Hey all!
After being gone awhile, a small group of us are looking for an active guild on SoR that does a bit of everything (daily, pvp, pve, raids, guild events, etc) along with some regular WvW. A few of us are new, a few of us go back to GW1. A couple of us play with our kids.
So we’re looking for a good fit for all of us

We’re a 400+ member guild with a pretty wide age span. College students, moms, dads, husbands/wives, extended family, we have it all. We use a 100 slot ventrilo for voice chat, webiste/forums, YouTube channel http://www.youtube.com/rethesis and fun guild events too!

So there’s the basics.. here’s who we are as a guild… A big group of pretty easy going people with a very well known presence in WvW. Our Guild Leader Ethersin is a top Commander. Our vent is public for anyone that is in WvW or other areas of the game with us. We do our best to work with other Commanders and guilds. We do have a couple friendly rivalries going as well. We have to have that goofy fun too!

When it comes down to it, we are serious and want to get things done, but we can laugh at ourselves too. We’ve done some pretty funny stuff in WvW, FotM, and other areas of the game.

Even though one of our main focuses is WvW, we also are busy running dungeons, exploring, mapping, farming, helping each other, crafting and having fun while doing it. We share our knowledge with each other and have some truly BRILLIANT people!

I know you mentioned a guild on NSP, but sometimes we need to move to find the right place. I had to jump through a few guilds to find the right one myself. I was looking for the big happy family type of guild as well.

One of our other Commanders is known for coordinating 1v1 or “Fight Club” in WvW with opposing servers! Poor guy goes on a suicide run to make contact with them! We’ve had a lot of fun on the WvW maps doing that with other servers.

We even have a couple of those special someones that can drive us crazy on vent, but we love them anyway, lol.

I sent you a quick in game mail. I’m from Rethesis, on Darkhaven. We are mainly a WvW guild but do a little of everything else too! My son plays with me and he joins right in for WvW, dungeons and PvE.
Because of his age, I don’t let him on vent Not sure how old your nephew is.

We run WvW daily. Have 100 slot vent, site/forums, youtube channel and guild events. We welcome active, friendly, easy going players no matter the experience.

We are a small group of former organized PvP’ers (Core Heroes’ Ascent) & PvE’ers from GW1 looking for more people to do PvE, PvP and WvW with. We have a few WoW players with us now.

We are a family friendly group of players that have been together for the last several years. We love randomness, being helpful, being talkative, fun and getting to know the other people we play with. We’re a pretty laid back group of people, but we can take things a little more serious when we want to accomplish something. We don’t do attitudes problems, whining, begging, handouts, raging, head cases, being rude or disrespectful.

We have Vent and a new guild site:

We run one of the dungeons 2 to 3 times per week depending on what everyone has going on. Kids, bedtime, homework, work, etc..

Several guild upgrades are done. More are in the process.

Our guild has a “Leadership Group.” Not a single Guild Leader.
Why is that? Well let’s face it.. not everyone is good at eveything, and we have lives too!
So we share in the “Leadership” role. We don’t do power trips either.

New members will join as Recruits (“At The Bus Stop”) and will be moved up to Member (“Bus Rider”) if it’s a good fit for everyone. Had to have a little fun with the ranks :P
