Q: Does leaving a match early affect my rating?
A: If you leave a tourney/ranked match early, yes, your rating is impacted as if you sustained a loss. Once you finish another match, this “loss” is then factored back into your rating.
They are not leaving to preserve their rating, they are just rage quitting.
The only thing anet can do is put some kind of leaver debuff on people leaving too often.

I doubt lag has anything to do with your server, especially for spvp since it is cross server.
I think they could start by increasing the cooldown of renewing stamina to10s.
Renewing stamina has already been nerfed and it’s not the real problem. Most of the vigor comes from cantrips since a bunker plays with <8% crit chance.
Also, nerf renewing stamina and eles will pick final shielding instead. Doesnt change much.
But they can’t maintain perma vigor with only traited cantrips ?

It’s ok dude. There’s nothing a warrior can do against a mesmer.
In fact they can’t do much against a lot of a classes, but the way a mesmer can evade, teleport, spawn illusions etc. just make fighting them infuriating.
I wish anet had not design the mesmer class the way they did.
Because when an ele doesn’t take those stun breaks they die quick to BS thieves/Shatter Mes/100B warr… and just about everything else…
Actually playing with just mist form is viable, people just go for the easiest option.

This was actually brought up not too long ago. It will be addressed when spectator mode is released.

Spectator mode will include a fix for this issue or you expect spectator mode to be used as a workaround to see every party member ?
This is a big issue when you play solo. You don’t know where your teammates are (not showing on the map) or if they are even alive (not showing on the party UI)…
Any plans to fix that ?
Bad luck I guess. Didn’t get any 4v5 or 3v5 lately other than people leaving during the match.
PvE simply has a much larger player base than PvP will ever have : gw2 is a mmorpg.
So the team that works on PvE content is larger.
As a company they focus on what the majority of their players want, and it’s not a spectator mode or new game types… you guys really need to realize that.
So unless spvp gets a massive population increase, pvp features will not come any faster that they have until now.
Have faith we were told that the ratings are being calculated now and “would be visable before the march patch and sooner then expected”
so that will bring more competitiveness then QP

Where did you get that from ?
Monitor the speech time, 20 minutes for each player and 20 minutes for Anet (the 2 devs). Notify people by private messages when their speech time is running out rather than aloud as it breaks the pace of discussion though.
This is especially true for J Sharp. If you’re reading this, please keep it concise.

Most of my games when I join solo are 4v5.
It’s the same as before, you just no longer have to invite party then submit.
We’ll have to see if invulnerabilities or evasion skill work with these as well. I hope they don’t.
It works, at least with ele mist form.
This might be a bit broken. Basically the first team to get to the node will take it if they have some kind of invul…
Does communion break stealth ?
Can 2 people from different team commune at the same time on the same node ?
