I thought it was just a perception issue on my part but, yeah, my Necro is now trudging along compared to last week.

Keep trying. I don’t think there’s any specific place – just shows up from coral.

All MMOs have this kind of attitude. Neverwinter really got bad when they released the Tiamat “raid” (lowercase and in quotes ’cause it was never a real Raid). Everyone wanted to run it but only the elitists were able to at first. After a while, some adjustments were made (and people learned how to run it efficiently) and it opened up for more players.

I’m biding my time on running a Raid so I’m not in a hurry to get rejected.

Great sound and mic. Even though it’s marketed for xBox, I’ve been using it on my PC for years. I like the fact that I can cut the mic on/off while in-game so I don’t have to worry about setting it up in Teamspeak.

I’m thinking about getting a new iMac so this thread is very interesting to me. Do the issues everyone is having also apply to the windows client running thru Bootcamp? Just curious as I don’t think anyone mentioned it. I know it’s not the best solution, especially with Apple’s forced drivers for video that are usually a few releases behind AMDs catalyst drivers.

I just checked AMDs site and the versions (windows 7 and OS X bootcamp) are both 15.x

Love this one – sums up my grind to level 80. Then again, aren’t Necros pretty much shunned in the stories anyway?

I have some guildmates that craft every night. Me, I’m very meh about it all, at least for now. I’m at 55% world explored so that and dungeon runs are mainly what I’m working on.

To me, the current crafting system is great if you want the Ascended gear or have the alts and gp to spare to level them up that way. Crafting isn’t bad, just not something that’s high on my list.

same here – one or two of the Sons won’t change so that I can attack. Please fix this folks. We can’t progress in our stories.

UPDATE: Helfen’s suggestion worked for me after 6 attempts before checking the forums. Open the gate but don’t charge or move until you see that all of the Sons are aggro’d. After you kill the first group, you’ll fight several more groups. I was able to finish this part of the storyline.

Good morning folks (at least, morning for EST),
My Necro just hit level 80. I am beginning to craft (Jewel and Artificing), running some dungeons and Edge of the Mists as well as event farming to get my trait unlocks.

I’ve been reading the guides/builds here and elsewhere and most of them mention that I need Berserker gear and scholar runes. I am enjoying the grind, exploring, etc but I want to make sure that my efforts are directed towards what I “should” be doing. For those of you that have a Necro at 80, what did YOU do after hitting max level? What gear did you chase after? How did you get it? Did you get all or most of your traits unlocked? What gear is a “Wow” moment for you when you get it?

Having lots of fun so don’t worry about recommending a grind – I’ve been playing a “cryptic” MMO for two years so I definitely know about “the grind”
