I been waiting for Tengu to become a playable race for some time, i have two open spots for a male and female. A new race means new lore and lands to explore and character forging and new adventures to go on.

Here some of the races i would love to role as

Skritt: this should be an easy add since we do have skritts looking to make a major city hub for all skritt and to what i understand if you get anough of them together they can create new objects and building without using base materials from tech and scraps from other races. There allot that they can add to the lore

Kodan: The only problem or should i say with kodan is that they look like Norn bear transformation but i think this race can add allot of story to the game. I would love to see anet destroy and rebuild Hoelbrak like they did with LA with the joint team work of the Norns and the Kodans refugees to make a stronger city… Norn/Kodan architecture for the win

There allot of races, cultures and lands i would like to dive deeper into and i just dont hope we dont just get playable races but also new races all together.

Is it just me that would like to other types of gliders and backpacks.

Dont get me wrong everybody dont like the things i do and i understand that., but for myself the wings kills my immersion and world building under gw2 lore constraints.

I would love to see different types of gliders like maybe a Charr helicopter glider or a Asura tech glider, i think an Pact glider that based off the visual concept of the new pact weapon skins would be cool.

Im just saying there allot more in the concept pull then just wings and i hope we get to see them.

No offense but that thing looks like a giant purple blod. extremely low poly count with no details at all except for a low quality bump map and the particle effects are overkill.

I would like to see the same modeling artist that worked on the bladed armor and the particle effects technician work on nice high game poly count and well set up effects farmer for high end game armor.

at the end Splinter Edge and i look at the little flag and remember the fun we had reaching new heights

so last night i got bored in our guild hall… Guild: [SKY] Sky Edge Piracy | Hall: LP

so i went and bought 5 wood tables and decided to go on an epic adventure with them, we went all over the guild hall trying to see what we could find then it struck me lets climb the tallest thing in LP. So our adventure was on 5 wooden tables and a Norn after two hours of climbing this is what we have saw

Its seems like Anet is getting rid of all the unique lore based festivals which is sad. Both DB and BotFW was two of my favorite things that come around once a year. will they ever come back or new lore festival be created?

DB seems like it been replace by Lunar new year with all that dragon ball pvp event, don’t get me wrong i like LNY but thats a festival that based of the real world holiday and does not have any lore that supports why its in game.

I kinda understand why BotFW not being used at the moment with the wind people all scattered and stuff… “Note anet needs to go back to that story line maybe the Zephyrites are building a small city in SW or moving back to that one place we held BotFW and rebuilding that place to be there home”

But ANet please bring back or come up with more unique festivals maybe some that based around the other non-human races.

But personally i think they need to rethink the main ingredients for scribe like lens seed oil… does everything in the guild have to be about that oil. Why dont anet add copper, silver, gold and add lyn seed oil as the new currency?

Sigh, this topic again. Designing the starter map/city and getting existing skins to work with the tengu character models alone would be a lot of resources for little gain in my opinion. All you are getting out of it is a character skin and some racial elites no one would use.

First off not everybody likes the same content as you do for my self i would love new places to explore why im leveling new characters. Its not just new skins and skills its new places, new stories, new lore, new culture and new characters to fall in love with.

Im not a combat type gamer. Im more into exploring and lore including making my characters my own with there own back stories and personalities… so yeah i would love tangu’s skritts and whatever race anet planing on goving us in the future.

I think what gw2 should have done is make all armor weapons skins craftible like monster hunter….. also do a more detailed like vgsoh

The Fleet
We are sky pirates that call the open skies home. We live upon the mechanical titans of chaos and freedom, our airships. Without them we would be chained to the lands that brought us into this life. For some of us , going back to these lands is not possible, for others the freedom and adventure offered by an airship is a siren’s call. The iconic airships are the livelihood and safe heaven for the people that live and work under these metallic leviathans, zeppelins powered by various energies and armed tooth and nail with destructive weapons.

We gain our airships through commandeering them from Aetherblades and Trade ships. Most of the time these ships are damaged to great extent and must be repaired and redesigned by our shipwright team. The ships are repaired using parts and pieces scavenged mostly from downed Pact airships that can’t be repaired, also from other technologies found throughout the nations of Tyria. Because of this, our airships are of a different design from the average Pact issued airship.

Fair Lady Tempest
The Fair lady Tempest is the flagship of SkyEdge fleet captain by the guild leader captain Commander Vrohn Madthane she is well known throughout Tyria as being one of the most dreaded pirate battleships that ever took to the sky.

She’s both a owl and falcon class battleship this makes her fast and swift ship with medium armaments including tactical command of the battlefield and the ships under her ward, She has the characteristics of a master swordsman and a veteran tactician. Her crew and captain taking up the banner of professional misfits but when roused to fight they become a storm of legendary magnitude.

Tangled Swordfish
This airship formerly belonged with the royal Krytan fleet and was known under the name Cynn’s Retribution. It was tasked with the escort of high priority caravans that transported artifacts from Maguuma jungle excavations back to Divinity’s Reach and Lion’s Arch. After Eladamri had been set up by the Black Lion Trading Company and a bunch of Krytan nobles for supposed trade manipulations, he didn’t think twice when he discovered the Cynn’s Retribution tied down for maintenance at an excavation site. In an act of revenge he planned an attack on the ship with his newly gained allies of sky pirates and overwhelmed the former crew at the black of night by application of multiple poison gas grenades, derived from potent Hylek alchemy. As a result only few were killed in the assault and the sky pirate crew claimed the ship for their own. Since then it has undergone considerable modifications and improvements to prepare it for its new task – piracy.

so i been going through the guild decorations list and i noticed there was no types of beds in the list this kinda bothers me since my guild is sporting LP and there like 50 rooms that are not used and my guild mates want to them for there own living quarters.

another thing i would like to see is tents of many sizes and shapes like the Pact tents you see in Dragon Stand and Orr. With GH having no rooms for living places this would be great for immersions.

talking about immersion the guild hall feel a little dead even if your in a big guild there no animals running around like cats, dogs, rats and birds also since guild halls are such a big places you would think there would be more NPC going about there life, like trying to clean up the hall……. IDK the halls just feel dead to me

one thing i would like to see more of is decorations that can be interact with, like a chessboard, cannons or something

the one thing that been troubling me about in this game the lack of emotes even with GW and other MMO’s this game has just a drop worth of emotes. i can understand why Anet did not add the air instruments like GW with the point we have playable instruments but i do think they need to add more emotes in the game.another thing that been bothering me since im a RPer is the /ems i love that we can have a custom emotes but the grey text makes everything in the chat bored look like it’s a big grey blob. can anet change the name color to green like the character says and the content color stay grey?

Let us also talk about sitting in chairs, i can understand why Anet have not made this possible with all the armor in game would not act like it was clothe that would fold around the chair for the person to sit in. so i would like to ask the player base would you mind every time your character would sit in a chair the armor switch to town clothes?my idea for chair siting is an emote /chair this would pop up a racial style chair that your character would sit in also your character would change into the town clothes.

In the guild roster there white name and there grey name, the white names as the last character log in info and the grey names does not the guild wiki does not say anything about it.

and the sad thing is Divinity Reach starting to slack, only one small area one small slice of that pizza pie the humans call a city is decorated. What happened to the Wintersday budget what the queen buying with it surely not good protection for her city with all the orphans present being stolen from a Grawl no not Grawls, Grawl like a single one grawl team. we also know she not spending it on shoes for the spirits sakes she walks around with out them like a hobbit….. wait wrong, o never mind.

But think about it we could have eggnog brawls in Hoelbrak, decorate the pale tree contest in the Grove, Shoot presents out of a mortar battles in the Black Citadel and defuse snowball bombs in RataSum idk asura they crazy something to do with all the self-inflicted explosions.

we have not had any CDI topics for some time now and i wonder if Devs planing on doing more CDI’s threads in the future?

at the moment HOT been out more than a month and we players have a lot of thoughts on different features of HOT me included.

I would like to have a sit down post with devs to talk about the feature or features that’s highlighted on the post and ask question. unlike the CDI is just a brain storm of players giving ideas to devs its more of talking with devs why did this happen what brought us here how we like to move forward. Another game did this a long time ago and it worked great it helped bring the community and the devs closers and relieve some stress from both parties.

TC at the moment is the only RP server…
It use to be a great server with allot of great rpers and rp activities but that all changed with mega servers. Know the only open world rp is pub rp and thats boring normal talk or nsfw type of stuff or you need to be in a secluded rp group.

Omg i hate that i have a BS in digital media and animation…. you guys are killing me
So in gw 1 there just one rig for both male and female since there no gender rig requirements like breast giggle and stuff like that you can have over 100000+ animations just saved in different files per animation its the coding that kills it. You need to every animation in the game with player command and constraints

For gw there 3 rigs for playable race human+sylv+norn is 1 char is a 2nd and asura 3rd those ears man i feel bad for the coder that had to code that. But since most of the animations emotes posture legs and arms movement then it should not be a problem for the animator if it was face animation then yeah that would take allot of time. The reason why i think anet did not add more emotes is that it takes allot of time from going from pre animation to import.

So here the problem with that even though the map is full or seems full of people we never hardly get past T1 mark during the night shift. i mean we have all the camps all good and nice before champs events drop but we still under T2 mark so what do we need to do to get to T4 mark at night shift?

Also another question i have does it matter what order i do day and night events can i do night first then day and vice versa?

My guild made up of half GW2 vets with HoT expansion and the other half Free to Play accounts. We made the gold and favor for a guild hall and im wondering can the ftp members help claim our guild hall?

I have two questions about guild decorations at this moment and some decorations ideas that i would like input on.

My first question is that i and my guild would like decorations to have a preview option like we have for armor, is this in the works and if not can it be doable?

My second question is about the size of decorations and how big can they be since it seem like most of the stuff we have is relatively small and by the end of customizing one hall there be allot of blank vanilla space?

Here some ideas i have for hall decoration that i have.
+Watch tower theme after Itzel tree house
+NPC that you can hire via pve or wvw content that walk around the guild hall and have fun but short conversation with other npc and you
+ NPCs that do cool stuff (for example do a quest to hire Kailani the Foolhardy to give her work space in your guildhall to build a mark 2 drop troop or scout helicopter) She will have a little platform and workshop to build and work on her helicopter on

Im not going to stop playing the game but i am going to stop looking at the forum for like a month.

The thing is since HoT drop the forum is dropping like 50 stacks of posion on my mood, it has not even been 24 hours yet. I think the major problem is that people know of days want every thing to be given to them and want to run through content like it was nothing.

I just downloaded hot and what i have played so far i love…

One thing i checked soon as i downloaded is BL and i see you guy brought in a new outfit, thats nice and all but the problem is that outfit looks like it should be armor.

Since Anet brought out outfits i have bend seeing a trend that i dont agree on, most of the outfits look like armor, i can understand outfits that look like everyday ware or funny stuff and even armor that looks like it might have allot of cliping issues.

All im asking for is that you make cool looking armor that we can mix and match.

Not necessarily anime but animated. Animated tales can easily go beyond any live action ones because practical effects aren’t a concern and animation is loads cheaper than mostly realistic CGI. And since it’s not live action, I think it’s easier to suspend disbelief if something doesn’t “feel” right.

What anime has going for it, once you cull 90% of it, is there is still a lot of interesting stories and ideas that can be told on a fantastic scale. Loads more than what we normally get in the West every year.

I agree with Behellagh i would like to have animated shorts then anime the reason why is the cost and time to make a anime….. All that drawing frame to frame 3D animation you dont need to worry about drawing every frame since twining.

I would love to see the same team that worked on SW the clone wars work on it

It bugs to no end that Ranger team added new pets but did not fix the ability to save the names of the pets we swap out. I think that a good number of Rangers out there ask a begged the Ranger team to fix this.

Understand this im a light to medium rper that have not change my pets out sonce launch because the name will not save. My companions is iconic and apart of my character and without the ability to save there names i can’t enjoy having more companions

I main Ranger and ranger is my favorite also i dont have to many scrapes with druid but i do have on big scrape with this elite

My scrape is that your replacing one half of ranger pet mechanic with an elite mechanic that is the Pet F5 skill and with Druidic Avatar…….. With all the other classes elites you did not replace or feel like you replace the mechanic of the class. Could you change druid mechanic skill from F5 to F6 so we can still use are pet F5 skill even if the green spirit bar thing is full?

One thing i think we as the gamers of GW2 dont have is Asura and Charr style Armor, i feel since launch that most of the full set armor that was given to us has been hum,sylv,norm stylized. I love the aesthetics culture of the Asura and it fits with the lore of my Norn Ranger main character…

Anet can we please have more shinies

So with the new elite coming out and new ones in the future sooner or later every class will have every weapon type in the current game. What will happen after that will Anet put out more elites that maybe changes up your weapon skills or will they add new weaponry types? I hope for the later but i would be ok with new weapon skills for my sword ranger.

I want this post to be about coming up with new weaponry types for what class and 2hat skills these weapons should have. Lets just have fun coming up with ideas and commenting.

Yeah maybe like 1 or 2 ships moving in and out of LA per 30mins… But yeah we should have like 20+ boats docked on the Red Lobster and butter dock… and maybe like 15+ small ships docked through out the bay

So Lion Arch is the top dog of trade and even more in naval trade in the game at the moment but since there no major cities except Rata Sum and Cantha, Elona is barred who else could they trade with?

What in the name of Grenth happened to all the ships…. This is the number one coastal trade nation in the game and there like no ships in the air and the sea.

I have a short story in my head about lion arch ship:

Kid: Wow lion arch is like shinny and new

Dock Worker: Yep even though it took like two years two rebuild it “more like one night by the great gods of Anet, I mean it took like15 npc’s working day and night on it for a year and nothing happened and then here come Anet sprinkling there magic growth fairy dust on everything and boom we have SeaWorld with cannons and Quaggans”.
