All of you randoms who said Power rev is bad because of shiro heal nerf are all boosted apes. Power rev is still the best power specs in the game. The must have of every team comp. In fact, they can even remove shiro heal and rev will still be use.

Dude post a 28 sec video of him losing by 300 points and to kick the dog, he wins a 2 vs 1 vs a DH who is clearly spamming traps.

The DH literally doubled down on his traps just a few feet from one another when both players popped out.

The class is balance, people just need to use their Brains. If a DH is on point, 99% he already has a trap. So just play accordingly.

NA tournament one. I think the best time would be around 7 or 8 central. That usually the times NA tournament happen from my experiences.

Thanks for taking initiative to organize a tournament during PvP downtimes. I can give you a few suggestions from my tournament experiences and organizing one. Instead of using email to organize teams, try Battlefly.com system, they got everything in simple formats and most PvP players who play tournament like myself are used to Battlefly.

Also, idk if 9 PM PST is the most convenient for you but if possible please consider pushing it back to 7 or 8 PST. The reason for that is from my tournament experiences, if more than 6 teams sign up the matches will take at least ~2hrs to played out unless you run 3 arenas simultaneously to reduce time.

As for casters and streamers, I can hook you up with Gamewithstorm, Jebro, Aerodynamique, OlrunTheBlade, etc. All are well known casters/Players in the PvP community. Just send me a mail In-game if you need any more help since I’m interested in helping amateur tournaments to help bring PvP back to life.

Rarely do I see people with a brain that can discern what the true problem is like this guy above me. Most of what he said is very true. kittenters just can’t accept the fact that they’re bad. If you play a sub-optimal build and get farm it not the system fault. Yes, MM can improve and meta could be better. However, this meta is better than Bunker mes meta which is the primary cause for the viewerships decreased throughout the PL season.

All of you kids who said GW2 is P2W. Duel one of my boys for 500g. They will use vanilla specs and you can use the “OP P2W specs” and they will still farm all of you kids. All you kids whining about GW2 P2W just need to “git gud” 4Head

Abjured get carried by cele amulet, yes. However, they are still the best team NA even now, the reason why every tournament they keep getting worse and worse is because there is no competition in NA, PZ and NL are the only close contenders for abjured. A team cannot get better by playing teams worse than themselves. A team can only improve by playing teams of equal or better skills level than themselves. And if a team scrims against teams worse than them long enough, their skills and rotations level will eventually regress.

This shown very clearly in how little mistakes are made on EU vs NA teams. NA rely too much on team fights while EU rely on outsmarting each others. Rotations trump mechanical skills. Abjured can’t improve themselves if there is no team equal to them, PZ and NL came close to them but they still worse than abjured. I am not fanboying abjured, I’m just putting things into perspectives, saying they are no good with cele amulet is just dumb. They can use the same “kitten” comp they used in WTS and probably will still stomp most teams on NA.

I remembered when leaderboard “skill based” bas around and only top 500 get llamas instead of everyone caw get llamas with 1 hr of grindings. I think I was top100 or something b4 they took it away. The leaderboard back then was kinda Grind too but at least you know most of the people on there. Now you have random PvE heroes who got legend cuz they spam enough games to get carry

Thanks man, many people whispered me on twitch/In-game or send me In-game mail saying despite the dank productions value and shaky start my tournament still more entertaining and fun to watch than actual Professional ESL and Pro League matches. Some even send donations asking for another tournament exactly the way I ran it, with dank memes and stuff with it. That really speak volumes about the state of this game and the whole “eSport” (LUL) Scene in general tbh

What rar suggest should have been a thing since beginning. No point in limiting pip range when people got legend. At least add an option to let us chose if we wanna shuffle teams at end of every games and keep playing without having to re-queue or just copy paste Overwatch quick play system where teammates shuffle randomly and games keep going till more than half the players left. I often get same people after 15 mins wait anyway so what the point in the pip range in legend zzzzz

Basically this. A prime example of this is Bik who got carried by Kralled and I in a 350pts deficit game then proceed to made a cringe vid about it on YouTube. I actually stop queuing for like 1 weeks so all the bads I always have on my team move out of my pip range before I queue again. Carry them once or twice is fine. But tbh my grind to legend basically bads taking turns getting carry by me and other good players like Kralle, etc. But at the end of the day, it took ~130 games-ish I think to get legend. My Winrate was ~75-ish% or maybe 80% not sure. I’m not that obsessed over stats like most people on here. Granted I did 4 and 5 man during Ruby till mid tier diamond cuz I don’t wanna bother carrying bads but then I start soloQ the last 4-5 tiers of diamond and won most of the game I actually tried on. So while this season system is bad I would say it is doing its job by limiting the bads somewhat from getting easy legends. Although a few bads will still get lucky and get a lucky streak but it less than last 2 seasons.

Lot of people whispered me asking to summarize all the good duels and put it on YouTube with some edits. But tbh I’m not tech savvy to the point that I know how to cut and edit everything together. If anyone know how whisper me I can you you my twitch acct for vods or download it or whatevs

Hi, to those of you who hosted, watched, donated, the ANet Devs at the beginning of stream and the guys who helped me recovered during my 1v1 Vanilla Tournament. I am sincerely sorry for the mess at beginning and very thankful for those that stay and help me pull through with the whole tournament. Special thanks to these amazing people who normally BM me a lot but actually help me when it count: Aerodynamique, Jeff, Vallun, Throwny, Infantry, Tormey, Rar, Caspian, Marvin as well as my lurker mods who helped me moderate the cancer viewers during the hate storm.

I am very sorry for the disorganization, I planned to Finish everything on Friday But since I got work related issues I have to pulled a long shift so the next day I was just scramble to get things together. This is the only time I will host this kind of tournament again. To those of you who stay positive and said you wished me to host a 5v5 Vanilla Tournament in the future and even sent me donations already. I am sorry to say atm I will not touch anything related to GW2 Events. This experience made me realize I prefer my meme 20 viewers stream where I just have fun with my boys and do meme stuffs than organizing an event for the community who keep complaining about no events but when there actually one, most of the community just eagerly wait for the chance to burn a person down.

Shadow Arts is ban. You cannot permanent stealth without SA. Mods can still ban certain builds on the spots if it prove to be too cancerous.

hmmm your rules for necro bans means any use of any elite skill other then flesh golem (plague is kinda weak not sure why thats banned)would be banned since chill to the bone is not usable on account this is a Vanilla tourney….. however the next rule is that you can only have 1 minion…. does that mean necros cant use flesh wurm??? i understand the need to ban something like MM but flesh wurm is something id probably want to use since its very strong for kiting etc….. can you clarify if your rules mean you can run one minion utility or 1 minion total.

It slightly does but not that big of a gap between power necro and other power class for example. However without this rules some duels may last up to 10 mins.

How so? There is a huge difference between a power build using a zerker amulet and a condi build using a zerker amulet. The condi build will hit like a wet noodle while still being glassy. That’s an automatic win for the power build in any power vs conditions match that goes over 3 min.

You are allow to Swap builds in between sets. So even if you force to go on zerker after the first set you are allow to Swap to a power build.

Ah Sorry I should be more clear. This applied for each separate set. For example IF You were 1v1 someone for your first set of bo3 and it go over 3 mins. You will be asked to Swap to zerker. However, on the next set you can go and use another build that is not zerker just not that same build that you stalemate with. So you can make adjustments b4 you are ask to Swap to zerker.

Yes I realize some people want to play their AIDS builds like triple mantra Face roll Mesmer for example or using hot pet for ez wins while picking all defensive traits possible on vanilla ranger etc. The rules are in place to put certain classes mechanics that are clearly overpower compare to other classes thus give the lesser skills player the edge as long as they roll a certain specs. The rules are put together by my experience as well as high tier players inputs so if someone get turn off well suck for them they missing out on a chance for 500g and 800 gems while playing something fun instead of AIDS rank queue

It’s your tourney, I have no problem with making the rules “only zerk amulets on condi builds” or whatever you want to do. Your restrictions are just overly harsh IMO and I think you’re going to lose half your viewership based on that. I was interesting in watching it, but with the harsh rules I have lost interest.

Most other tourney’s just use the “zerk amulets only and don’t blatantly troll” rule or something and do fine. Zerk and no HoT stuff would be how I’d do it, but I’m not running this or putting up the prize.

The rules are partly in place to increase viewership. No one’s want to see 2 bunker guard going at it or triple mantra Mesmer faceroll keyboards to victory with stealth bursts. As I said I am just trying to minimize the cancers and make it more fun to watch.

You forgot to mention the fact that Kralle and I were taking turn 1v2ing far for half the game and winning most of them while simultaneously typing out instructions that should have been common senses to made that comeback happen. It a voting decisions by the people who are pick as moderators. It will not be decide by one person. Also, this is in place because if by some chance a random find a build that allow them to beat let say Toker in a mirror thief 1v1 when they in fact do not possess the skills then yes that cancer build will be ban.

What you deem as ban worthy is completely subjective and, frankly, you don’t have any credentials to be an authority on the matter.

I am a well known player at high tier but I dont expect a random like you to understand, it’s fine. Also, Jeff from NL one of the team that qualify for WTS LAN will be casting this tournament with me and it will be stream on either Marvin or Gamewithstorm channel. There will also be dank guests casters like Aerodynamique, Kralle, Kenya etc. All of whom are Pro Leauge or ex-Pro league players. Those are the one who will decide what build is cancer and what is not. The rules are what I compile of the players at high tier said they should be, not only my opinions or personal views. And I’ll take those players opinions over yours anyday.

This is in place as a measurement for potential AIDS brain-dead builds that may not be on the radar. Let me use an hypothetical situation for you to understand:
Let say I run a HoT 1v1 tournament back when Bunker mes was OP BUT no one discovered Bunker Mesmer exist and YOU somehow the godlike espurts player who theory crafted it, and we all know how aids that was. This rule is in place just in case we will most likely not ban anything you theory craft breh

Some of these bans are excessive. They were part of core gw2 and you are banning them. Not like ranger taunt is OP by any means now that it isn’t unblocker/unevadable… that’s just one example…… And for mesmer are you saying that you can only play condi mesmer if you are wielding a scepter? how dumb is that?

I originally ban condi mes however after some more inputs i decide to let it in. Also, Scepter cuz Dank memes breh. You can still run sword torch on other set if you wanna do the kitten stealth burst 4Head
