It is said the heavy armour class should get movement signet/trait. Does the warrior have anything like that?
Right know you could use traveller runes or shout build to permanent swiftness.

I think our lack of speed is a annoyance but seems right for a guard. You aren’t supposed to run from a fight anyway.

Yes, Warrior has warrior sprint trait…

tho, not every warrior use this trait…not every necro use the 25% speed signet, not every ranger use 25% speed signet….not every ele use 25% speed signet…name em all…

but at least they all have options…and we don’t…

i would not make myself feel better by counting on this or that anything we will get later…
having 25% movement is always nice…it’s like a dream come true for me…
and yea, i would trade all my shouts for that…i would delete all my alts and stick with my guardian for life…if only… T_T

Remove SweetFX/GemFX. Yes. It sucks. That’s the price of admission currently.

You can put the SweetFX in the main folder like it used to be and use the -nopatchui

same here…stuck at Initiallizing….i’ve tried guild wars 2 repair, but then the repair always not responding

my golden rule : i play what i want and use what i want!

i cant really convince you, but i do have a reason why i love my guardian

1. i like blue, and guardian is about blue :p
2. awesome & elegant flashy skill
3. decent damage, good survival capability
so on and so on…

tho i shall confess that i’m never happy with my guardian, because i feel like i was forced to use greatsword, but i dont want to and i do have a reason…so i use sword+focus and staff, which makes me kinda stress tinkering with my build, none have satisfied me yet, but i’m still trying and learning how to use my current build efficiently…

its true, GS is great and everything, i also love the GS build…

my only reason why i dont use GS is, very simple, i’m a human female, and i dont like human female GS auto attack animation, that’s all, and thats always been a pretty big deal for me…

as for the guardian itself, staying or not, you’ll need it someday…either you want to make one or need one in your party…

very useful for me…

ok i saw both stance tbh the male 1 looks abit unreal and the female 1 is the right way to hold a greatsword , also u know gs are actualy heavey i mean realy heavey , and u actualy want a female human hold the gs like idk arnold , that doesnt make sence at all , the game exaragated about males and showed them much stronger than they r XD even a male human cant hold a gs like this all the time , if female hold the gs like male human that would be super unreal and weird tbh , also u might think gs stlye is only apply for samurai swords but no look at legendries they look pretty heavy XD

it’s the auto attack animation i’m talking about…

humale female has the same stance as norn female, but the animation is different, the norn female feels more powerful, spirited, and not clipping with the ground which is pretty bad looking, you’re not gonna say that picture is the right way a GS swung right? how can you swing a GS when it’s stuck on the ground…

For what it’s worth, my Ranger (human female) uses Greatsword, and the animation has never bothered me, either with its realism (or not,) speed, clipping, or whatever.

i know…it’s different animation, ranger human female GS auto attack is cool, i like it, but not for guardian and warrior…

i just dont want to bump old threads

so…some people liked it, and some dislike it…for me, i honestly dont like it…

if you’re gonna say something like something mentioned in the thread i linked above, about “that actually pretty accurate” or “look at this actual greatsword stance” and give some photos with actual GS stance in real life…

fine, i’ll just agree with you,…

but look at the photos in the attachments, the sword clipping with the ground, does that looks accurate to you in real life?

i mean, fine, keep the stance (tho the stance also clipping with the ground sometimes depend where you stand), but what about the auto attack animation? i feel so weak and unenergetic…

short story, is there any plan to change the human female greatsword auto attack animation in the future?
or at least make it like norn female GS auto attack…that’d be good…
if human male can wield and swing GS like a baseball bat, why can’t human female does it more like female norn? or something different to make it look more powerful…

and that “eek” voice is just annoying… :p

the only thing i hate is the daily pvp, i mean, do i really have to make all 8 profession?

why force me to do pvp with mesmer or thief or whatever class i do not have…

what if i only have 5 character slot? and all of them are 80….and then the daily pvp ask me to win with mesmer….so i have to buy another slot? or do i have to delete one of my 80 just to make mesmer and do daily pvp?

the other dailies are fine for me…but seriously this one is ridiculous…

and this also affecting the pvp itself, where i met a team with 4 mesmers and my team has 3 mesmers….mesmers everywhere all day…because the daily says you have to win with mesmer…the same goes when the daily says you have to win with necros or other spesific class…

huff…i hope anet will change this in the future…
