive. Your mad is making me happy now.
You could join/make a guild dedicated to beating the poop out of zergs 2-3x your numbers. I know with a group of 8-15 willing to organize and coordinate via some sort of VOIP (mumble, vent, TS3 ect) you can pretty much outplay most zergs of random pugs. I know in tier 5-6, these type of groups can demoralize the fairweathers back to PVEing making PVdoor a breeze.
ADQQSTY versus FTF/Sekz on reset night 3/8. This is what WvW should be like, not that zergball versus zergball crap in T1 and T2.
Thanks for posting the first video of us eating dirt in open field with about even numbers. We got too used to just running into unorganized zergs in tier 6. After that night, we now know when fighting a skill group, treat it like a skill group even when they got numbers. Good games that night. Fun stuff.
My guild has only transferred to the red servers. Dropping down to tier 5 made me cry a little inside because winning really holds no reward. BP has been green for months so you guys should at least understand what it’s like to be an overwhelming presence.
Being the loser server is more fun than a one sided fight. I can’t wait to get roflstomped by Maguuma or Yaks Bend. They don’t fairweather after a couple wipes. They just come back and put us on the timeout chair.
To the [WAR] guild of BP, you guys should band together more often. You guys made quite a presence last night ganking us. Although we were beating on 1 guy having the most epic fight of our lives, or were dealing with another zerg you still managed to keep us on our toes.
Also, the double zerg we fought at Ogre camp was too epic. Nice fight to [WAR], again, and [REGA] from DR.
Good, job BP. I predicted you would win this matchup. (given you did not lose 2 many servers during the XFER and that you had not moved up sooner, bcuz the matchup in T6 was even only acquiring a few ratings points each reset.) Must admit you had me worried at reset, DR being largely unorganized in their WvW play style and that they lost the organized guilds during the XFER. I had not watched Ebay well enough to know their true power, only that they lost some guilds from XFER and they gained a large oceanic guild from NSP (recently). I expected a close matchup with BP and Ebay and for a time it was close between those 2. BP though rallied and organized a night capping to take a decent lead. I’m guessing this was a lil bit 2 demoralizing for Ebay. That plus DR does have a small oceanic presence, not much, but enough to close some gap between Ebay.
BP and Ebay it is not over yet. BP if you can hold gratz 2 you. Ebay dont give up you got the population and the brains to comeback. And DR get the heck out of T5 to T6. Although close I know that AR can give a better match up to BP and Ebay then DR can any given day of the week.
Oceanic + Large + NSP + recent? Which guild is this? O.o
Only about 6-8 actually did WVW in FA and we were a small roaming supply flipping guild at the time. When we went to NSP, we started inviting people to practice zerg stomping.
It wasn’t typical in tier 6 either. We’re from tier 6.
Ah, ok. I do run into [GH] much more often than you guys.
Haven’t seen [ECHO] yet, but then I haven’t been playing much this week.
I thoroughly enjoy fighting [GH]. It’s always an interesting fight because they have this never ending supply of nasty little tricks they can pull.
That [Seks] guild takes turtling to a whole new level. I’m not bashing them at all, btw. They are REALLY good at what they do! They are really disciplined. It is a lot harder than it may appear to get 30+ people to stay close to a commander. It takes a lot of bulldog-style leadership to do it.
Thanks for compliment. We just transferred here a week ago. Being that the gem prices are about 2g per 100gems, a lot of my members have yet to transfer. It was maybe just 8-13 of us with some pugs who happen to be close by or following along.
Hey, X Braveheart. Could have asked Sekz before transferring to Yak’s Bend. They’ve been on a rise and fall between tier 3 / tier 4 for months. Kings one week and dumpsters another week. The fairweathers morale plummets quite quick against the new Jaspenwoods.
We deliberately ambush zergs. Kind of what a gank group does. Doesn’t matter if it’s BP or AR. Don’t be mad at everyone cause people are accusing you of hacks. Just wait for ANET to resolve your issues and practice juking Balthazar for now.
NSP commander + BP commander = truce > AR
Different NSP commander + AR commander = truce > BP
2 truces + no communication between NSP commanders making different truces = NSP attacking everywhere at once
2 truces broken in less than a day = NSP punching bag for a week?!
Headhurts. Resting now.
Not sure how it came to be but we’re both really popular this week, PAXA.
I can quote the speech he gives to new members that want to WVW. It goes like this:
“You need mumble.”
Dear Kalkz, please do not get an ulcer over GW2. We don’t care to PvDoor unless we’re THAT bored. BPbl happened to have some good farming cause we’ve yet to hit our daily quota of badges. Our boss is demanding a certain amount of farm or we’ll lose our jobs. Please understand our situation.
I think AR and BP should both bring their zergs to EB around 9pm server time.
We had fun at AR borderlands last night as well. We enjoyed the continuous fights at the supply camp. Made alot of badges there. As for trying to take bay, it took an hour and half to take the inner wall at 1/3 health that we were drained from doing constant sieging. We wasted 1500 of your supply but… 200 more would have mentally crushed us. We decided to end the night suiciding at your arrow carts rather than waiting for the supply camp to regen.
Spelled Sekz wrong btw.
What a fun reset. We had a nice balance of plowing zergs and getting stomped. Hope to have more intense battles throughout the week.
Since resets are happening in a couple hours, I just wanted to say thanks to AR and Kaeneng for the interesting week. As one sided as it was, my guild used the situation in a positive light and practiced new setups to counter zergs. Maybe not 100% polished yet, but there were some good results. As for WM, your guilds organization and quick mobilization is amazing. We learned alot by watching you guys plow through us. Good luck in tier 5, Kaeneng, and we’ll be seeing you again, AR. ; D
We’re small but most of my members like to WVW so we get together on weekends : )
We were transferred from DR either, haha.
Were you the upscale mesmer that I was sitting next to? When my guildies and I walked into garrison, we were surprised that no one saw you guys.
The large guild Sekz left DR to join Kaining this week. DR, and/or BP might suffer when they get bumped down with the guilds they’re losing.
Reset night I actually saw that Guild on NSP…about 15 of them…
That’s why I shouldn’t do multiple things at once. I meant NSP.
Not sure if there’s another [Sekz] guild in NSP, but we’ve never even proposed the idea of transferring to Kaening. Also, we’re not a large guild. We’re just some no name, small guild that recently transferred to NSP. Whoever gave you the info, needs to double check before spreading the false facts.
