We were going to move away after we saw your guys go full retreat but then you plagued us and were like, “kitten it, that’s Oozo. Zerg him down so we can be on video”. Glad you had it recorded.

Borlis Pass you guys are winning and are great to matchup against. There’s no need for you guys to send spies into our TS server. Just to know when we’re logging off and you can pvd our keeps down. Although it was quite entertaining to troll and talk to them.

CD has it’s own problems and we do go at it with each other when we are losing. But to have you guys talk trash about your own server and guilds while you’re winning…You guys should watch your backs in your own ranks. Our suspicion is that the 3 in our TS last night was from MM/Rekz(?) not sure though. They kept asking us about what we think about those guilds specifically. In all honesty, we probably play in different time zones so we don’t encounter those guilds in full force so can’t really say. But we say some of the guilds we encountered like [LOST], [VP] and a few others are formidable and you guys go thoroughly trashing them how they’re just transfers holding down coverage blah blah. It was astonishing, I thought CD trolled their own guilds. But you guys got issues.

One of the guys told in private chat once he figured that we were just trolling them after a while, the guy trying hardcore to spy on us was some guy named noodles something. Greatest PVF/PVD commander in the history of BP. Just a heads up to anyone else facing BP. Probably doesn’t represent the majority of the server, but popping 3 spies into ts…man that’s so teeny bopper bieber hardcore.

Rekz rarely visits BP TS let alone another servers TS. We have better things to do like figure out how to best manage our little influence for the next upgrade. By the way, we’re not the only Rekz in the match up. Might want to check out Ebay’s Rekz. He’s on more around your time. Not affiliated with us though.

Aren’t Borlis Brawlers a GvG all star team? Don’t get me wrong, they’re definitely good. But, I heard they’re comprised of good players from different guilds.

That’s cool, but not as impressive as a normal guild group that plays together regularly.

I’d normally agree with you there but they use whoever they can get. Allstars aren’t always on. They used a backup driver for the last 2 GVG’s I believe.

I really feel sorry for BP. I don’t under stand why you all through him under the buss after he carried your server for so long. And I know he did because I fought him every morning for 13 weeks. He earned my respect and I would be proud to fight by his side!

We didn’t throw him under the bus. We didn’t even do anything to him. He just commanded whenever he felt like it, and he left because he wants to gain an even bigger ego on SBI.

We all know you never liked Kalkz, Evilzara. That’s probably why you told Sekz where his zergs were when they were on NSP. Not that you didn’t do that with your OWN zergs as a recruitment tactic.. but yeah. I’m sure you had a good reason for not liking him anyway, right?

I’m glad you showed up to this thread. It reminds us all why we enjoy putting BP in the dumpster so much.

Celeras, after we left Ehmry Bay, we shared our videos with any server that asked to see. Otherwise, that one snippet from the video would have been nice to spark a little drama. Unfortunately, if you actually look at the video, it has us talking about dumpstering Kalkz while in EBG, then it has Zara asking us to hunt down a commander in another BL who wasn’t helping the situation (probably an Os golem rush). In which we lied and said we were in BP BL and LA BL.

There are a lot of vids with Zara in our conversation. With the promise of giving us open field fights, we’d leave the BL, usually to retire to sleep. We never actually got fed a zerg with their hands cuffed behind their backs. She would gather anyone she could summon, and use cheesy tactics to try and get us. Other times we would purposely lie to her and say we went to sleep while hiding offline just to get a good gank.

Most of this happened while in NSP since by 12pm EST it was a dead server that had no presence to defend anything. So once we left a BL, stuff would fall. It’s old news.

It was nice to see you posting on the forums, but once I saw you try and start kitten by bringing up old news, I just didn’t bother to post or read any of your post. But since you decided to bring it up again, I thought I’d clarify things so you can move your drama down another road with more creativity.

Side note: Claude, we had fun fights at NW Hills till the BP pugs bailed on me. Then you all jumped me hard, haha.

I haven’t bothered to be active on the forums ever since fighting BG / SOR cause I was overwhelmed by how many pages of “coverage” debates went on. After skimming through this current match up thread, I can tell it’s already going to be more interesting to read.

Just to clear things up BP because I know you guys have a rumor network run by 5 year olds, here’s a direct quote from Ehmry forums about why we’d leave. You guys can continue believing what you want though and telling everyone your reason for us leaving.

“Hi. If we have another repeat of what happened with BP / DR matchup and lose cause guilds take it easy or fairweather the week, Rekz will be leaving. We have fought tier 2 and tier 3 servers competitively without fairweather. This is inexcusable. End all your internal guild bullkitten, and clean up your game. Pug commanders, do your jobs and command the pugs.”

After fighting against more competitive servers, Ehmry started losing it’s pug community and then the main guilds were becoming less active. It was like that for weeks. After a brutal beating by DB / TC, we finally had a fairer matchup against CD / BP but the fairweathers took their time to show up. We never cared about winning, just wanted the community to try. We weren’t going weeks before wvw became more enjoyable again.

actually, you got it wrong. you guys ARE scared to take on cd. the map this weekend shows that pretty much in detail. right this very second the map shows the proof. we’ve had blue and green in our map the whole weekend with queues. it’s pretty obvious that if cd didn’t focus us we’d be 2nd and actively on their heels (in their bl). they can see it.

the whole reason you guys did so well against us when we were grouped with anvil was because anvil focused us instead of ebay. our server got tired of being double teamed, and many stopped showing up in wvw. now that we are doing better weekly, more people have been helping in wvw.

good thing we’ll go back to tier 5 at the end of this week. the servers we’ve been battling have been great sports. so many bows each day of our confrontation. all we get from ebay is laughs when zergs roll over small groups or even singles. i’ve seen little of that behavior from cd. even our match-up posts were only trolled be ebayers acting up. you guys really do house a lot of egos and unsportmanlike players. i’m sure it will rub off with our players imitating you more and more.

Not trying to argue with you here. You guys obviously wanted to defend the camp but rather than us waiting for you guys to give up suiciding, we decided to build an AC for fun since you guys kept trying to build AC’s.

Also, you had other options since Hills had 0 supplies, and our forces were either in Hills or at the camp, you could have ran supply to siege up Hills for a last stand. No one would have stopped your forces heading towards Hills since we were all occupied.

I don’t think you read my post but you guys kept suiciding over and over again to build your own ACs and contest the camp. If you think us building an AC was kittened up, then what should we consider what you guys were doing? If you’re going to suicide to grab 10 supply just to build ACs at your own spawn camp, then that’s pretty troll. I don’t think us trolling back should be much of an issue.

Maybe you should count the pugs you had as well. There was about 20 give or take. The only reason it seemed like you only had 10 was because you guys kept purposely suiciding to contest the cap and steal supply so you could build ACs on the hill by your spawn.

After a certain point, we were just farming you guys and had to build a merchant behind the supply camp because for some reason, commanding pugs to dive and get farmed seemed to be the right decision. It also gave FTF the head start to break open outer Hills which lead to the cap. GG?

Nice fights in TC BL with rB and the TC militia. Also, good fights to TC’s [RE] and their pug army and DB’s [TG], [EA], pug group in our EBBL. Wish we could have put up more of a fight but the combined DB/TC group gave us some Stonemist like skill lag that we were hesitant to jump in most of the time. Good fights regardless.

Until now the SoS match up threads no matter who we fight stay relatively civil. Lol.

SoS is a great group of people. It’s a shame there is a lesser ranked server in this matchup not showing the same sportsmanlike qualities.

Since you are interested enough in our matchup to post here, feel free to browse through the rest of the thread. You’ll notice a pattern very quickly as to who is saying what, and how few people are actually saying those things.

It’s a shame so many people think that those talking on the forums are always representative of everyone else. The fact that you think that a few people are talking for all of us seems like a convenient nod to familiar faces at our expense. Thanks, buddy.

Maybe you should check the WvW Recruitment threads. There are people linking this thread in those posts to sway people away from considering eBay as a transfer option solely based on your forum presence.

I represent 500 players, thank you. That’s not Ehmry Bay. Just players who you don’t see talking garbage here and probably have never heard of outside of the game.

So who am I misrepesenting exactly? I never even mentioned my server in my post. It was ambiguous to avoid misrepresentation. Nah, I’m defending exactly who I meant to.

As for our recruitment thread… meh. Can’t do anything about it. I’ll stick to worrying what is in my power to influence, and that isn’t some random server recruitment thread that could be posted by any of thousands of players.

I’m not much for forum trolling but I’m also not one to constantly dwell on minor issues like forum etiquette. I guess this issue only concerns people that hover the forums as much as they play the game but still, is it that big of a deal? It’s like seeing road kill on the side of the road and having some sort of emotional response that ends up ruining your whole day.

I’ll exempt SoS from this since I’ll just believe what they said about having a civil community, but I’m pretty sure every server has or had their own community trolls. They just don’t use the forums.

There is no step back for me to take, I have not been offended by anything in this thread. Sure it’s only a game, but the people we deal with are real whether it’s through a screen or in person. If you look at the start of this thread, the people I’m assuming your referring to as the “forum warriors” from ebay are actually the only ones talking on ebay’s side. Which leads us to assume these people were speaking on behalf of your server, which is something I believe a few dragonbrand members posted about. But that being said I’m glad to see that not all ebay members are like this, and it is possible to have a civilised conversation without it resulting to childish name calling, and circle logic.

I admit I may have fueled the trolls on this thread, and for that I apologise. I did get angry and you can see that in my first forum post on these forums back in page 4. That being said it seems the truer representative of the ebay server have showed up now, so I would like to ask why you didn’t step in earlier or deal with these “forum warriors” in private? I only ask because it was mentioned your a unified server now, so I would assume you would be able to persuade them into it.

I believe you have the wrong approach to the forums. Words can mean a lot, and evidently things can get VERY heated. But I’m going to reiterate, these forums are for constructive criticism, and all posts should be written and read accordingly.

Because it’s just a matchup thread. Almost every matchup thread will start off civil, then go down hill, then back up again. Not really a big deal.

The trolling on this thread is pretty tame compared to past match ups. Hopefully no one is getting worked up over words because I’ve been having fun with this match up thus far.

As for Eviator, there’s like 5 people in my guild that are even on the game at this time and they’re like guest and couple of odd work shift players. Stop picking on the poor guys.

I don’t understand why people would continue to suicide to protect a supply camp. In 40 minutes, I made almost a stack of badges and it wasn’t even satisfying. No strategy, no skill, just suiciding with numbers as a safety cushion. It’s a supply camp.

Also, the response time of EBay is definitely top notch, within 2 mins inside their garrison, and they have 80 people there….

We can only run 30 around reset. We usually have 15-20 during the weekdays. I think the other day we had 19 + VS guild group.

Since I was short on time since I logged on late, we decided to try and take things quickly before I had to log off. After taking Yak Garrison, we fought with your group a couple of times for fun even at the disadvantage since some of the fights VS was recovering from their own seperate wipes.

After the last fight, we managed to wipe your groups so we decided to try and take SM for the last cap of the night in which the a whole Yak zerg |+ RAM decided to charge out the inner at the same time lol. Instead of trying to rally the pugs, I had to leave otherwise I’d be stuck at work with no sleep.

FA was supposed to golem rush us last night but it never happened. I think you guys hit the wrong BL.

Thanks for the kind words. We’ve gotten our fair share of wipes by FA / Mag because of how fast you guys respond to any given situation. Response time wasn’t really an issue in tier 5 so now we find ourselves looking over our shoulders, haha. We’re having a blast in this match up so far.

Tier 1 and tier 8 do not change for a legit reason. Overpopulated and underpopulated WVW. Ehmry on the other hand gained the rating needed to move to tier 4 and drop SBI down to tier 5, but instead, SBI gets randomed to tier 3.

Sekz / Rekz has been on the receiving end of plenty of trolls / accusations. I find it entertaining. If any of my members get riled up, I tell them to take a break. It’s not worth taking anything from this game personally. If I ever get frustrated, I’ll just go play Planetside 2 for a bit.

This tiers trash talking is the same as any tier. BP / AR / NSP trashed talk plenty in tier 6. The only thing that has changed is each servers roles on the forums.

You have more hardcore WvW player, for sure you’ll be able to adapt and fights harder. I’m not hardcore, I won’t sleep 2 hour less just to gain 2 points on the glicko system and the right to brag on an internet forum. Our hardcore communty, they don’t play WvW, they play tPvP. We are left with mostly casual and roamers.

Re-read your lasts posts guys, all of those are about pating yourself in the back.

You take forum post too seriously. I honestly imagine your facing turning red when you read this thread. Most of the players on the forums are actually quite friendly and chat ingame with players from BP / AR giving or receiving advice.

We all know PengiuNet is a troll but I advocate it. It gets the usually forum posters to reply, filling the thread something to read. As for his current post, what he says is true for the most part. Even in this stale match up, Ebay as a community is constantly finding ways to improve. I can also give credit where credits due.

Kalkz helped in the creation of our night crew. When accusing Ebay of nightcapping, just remember that our night crew was created to counter Kalkz’s golem rushes. A sincere thanks to Kalkz.

I know certain people and guilds in Borlis Pass have taken this opportunity to improve their WVW community. For example, WFD went from being a casual WVW guild to almost a daily WVW guild. I also know that certain commanders in BURN are trying to convert stubborn PVEers in their guild to be more WVW focused (I hope you do manage to get BURN more active).

Walabone and Kyle Finnegan have taken the initiative to improve their communities open field. Then we have a certain member in TANK who thinks their guild is carrying the community (lols). Also, congrats on getting your community TS up and running.

As for AR, there’s few to mention. Big improvement to Ex-WAR now CRIT guild. I think they’ve made the most improvement in this match up. Since the absence of 2G, ALS really hasn’t made any improvements. I’ll give credit to certain commanders in ALS for trying to improve the guilds tactics though.

Actually, Sekz wiped you on both AR / Ebay BL. That’s just us being in Teamspeak coordinating and asking for help. In fact, we purposely made sure to let you know that we were porting both BLs by targeting you.

I apologize for the attitude of my fellow Ebay players. Ebay has indeed come a long way since the old days and is much more organized than it was. Skill and organization does indeed play part of the reason we do well.

HOWEVER, it is also true that we easily have more population than either BP or AR and possibly as much as both combined. We CERTAINLY have more night coverage and have proved it many times.

Alot of Ebay is insulting and dismissive towards BP and AR right now. Alot of Ebay says that we are just more organized, have faster response times, are more skilled. Keep in mind that these are the same small % of Ebay players who are actively trolling, bragging, and thumping their chest. As such they are not very credible.

I thank Borlis Rock for your united opposition as it has made the game fun and you have proved that you can regularly beat us in our prime time when working together. You have also proven that you do not have the numbers that we have at night doubly so.

Shame on the Ebay who are here trolling and thumping chest when we gained 90% of our lead with BP and AR asleep and unable to match our numbers. That is not a satisfying victory.

Please stop. Every server is guilty of it. Check out old BP / AR / NSP threads. It’s just a thread.

When Sekz was on NSP, I remember the trash talking and chest thumping to be pretty frequent. Not much has changed in tier 5. In fact, BP was the one proclaiming skill back then when NSP kept throwing out the numbers blame.

To answer Kalkz about us being less respectful on Ebay, nothing has changed. Only difference is you’re still trolling / chest thumping but in a more annoying fashion so instead of half the guild disliking you, the whole guild dislikes you. Be proud you’re more annoying?

I really don’t remember anything about AR forum trolls since they’re always stuck in the middle. I do remember them always calling out 1vs2 though just like BP. BP / AR now in NSP’s position and doing the same thing.

AR zerg made two attempts at Bay and lost their borderlands shortly afterwards. Only 25 decided to defend the BL. Could have been helped. AR just didn’t respond quickly enough or logged as soon as they got pushed out of Bay.

That being said both servers are still LOSING at this time. Ebay as a server is just a flat out better server. We aren’t winning with numbers….no we are winning because we are better players.

Transferring to NSP was free. Transferring to Ebay was 40g each.

Funny cause while they were setting up to take your borderlands, AR had a decent sized zerg to take Ehmry garrison.

Sekz in NSP : A nice guild full of skillful and respectful players than i used to run & joke around with them all the time

The [rekz] dudes are friendly if you actually talk to them in game. The trash talking they do should be a motivation instead of something to whine about. If you get handled, admit it and try and figure out why.

A group of 10 or so of us [Crit] guys got into a fight outside Ehmry’s bay that was really pretty kitten tough, Ebay had people coming out of bay and we fought them outnumbered and were killing them but they were able to waypoint right back into bay. There were a bunch of [Rekz] dudes in the fight, and after a few waves of Ebay we finally got whittled down. So what does [Rekz] do? Wait for us outside the spawn and ask for some 4v4 and 5v5 and the like. We had some friendly fights (that made it clear we need to work on building our 5 man groups and working on those tactics) and even ran CoF with one of them.

They’re just having fun like we’re all trying to. Stop taking this game so seriously and unrustle those jimmies. I’m willing to bet [Rekz] ([Sekz] then) would have poked fun at EBay and AR guilds the same way they do now if they were the size they are now when they were on NSP.

And don’t pretend you don’t talk trash about the people you wipe in teamspeak. It’s a part of anything competitive don’t be such babies about it.

Hello, I have left GW2 for Hello Kitty Online because of the nightmares I’ve had about the state of WVW. In my nightmare, ANET buffed range of arrow carts again to balance against unnecessary warrior buffs that weren’t needed except for spvp.

Consequently, because of old habits, my new guild in HKO are getting called bots because we ballup tight while we speed clear Tuna Island with my 50 man skill group.

That’s the way of the zerg.

Once you zerg out roamers, you /laugh and /dance on them. But if you aren’t in your zerg, run behind your guard.

But it’s ok too, since most of them aren’t build to counter roamer. Most are build around spamming their AoE without targetting.

Or maybe battle was over and thief person wanted to make sure he tagged enough bodies to get loot/wxp for it. The battle lasted 2 seconds. The rest of the time was spent marking bodies so we can horde our badges.
