I agree with the above but especially with the rage skills. Except for outrage which provides a quick break out of stun and a 2s burn (traited) the skills are just glorified physicial skills which as mentioned many times are not what the warrior needs. The one niche things about the rage skills is they provide adrenaline however there are so many other ways to generate adrenaline and with how quick adrenaline decays increases how situational they are.

I like these changes only thing is extending the duration of Berserker or reducing the cooldown of Berserker seem to essentially have the same effect unless you are able to recast Berserker while still under Berserker.

Are you going to do anything about Berserker?

I have been doing some tests and it seems that Dual Wielding, Berserk and Quickness don’t stack to further reduce attack speed. Only the biggest attack speed buff applies.

The problem is that the Warrior has several other ways to get this bonus attack speed. Quickness through Discipline’s Heightened Focus which is arguably more reliable and allows the selection of other Discipline traits. And Frenzy which provides a stun breaker, 5 stacks of might and is easier to time (no adrenaline requirement). There are also consumables, ally buffs and much more to get Quickness. Further if dual wielding and attack speed is important then using Dual Wielding is superior to Berserk mode and frees up a Trait line.

I think a good change to the Berserker while also making it unique would be to allow its passive attack speed buff to stack on top of Quickness to further reduce attack speed.

0/2/6/6/0 condi SotF + Barkskin condi survival ranger; krait runes, sb + s/d or a/d + s/t, torment/earth/energy/geomancy sigils as you wish.

I heard it’s a top skill build that doesn’t carry you with passive effects, unlike power ranger.

Agree with this. Been running this in PvP very strong if u go a/d and entangle with shortbow really easy to get 15 stacks bleed. Seem to do very well against everything but mesmers and lots of condi removal

This would be extremely helpful. So many ranger traits have the feature of giving conditions or boons to pets, would be nice to see if this is actually the case.

I've Just Hit Level 80, How Should I Spec?

When i first hit level 80 i started to beef my warrior up with toughness and vitality trying going with the “tank” mentality specced into defense. All this lead to was doing less damage than other people.

Fast forward and I am rocking a power, precision, and magic find and specced into strength, arms and discipline and I have yet to find an encounter that I couldn’t deal with reason to spec otherwise (even arah can be done).

One thing to mention is you definitely want to get magic find gear. So the problem with sword + axe is it need both power, precision and condition damage (kinda hybridish) but with mf gone that leaves you with power and precison or power and condition damage (axe/axe or greatsword only needs power and precsion).

This is mainly in part to the following: Mending, Signet of Stamina, and Endure Pain.

With those three skills you should be able to survive any encounter and build your guy as glass cannon as you want.

Also make sure you have a ranged secondary for pve.

Beat it, wasn’t easy tho, took 2hrs (a painful 2hrs)
Note: I found that hiding UI with ctrl + shift + h helped remove distractions

Sylvari no speed boosts or anything
Charr no speed boost or anything (was harder with charr)

Regeneration and Healing Power

If I give an ally regeneration, for example through Healing Rain, whose healing power is used to decide the regeneration amount? Is the regeneration received calculated using the allies healing power or the person granting the regeneration’s healing power?

If the healing power is based on who gave the regeneration then how do the regenerations stack as different healing power will yield different regeneration amounts?
