I need help with a build for my Guardian I just got him to level 80 and I would like to use him primarily as my WvW and Dungeon character. He also has a fire theme that I would like to keep.

Proposal Overview:

The mist a new frontier: the major problem I have seen in guildhalls for this particular game is the lack of land to place this type of infrastructure, the realm of the Mist would make a perfect home for Guildhalls.

Proposal Functionality:

The idea of this proposal involves an already in game concept, the lore and mechanics that revolve around the realm of the mist. How I would think this concept would work is that a guild would buy property (floating islands) in the mist and collect resources to build Assets like a Guildhall, Barrack or pub in the local marketplace. A guild can buy and combine more than one island and connect them through bridges kind of like the Edge of the Mists. Also another thing I would like to see in this concept is to be able to choose the biome of the island a guild can buy.

Associated Risks:

The problem I see is the currency that would be needed to buy islands and the assets to build the infrastructures. Would we use gold and crafting resources or would we use tokens like in dungeon that you would obtain through guild events?

To my understanding there has been no new information on this subject since the release of the source which make me question what bugs did ANet fix? Since about 30% of our damage is dealt through our pet this news is exiting if ANet really got down to the Bug Fixing dirt and fix allot of major problems that our class has.

but the question that drive this post is of Malyck child of a Mother Tree that is a sister of the Pale Tree

What is there physical appearance norms?
What are there guideline to there actions and culture?
What is there belief on religion?
How does there environment effects them?
How does there Mother/Father Tree effects them?
What are there social norms?
How does there politics works?

One thing i would like for A-Net to change is the fractal weapons skins to be account bound until equipped, since FWS are more rare then ascended and you cant choose what skin you want it would make allot more since to have the item account bound before use.

For me i would like a toggle system if we cant get two slots for shoulders so i have one shoulder showing and one hidden, I also would like that on gloves.

Ranger: Read the Wind Ranger: Your arrows are swift and deadly, but in some scenarios they are not as fast as they need to be and your enemies can dodge them easily. With Marksmanship’s new Read the Wind, your longbow arrows will fire at twice their base velocity, allowing for supreme accuracy at long range.

To my understanding this MT will just make the arrows quicker by a un-told percentage (note: i don’t know whats the Base Velocity of the arrows are atm for LB and SB) but if this MT just effects the speed of base range attack then it’s just a hot fix for a class combat mechanic and should be add as normal fix for ranger’s range attack and not a MT. this trait is to binding because any LB/SB ranger would have to equip this treat just to fix a major problem with the weapon mechanic that we had since release.

But if the Ranger Class devs team add not just speed but also a higher attack power and a percentage around 15 to 20 of a Knockdown or Root effect for about 5sec then this would be a great MT for us rangers

On the same note but a different subject i would hate if ANet gives us rangers these MT without fixing rangers pet ability to attack a moving target or the lack of. And would be worse if the devs make a MT that would give the pet ability to attacking a mobile target, this should be added as a fix not an MT.

I think if the race were to have short hair that they would be more apt to sport various hawks and undercuts. They would have sported braids for sure. I would like to see the end of the magical disappearance of my beard when I wear open faced helms and more Icelandic beard and mutton chop options. As it is I find a majority of the beards look Mongolian, there is nothing wrong with that mind you but I don’t want to look like a mongol, I am of Norse decent and would like my avatar to look Norse.

Though you could argue they are norn and not norse, of course, but still yes I would love to see the menfolk to get a bit more beard styles to show off!

They are not Mongols either, yet many of their facial hair options look to be inspired by them. Being of Welsh, Briton, and Nordic descent that has greatly influenced the design of my avatar and it is no secret that the race was inspired a great deal by the culture of the Picts, Celts, and Anglo-Saxons of Great Britain. I only meant that I personally would like to see more inspired by the Norsemen. I also think it would be cool if there was an option to give my norn sideburns like Wolverine or Toombs, I probably would purchase a makeover kit for that.

I love my ranger its my main and first guildwars2 character and i love having sword ranger even though i want duel swords (Note. Yes legend of drizzts is my favorite book series) but man Hornet sting can kill it if used wrong which happens like 40% of the time after i trained myself on how and when to use that skill. but allot of time i get way into the battle at hand i forget that there some type of cliff behind me.

Ankittenhe only one that put a red sticker on my No.2 button on my keyboard so i would think before i use HS?

I would like to change HS to a Leap attack like Monarch’s Leap that also give a chance to Knockdown the target, and its tap would be a skill that stuns the target

I hope A-net will take us to at-least half of Maguuma because we need a breath of fresh air. And yeah i need a more updated map that haves the southsun on it.

But one place bother me the most on the map is the empty zone between Sparkfly Fen and Timberland Falls, and the reason why is that its just a hole and all of the zones around it have been explored but this zone for some reason has not.

Before we go knee deep into Maguuma jungle to fight Mr. Doom and Shrooms would it make more since to open these zones (Look at attach image) for exploration, since they are so close to zones we have explored?

Dont get me wrong i do want to head to Maguuma but i hate having empty hole in the map.

Since it seems that we sre going down the earthy route of Tree god dragon of doom and shrooms and Sylvari’s, i hope A-net go more into the second Sylvari race that was shown in the Sylvari PS about Malyck and a second grove with its own mother tree.

Ok in Scarlet death cinematic after the drill hits the world energy vein a pillar of light flows out of Lions Arch and great crack forms into the terrain heading towards Asurain territory through what seems to be a Asurain city or fortress (note: its hard to tell if this is a new location that we have not seen yet and also the structures does not look like it could be Rata Sum) another pillar of light spills forth into the land.

this makes me question is there more then what going on here and maybe just maybe two dragon has awakened into the world.

I been trying to get HRes, HDef screenshots since I’ve seen a lot of people posting on different sites such as tumblr.com

At the moment I’ve been using fraps to take screens but still the images don’t seem to be as crisp as the ones i have seen around the web and since Printscreen is not working with GW2 I can’t take a raw image.

I’ve been using photoshop to do some edits more with light and surface texture but it still seems dull

Fractal of the mists has been out for about a year now or little bit more, I don’t know the exact date and now we have living stories including a multitude of weapons and armor that came out since the fractal update. There several awards you can get from the fractal dungeon like the three tier back piece including in dungeon reward weapons and a plethora of ascended rings, but what about fractal armor that you can receive through dungeon or dungeon tokens like the ones you get from the previous dungeons. Fractal armor would be a unique armor said both in artistically style a unique trait; the armor should resemble the fractal weapons and back piece without the use of reason hinting previous armor’s.

I wonder did A-Net create concepts art and was planning to introduce fractal armor within the game and was cut short from some other more important content?

Since we players don’t have all the air instruments emotes like we did in GW1, instead we have Real instruments like the flute that play tones with the 1-0 keys in the BLTP and since people love the this type of give cash get fluff content why don’t A-Net add more?

There allot of great instruments out there, but the one i would like to see in game is the hang-drum also called the space drum
