Getting a little annoyed with this banner… it tells me that it “revives fallen allies” well there’s a point in which it only partially revives them. For instance someone in a near to defeated situation with poison on them, will not be fully resurrected. This is a major issue when it comes to reviving allies in WvW. standing still for 2 seconds to drop my banner while a zerg 4 times our size is pushing through us, only to see that my ally was not fully revived, is depressing. It just annoys me that it tells me it revives them, but it doesn’t take into account that there is a chance it won’t. Now I can understand it being a “partially revives” kind of like “toss elixir R” which pulses a revive of 17% per pulse. However for dailies, a revive is considered fully resurrecting an ally. Therefore when it tells me it “revives” I should not be seeing my ally going from 5%-90% only then to be melted by the passing zerg. Either the description needs to fully match what it does, or the effect needs to be changed.

Eotm unfair

Eotm is a great place if i want to ktrain, get badges, or level an uplevel. However the way the servers are set up is completely unfair. Putting all the leading servers in green, mid in blue, and the lacking in red. The outcome is horrible. If your green, your always going to have a fun time in eotm, same if you are blue, but for red you literally are nothing but some scrub in a matchup that people use for ppt. Eotm should be randomized, this is completely unfair that red side almost 90% of the time is sitting around with only 10 people while FR and OG have 50 man zergs.

Upgrades not finishing

sitting at garri with 2 upgrades waiting to be completed, both are at 99% and there is 500 supply in the keep. Too bad the worker isn’t moving and nothing has changed for 30 minutes, all the yaks coming in are basically useless

If what your saying is to increase the cap on condi’s/no cap at all….its not going to happen (i hope)

say you’re in a zerg, going into SM lord room, at the same time so is the other server defending it. You get to the lord and your zerg autos the hell out of it. Chances are it has 25 stacks of bleed now. Now if there was no cap….this would be way more than 25 stacks and 1 simple epidemic would kill anyone it affected. caps are needed condition damage is overpowered for armor and boons will not help you. there is just not enough condition removal.

Ok so i made this post in general discussion…but now i realized its better to put it in here

“Does the rune of the ranger effect a necromancer using minions?”

everything i find tells me random stuff and goes through what is a companion….but not as a fact. Instead it says they were tested using steady weapons, well many variables take place when it comes to dealing damage.

Also a couple of things explained how they noticed a difference in pvp and pve but not wvw (wierd) all these things are extremely unreliable for the date they were posted was sooo long ago that patches could have changed it, and no updates have been made since.

Please answer honestly and with some information to help back up your claim.

They do, I tested it in HotM and it works with literally every summon, even minipets.

While I would love to believe this 100% means that it works….i can’t, yet. From some of the information i found people tried it ou in pvp and pve and noticed a difference, but when in wvw (which is where i plan to use it) they haven’t noticed anything. So i believe you that it works there and that should mean it works in wvw. Either way i’ll wait a little longer to see what other answers i can get.

It would be nice to get some Anet feedback on this because the wiki page links to a definition of “companion” which is obviously not appropriate in that context. And the discussion page really doesn’t have any thing definitive.

yeah most things i see are people testing the rune to see if it effects. It would be extremely nice if the runes description could be changed or more descriptive like the rune of the engineer.

no, because minions and companions aren’t the same category

are you sure? I’ve heard that the elementalist’s elementals effect it.

been having lots of issues with our guild being on different mega-servers during bounties, sometimes porting them in with a party takes to long and the bounty either fails or we lose a large amount of time and may not be able to finish.

..and how do you feel about using ambients with Cloak and Dagger to go into stealth?

i have never used that before….sounds like it should be removed and same with c and d’ing of a supply depot, if it doesnt seem like it should be removed, then ambients need to give buffs and stop being bi-polar where they do some things but not all things

I fail to see how this is an issue.

the only reason this is an issue is because ambients do not give any buffs like stacks for a weapon so why should they reveal someone from stealth, especially if the person is trying to run you are more focused on getting away not “ooh hey look a rabbit” its just there and it’s annoying a nice change to it revealing you would be nice to get rid of.

All I can say is, learn to position yourself better in that case. Considering all the things that should cause revealed but don’t, I wouldn’t say the ambient thing is unfair. Besides, they aren’t too hard to spot. Especially if you are running away.

well umm when i am running away i’m more concerned about not dying and how far away they are…..also about positioning it doesnt matter in this situation ambients are just annoying

umm wrong, if an ambient is at the end of my heartseeker…… then auto target doesnt mean anything, btw i dont use auto target and it happens soooo

while ambients are really just there and don’t do anything at all, they are a problem. The problem is in WvW. Say your a thief, you pop stealth and try to get out of combat or you go d/p and 5 into 2 well while your first heartseeker hit may hit an ambient it wont reveal you, say your a little twitchy and double heartseeker cause a zerg is chasing you….then you hit an ambient and revealed comes up. This is a little ridiculous but really just annoying. If an ambient does not give me my on kill buffs, it should not reveal me. Its nothing but a peace of scenery or “pve” type thing. I’m ok with pve things being in wvw, it really makes it nice, but having something that doesnt give me any buffs make me revealed, is really messing things up.

Do zealot trinkets even exist? I’ve checked the recipes on the TP but didnt find anything, so then I went to the ascended laurel vendors and still didn’t find anything. Just wondering so i know I’m not blind.

well, im scepter focus full exotics, and yes i understand fury, but this is all on paper. Sure perma protection looks nice on paper until someone bursts you. then lets not forget to mention how annoying other classes are with there blocks, and that an initial attack can be wasted and set to cool down. I’ll try 0 10 0 30 30; however the point im trying to make is that 0 10 0 30 30 is horrible since its the only thing worth running

The elementalist in my opinion, is one of the weakest classes in the game. here why i think that.

0 10 0 30 30: only viable ele build if you want to stay alive

Support: great amount of support…yet wheres my damage??? People like to roam too ya know?

Full zerker: only way to actually deal damage on an ele is to be full zerker, other than that if using d/d fire grab is the only thing to get enough

other classes being op: well with ele having no condi removal if not running 0 10 0 30 30 and with condi being true meta, we are kinda forced to wear valkyrie or soldiers for vitality

In comparison: sure on paper 3.5k power with 96% crit dmg and 40% crit chance looks nice…until a warrior comes and bursts you down, as well as a thief, and a necro…when you have 2.5 armor after using earth skills and protection

Stats on other classes: if other classes are to have such an advantage over others, why is it im always stuck with missing stats where as someone like a guardian can pull out 3k power 3k armor 83% crit damage with 25% crit chance plus 20% with fury, healing from utilities, 2-4 invulns and 17k hp

Ele needs buff this 0 10 0 30 30 needs to end, anything else is just to squishy and doesnt work properly compared to whats meta.

Question to the developers.

Its not more skills the ele needs…imo ele needs a buff entirely, we are forced to run 0 10 0 30 30 if we want any condi removal at all, but then the damage is horrible and we need to run zerkers gear. while other classes can run around with 19k hp base and never have to worry about that stat so there build can be focused on other important things rather than getting idk 900 points of vitality

Yeah condis are a big issue, i think that if they could add something to condi removal skills to do something like that for 1 seconds, would be nice. However i thnk if they added more boons to the game to help with condis. There are boons that deal with protection against straight up damage and immunity to certain attacks mostly caused by direct damage, but it seems the only boon to help with conditions, is regeneration which doesnt heal enough even when you are traited for it, if the enemy is destroying you with condis it means they have more than 1 so they probably have poison too. I like your idea but i think boons would be a better way to solve it.

Well your full zerker and have no source of protection as well as nothing to help you on attunement swap. I do admit that some things of a thief need a bit of a nerf; however such a thing may never be, and that is okay because a thief can be killed in just a couple hits with some AoE bursts
