i remember the old days when anet’s support is actually answering to my tickets, humans, not bots…and that is within 2 days tops…

i’ve sent 4 ticket already within 2 weeks, and none get responds…

we are having this issue,…like…everyday…since HoT….and before HoT…

and my internet is fine…

thief was just a sample, not trying to point out anything…i know other classes can does the same…

yes the switching is immediate, well, you have to open Hero Menu first, then select your build, at least that’s what i can imagine…

IMO, OOC alone is not enough, i agree you can still manually change while OOC but this 1-click switch build should never require only OOC, not in WvW…

this “disengage & return with counter build” is the only problem, and the only solution is to force the player to return from the start, like from spawn, or even to re-load the map and re-enter the queue…

as for pve, do it only if you are in city…there, good enough…

still no response from devs, i just want to know if this feature is even considered or not…

like preset, you know…you set a certain build, put the armor, trait and skills and all, then save it, name it what you want, let’s say “preset 1 : cancer condi build” then save

then preset 2 : blablabal build

then if you want to change build you just have to click it…

still, for each build you have to put the armor, so if you have 2 builds, then you have to actually have 2 set of armor.

it’s still better than having to click them one by one trait by trait utility by utility…

i dont remember reading someone says wvw player need ascended armor, but i do remember someone said since pve and pvp have access to ascended armor and backpack, why not also giving it to wvw players…or something like that…

if they can’t change the pose…i want at least the AA animation to look exactly like norn female…it feels so powerful…not human female with random squeeky voice…and so weak AA moves…

so you agree thief not gonna survive 15 ppl? then thats exactly what my post all about, how is thieves can survive 15 ppl throwing nuke at him while in underwater and why is this exist in terms of balance…

can’t really remember what the animation looks like, at first he was running in circle when he was chased by us, then he slowed down his move, and finally just stand there evading all attacks until his hp went back to 100%, evade, evade, evade, evade, until we decide to let him go…idk how long we chased them…more than 2 minutes for sure…

let’s say he’s not cheating, and he really is a skilled player, that’s perfectly fine, i’m not complaining about skilled player and his class….but is this what anet really want in their so called balance? an untouchable class in all types of battleground? wow…

i met one thief one day, he as on garrison, we have like 20 ppl chasing, no one can touch him, so we let him go…

but this thief, if he’s so skilled, he would have the same skill as the thief i met on garri….but he’s not, we can catch him on the ground and killed him several times….so that means this underwater evade evade skill doesn’t need too much high skill….you can tell where the problem is…

i’m not overexaggerating….do you really think it can still survive 15 ppl?

like i said, i’m not accusing the thief is cheating, or hacking,….on the ground it is still catchable by some skilled players, but in underwater also? with all those classes attacks? just….wow….

i’m really aware that some skilled thieves are untouchables on the ground…

but how is thieves also untouchables in underwater?

last night, we chase 1 thief, at first only 3 ppl chasing him, he run to underwater…the thief was only 25% HP left…

when our team found it the thief didnt die, they came to us and hit the thief hard…like 15 people came…

when in underwater, all he does was evade, evade, evade, evade, evade, evade, evade, …

he has regen and his HP went back to 100%, not a single power or condi damage he’s taken even with 15 people attacking….

how is this even exist in the game? what is anet really mean by “balance”…

thief was already untouchable in the ground for so long, ok thats fine, i lose hope anet will nerf it anyway, so i can just ignore it…now i just found out about this….

i already report the thief, not because i accuse him of cheating, i just want anet to look deeper into this class, and they should know that even with 15 people attacking, its still evade, evade, evade, evade, evade, evade, evade, evade, and his HP went back to 100%…

he didnt even try to run, he just trolling us in the water until we ended up we letting him go…

Since pve players now can buy infusion with other than laurel, i think it’s only FAIR if wvw players can also buy wvw infusion with wvw currencies, like badges of honor or proof of heroics,

just sayin…

if i just want those stats bonus, the AR would be useless, +1 damage bonus to lord from wvw infusion is more useful for me whos not doing fractal…

i’m just saying SoS used to be less sieges than now and fights more, and i’m letting people know about that if they don’t, hopefuly, someone will inspire sos to go back the way it was, so the comment about sos siege humping will be no more..

i was in SoS when the matchup YB v SoS v FA, i know how YB and their sieges, at that time my guild and sos players are not siege humping and they also didnt like what YB does,
and when i moved to server and eventually face SoS, me and my guildies was kinda surprised to see what sos does, i’m not going to tell the details but yea they did the same like YB does, well, less organized. but, i’ve never known sos like that when i was in sos…

idk which guy / commander / guild who inspired them to do so, but i think it’s the new players causing them to siege humping more, because i rarely see those siege humpers are the one i know when i’m in SoS….mostly some unfamiliar guild tag, well, i do know that one guy who is kind of experts at sieging in sos…

i personally think there is no need to remove the tomes, or add reward track, what we need is something to purchase with the tomes of knowledge…

perhaps convert it into proof of heroics,…or anything idk…

the tomes helped us leveling our new toon with level 80 by doing wvw, and we dont have to grind PvE to get it to 80….you who already have all 80 toons might not care about this…

and the ExP is removed from WvW, if tomes were removed, for new players or new toon they have no other way to level up except grinding in PvE, or PvP, if they are good enough to win every matchto get it faster…
and obviously you dont want to see uplevel in your zerg do you?

you want to get impressed by the one you kill and walk like a boss? go play necro or guard, or scrapper, anything except those i-poop-my-pants runners class… :p

Not sure…but if its for myself, i’d like having 5 tiers, with 3 server for each tier, 4 seems too few, more than 5 is too many, i dont know how you make it work by merging the server, and actually merging it, not linking.

Deployable Mortars – Do you want to be able to buy and deploy Mortars?
We already have AC to hate….so no…

Deployable Cannons – Do you want to be able to buy and deploy Cannons?
Same as above…

Repair Hammer – Do you want to be able to spend supply to repair siege?
No…

Hi, uhm….about the topics…

Can we change or add the option so the commander can choose whether his tag will be visible for everyone or just for his squad?

What we have right now is the option to see all commander tags or just the one in your squad, unfortunately, i think most people don’t really care and ignoring this option, while some do need to see multiple tags on the map.

The request i made will help smaller group to do closed raid, havoc, etc so we don’t have to set target on 1 person, so we can use the target command for, well…set target on enemy.

There is some guilds out there who prefer doing closed raid in WvW, to keep their raid organized,
or to force people to come to TS by not inviting them to squad except they are on TS, again, this is to help them organized their zerg better.
The downside is, you probably won’t getting numbers because they don’t see your tags, well, just make it visible to others, problem solved.

Perhaps this will also help in another game content, in PvE perhaps, or guild mission, for those who tag up only for his guildie and don’t want to attract people on map. idk.

yeah the lag, and i got lag only in ebg, anywhere except ebg is fine,…already send a ticket and got responded and suggestion but none of em works, i think its because the large population in ebg, but i had the same huge fight in BL’s and no lag, but in ebg, even when theres no tag, no huge zerg, i got 3k ping and ended up dc…

i honestly like the idea, and i will be buying this…but…

i already bought 2 copper fed salvage o matic, and 2 royal terrace pass, on purpose so i dont have to go run back all the way to the bank so my other characters can use it, now i feel like i was terribly mistaken about buying them twice, with shared inventory in on gemstore, it is completely useless now that i have 2 copper fed & 2 royal terrace, i wish there’s some way to refund, or trade them…or anything so it wont go to waste…

the 2nd time i read something like this in guardian forum today, god i’m so happy… xD

why because i too not using the meta, has always been sword/torch or focus and staff…while people keep forcing me to use GS or whatever…

idk but i like sword, and it fits my playstyle, i know what i’m doing and well aware of the dps lost…

now with radiant fire and amplified wrath i feel like i dont have to use torch because the blocks are pretty useful and it give burns on succesful blocks

btw i played mostly wvw, but still carrying the same thing on pve and dungeons,…sometimes i asked the party 1st if they dont mind me not using GS (it’s mostly just easy dungeons like AC) if they dont like it i simply leave the group…

Corruptions DO NOT need any self inflicted condition as they are NOT strong enough on their own. any other profession with those skills would not have a self-inflicted condition.

the staff never leave my 2nd weapon slot, it works well with both condi and power build,

good for tagging, slowdown enemy movement, interupt stomping/rezzing enemy by giving em fear, etc, it’s been pretty useful for me until now…pve, wvw or pvp…

-plague = still have to figure out how to use it properly, that long CD tho
-lich form = now? i only use it for /dance
-flesh golem minion = to show ranger, mesmer & thieves “hey, i got some backup too”

hahah i dont use elite skill a lot right now, just, i dont know what to use…hhhmm…perhaps i should start using that mistfire wolf… :p

As for builds, I’ve played around with using a scepter/dagger and focus for about 30 or more levels for a condition build but it seems most folks tend to look down on Necros who use conditions so I’m playing around now with Araskell’s build that he posted earlier.

one little advice, never use condition build for map completion,

why? some heart quest require you to hit structures which will be taking forever with condi build (assuming you are using rabid, not carrion or sinister)

if you are using rabid, trust me, even green zerker equipment does it faster…i already tried that… T_T

i think this is what most power necro run, something like that…

works well in wvw and pve, well i don’t do dungeons, but if people looking for zerker, this should do just fine…if they want a necromancer that is.. :P

feel free to change the elite skill, off hand with warhorn or focus, or replacing well of power, with, i dont know, signet of spite, blablablabla etc etc….plague signet perhaps (i do that sometimes in certain situation) according to your needs, and the elite skill since i dont use it a lot…

people below me might know more about condi build xD

trial and error, feel free to try and choose anything what you think is fun…

i’m a zerker wellomancer, so, it’s pretty much like what your guildies said, stay in backlines, drop wells, use dagger for defense.

well, not a 100% like that, but i think it’s all depend on how you wanna play, just go for it, and be sure you are prepared for what you are planning to do…

sometimes i go backlines, sometimes i use axe main hand so i can go a bit to the frontline and tag 1 man to kill, sometimes i just rush in use dagger yolo style…but that doesn’t work most of the time, i need to learn more to do that, and i felt some difficulties to counter those cc skill, and you know necro has no good mobility…

there’s always an option, you just have to try it, trial and error…then you’ll find your place…

well it’s not a top tier pvp, it’s not a ranked pvp, neither i’m a skilled player, but i don’t think it’s completely useless…

i left all my alts for this, deleting 4 my 100% map completion alts, ditching my main guardian, so i can focus with necro as my new main, dissapointed yes, i know how stressed i am with necro and the latest patch, but after all, it’s fun beating other people with something they looked down upon…so i decide not to running away…

ps : i dont do dungeons or fotm so i dont have to worry about how people cry don’t like having a necro in their party…

except i’m using D/D, full zerker, scholar runes, and plague signet,
i change main weapon with axe while running with zerg, and use that axe trait…

my skills are pretty average tho, not as good as the one in the video, but yes, well’s are good if you do it right, of course no one would just stand there and enjoy the pulse..
