Hi, i need your help.

So i normaly play ranger or guardian, but with the release of heart of thorns i wanted someting different.
so i started an engineer, lvled to 80 did all the story, did season 2 living story and now started with story of hot.

i have scrapper now and wanted to have a fun hammer build, with condition damage and that can tank.
but i can’t find the wright build.

so what do you think is good for that ?
it is for pve content and allready have rabid armor with rune of antitoxin.

Oke i get it :p so what is the best dps build than ? Or maybe different posibility’s ?

Hi, i am a guardian from the start of the game, i have a good build, sort of condi build, but i want to ask what you guys think of a condi build.
Can you guys help me to make a condi build, that is the strongest it can get with condi, what armor, what trinkets, what weapons, sigils ec…..
I want the most dmg out of it, direct or over time.

I know i wil have to go burning, so a burning condi build is what i want, so i hope you can help me.

well, Illuminati kinda brings it to the point.

I built 9 legendaries. I got >700 repeats on my hobby dungeon explorer. I like doing pve and I rly played alot.

BUT, after TWO YEARS, there is nothing, NOTHING new in part of pve endcontent. It’s getting rly boring running the same dungeons day after day.

WvW can be fun, but mostly it’s boring.

sPvP is upper crap. I rly enjoyed playing GW1 GvG, I played Top 100 til Top 20, so yeah I’d say I’m kind of a pvp player. But this GW2 “PvP” stuff, it’s just kitten.

Yes, you cant say, there’s no content, but you cant say there is, as well. It’s depending on the ppl and how they like to play the game/a game.
And for me, it should be clear. There is nothing, 2 years and nothing.
The only thing, why I’m still playing, there’s no other game that fits to my needs, but give me one and I’ll not stay for a second longer.

K i know what you guys say is true, as you play a lot you have done most of the stuff there is.
I play from the start but not 10 hours a day or so more like 4 hours a day and i play gw from the 3 year of gw 1 and i like it and i like the way they give new stuff for free and more.
So i know it always can be better, but gw is the only game that is so good that you can play it always with no worry’s of paying and play because you payed, and is not boring, and the lore is really nice and is brought at a good way to the players.

So why complaining all the time, just play and have fun and you will see what the future brings for gw.

As you realy want something rewarded for it back, and you want it to help you, you don’t have to game, it wil not help you in any way in real life.
And there is one thing that you get in reward, the fun of playing.
There are so much mmo’s that have the things people say is not as endgame in gw, why they just go play that game than. obviously not ^^

That is what i mean, why you think end game is high skill encounters, because it was in all the other mmo’s before gw2.
So you expect it to be so, but end game is, what to do after lvling, and i have said it already there is so much stuff to do after lvling.

So what i wanne say is, people always say gw had no end game and still have no end game, but the end game is what you make of it.
You lvl up with the new feature pack coming it will be mutch more rewarding, so mutch more fun. ( who don’t like more rewards :p)
But at lvl 80 it stops for most people, NO END GAME, NO END GAME, that is al that you hear, and nothing in the feature packs for end game.

What i wanne say is, the end game was there from the start.
I don’t say there was a little bit less at the start, but it was there.

You could do dungeons, lvl crafting, get legendary weapons, world completion, wvw + levling wvw, pvp, events, world bosses, personal story, then get ascended weapons and gear, new dungeon the mist that have so much lvl’s.
Then there was the living story every 2 weeks updates you get for free.
With other games you have to wait 6months or a year to get something and you have to pay for it.
Then there was the feature packs, collecting armor and weapons.
then you get new zones like carca zone, now dry top that still is not the whole zone.
And the next feature pack will be much more you get, new weapons and armor, pvp armor, i forgot the rewards in pvp you get with the previous feature pack, mini pet collection, the new collecting system, there is so much end game now, way so much.

And what do people say, " there are no raids so no end game" ^^ al the people that say that don’t know gw, don’t now the way arenanet works and have to go play WOW.

The end game is right in front of them, but they just don’t see it.
I just wanne say gw is a good alternative, unique, special game.
Just look further than what you know as your typical mmo, gw is more than a copy and it will never be.

I tryed al classes at least to lvl 20, but i can’t decide witch second class to get to lvl 80.
I know warrior is nice, but to mutch the same as zerker guardian.
Engineer is fun to but the turets placing and picking up every time is a bit less for me.
As playstile normaly ranger from gw1, but gw to is so different i want something different, something new for me.

Mostly i do pve, sometimes wvw and with the new pvp upgrades i want to start pvp.
As for melee and range, i want range beceause of the difference is bigger from my guardian.

And i tryed mesmer to and i know it is harder to lvl, maybe with the new patch it isn’t that hard anymore but that i have to try.
But i will go for now with my ele, as long as i like it and for know i like it very mutch

I started an ele and I really like it so I think this going to be my second lvl 80.
I have all the weapon skills, I only need to test the other skills and traits at lvl 30 so I hope I enjoy the rest of the lvling

that would’t definitly be easier, but i think it would’t be to easy.
So i don’t think they will do it.

But a few days ago i saw something that would’t realy be better.
Your inventory bags, as you buy new ones from the geme store you get them only on the char that you are logged in as you buy it.
so maybe make that account bount, would’t be much better.

As you want the skin, it is worth it, and as you like to have the most stats it is.
But it is not so much difference, so you need to know or you want to do the effort to make it.

My playstile with guardian was first support, i realy like to help people but beceause of the zerker stuff, it doesn’t do allot anymore, so i play zerker with guardian for now.
But i realy like to play different stuff, like as example: guardian condition burner, i like to be the autcast that has something different but still is very good.
I know it is hard in gw2 to do that, in gw1 i always makes my own special builds that was not usual, but at the other hand really powerfull.

so witch class is best at being different and a variation of play style ?

Hi all, i have a guardian as my main char from the start of gw2.
In gw1 i always was a ranger, but ranger is so mutch different in gw2 that i don’t liked it to started with.
So now I want a new char as alt, i already have a ranger, mesmer, warrior, necromanser, thief and engineer all around lvl 25, but i don’t now witch to lvl to 80.
Elemantalist i don’t have.
So what do you guys think i have to do ?

So they have added a chat function for language, this must be helping the language racism.
So does this makes the mega server a lot better, or do you guys still think there is so Mitch bad ?
Till now I didn’t see anything bad for me, only more fun in lvling

I think you are wright, gw1 was much more challenging, and that’s wat i liked about it.
here is not so much fun, bosses you just have to stay with them and it dousn’t matter what skills you use, you kill him.

As for gw 1 you had to change builds, take the right skills for the right content or your party will wipe.
So i will like it as they bring more challenge and more thinking to the game.
Like bosses that you have to do something before you can hit them, bosses that kill you mutch faster, that you have to look out that you don’t get hit or it is a wipe.

I know what you mean and i realy would like more challenge like gw1 had

How much money is A-Net paying you to support the megaserver the way it is, and wanting it to expand?

Are you a US player, by any chance? Cause if you are, then you’re probably oblivious on what’s going on in EU servers. So take your time and visit one, and see if you’ll be able to enjoy the game as you say… Unless of course you speak English, Spanish, German, French, Greek, and every other language the chat is getting these days. And i bet you don’t RP at all, or even not sure what that is.

And no, turning zone chat off won’t save the situation.

So to answer YOUR question, the reason we still “play” and bother to comment here, is cause we like the game. We like the new changes, i have no issue with the new leveling system, i have no issue with the changes. Heck, i adore the new wardrobe. However, the megaserver needs work. It’s in early alpha stages, and it should’ve stayed contained in a few areas, until ready for full deployment.

I like seeing more players in one area. MORE players, not zerg. And of course, not Zerg who assault me for either speaking English, or RPlaying.

So instead of praising them for giving us something broken, join our voices and help us push them to fix it, so it can work properly.

I am an eu player, and i don’t speak the language you speak of as mother language.
And no i don’t play RP but i know what it is and i don’t have anything against players who do it.
I think it is nice that you do it.
And i don’t know why they assualt you for speaking english, i have no prob with it.

And i understand that you want it to be better, everything can always be better, but sometimes it’s good to say good things, i liked my experience till now with the megaserver so that is wat i said.

i havend seen anything bad for me with the megaserver so why would’t i say what is bad about it, as i have nothing bad to say. (till now)

There is only one thing to say, just lvl and enjoy the game, as long as you don’t die every 2 sec it doesn’t matter or you have traits or not, as long as the lvling is fun, and with the mega server it is.
More players, bigger scaling of events, less dying, so more fun

Lvling without traits isn’t fun.

Agreed. That’s what I meant about the “trait situation.” I hate that Anet feels the trait progression was too advanced for apparently stupid players and had to push everything back 20 levels. I lost access to my GM traits on my most recent alt. And my buddy who’s new to the game lost access to ALL of his traits for another half dozen levels. So much for him getting the hang of experimenting with traits.

I know that you are right about that, but when megaserver is over the whole game, you can do everything with more players, so more players, less hard to do.
So without traids wouldn’t be that bad.

There is more fun than lvling in the game, but i think that is the best improvement till now.

We just have to wait till the Megaserver is over the whole game, than the rest of the game will be more fun to, and boss events to
Maybe they can make the bosses more like tequatle.
More skills to kill them, instead of mindless attacking.

Dungeons i like already, maybe a little bit of variety in dungeons.

About the classes after the update i can’t say yet.

but i have faith in arenanet, i know they won’t disappoint us, but we need a lot of patience, i know :p

I never started a post here, but this time i feel like i want to say this.

The Megaserver, the dye system, the wardrobe, all these new things make it so mutch more fun to play.
You can do events with more people, no more dead zones, your character looks nice when you start it.

Before all this, you had colors that you don’t like, you was all alone in the world :p
I realy like to lvl a new character now

I just want to say that, i like the new updates.
Oke i now that there are some things that couldt be don beter, but that i don’t mind, the outfits seperated and mixing was more fun.
But i like it that you can where theme in battle
and the boss timers is something to get used to, but i think that’s not a prob.

But overall the most of the update is very nice.
So i wanne says well done arenanet

1 thing people, the tengu are defending there wall at all costs.
Thats normal after such an attack.
So we don’t know or they are going to help or not yet.
But what we know is that we are now at a point in the living story that calls " the escape from lions arch"
So the next patch will be the atack on scarlet, taking back LA, or what is under lions arch will come up.
Only than we will know or the tengu is going to help or not.

I know there comes a day that the tengu will be playable, that they will be our allies.
But will it be now or not, we will see in the next patch.
