I think GearScore would only add to toxic mindsets and behavior. Making it so that nobody will let me in their lvl 45 exp Dungeon group unless I’m 80 with full ascended berserker.

I’m glad this is a thread. I wouldn’t mind if people were putting “Experienced only please” in their descriptions, but I just got kicked for having the gall to join with a non 80 Guardian into a dungeon I was overleveled for. I know the dungeon, have done it plenty of times on multiple characters, and meet the requirements. But when I joined (Mind you the descriptions just said “Path 1”) the leader said, “Lol, 66?” and then kicked me. I had a hard time joining another dungeon anywhere because they all had “80 Zerker only War” in the descriptions. This sort of player-gating is getting rediculous. I run fractals a bit and have had less trouble with non-80’s than I’ve had with 80’s most of the time. One person said to me, “You’d understand if you played GW2 enough.”

WTF? I’ve been playing since GW1 BETA! That’s not enough? I’ve run successful and fast pugs through AC with all 50’s. Meanwhile every time I have an issue where my pug is stuck, they’re all opinionated 80’s who blame each other. Something needs to be done about this.

The title says it all, when I get downed, and try to fear people, most of the time it has no effect at all, and when that happens, I check the other player’s boons and they aren’t even protected from it in any way.

So in Guild Wars, players could purchase costumes and other content and get everlasting access to said content. If I didn’t feel like keeping something with me, I could destroy/trash it and get it from a vendor when I did (for example the costume vendors).

In Guild Wars II, I buy armor skins and town clothes, neither of which is added to my Hall of monuments or are available anywhere else outside of purchasing them again. If I accidentally delete or improperly transmute my armor, it’s gone forever and I’ll have to buy a new skin set.

There is ABSOLUTELY no way to abuse these skins. They carry no stats, and are in no way advantageous. Yet, we only get access to them once?

Why?

Are there at least any plans to modify this system?

As of right now, my Profane set takes up slots in my bank as well as my witch’s_hat and my ArenaNet Baseball Caps.

I bought a second Bank slot, and plan to purchase more, but I would still LOVE to have the outfit skins stored at the Hall of Monuments or in a endless collection window where I can get a spare set whenever I need one.

I like the pumpkin carving.

Now the only things missing are:

A) – The option to raise/lower the camera (similar to the left/right shift, but I think that the height it’s at now should be the lowest and then the highest should be a bit above the head).

B) – Object occlusion. (when the player walks in front of a small see-through fence, the camera Should NOT zoom in. Rather, it should stay in place and occlude the object allowing you to see your character or a shadow of your character).

An idea, maybe is to have the green outline appear around your character when part of their body is obstructed from view. By part, maybe around 25% or so.

Kind of like in MOBAs such as LoL, or DoTA 2, where your character goes behind something like a tower and their outline is there (I think those games do that, haven’t played in forever).

The Horizontal and Vertical FoV affect the same Fov, each works with different numbers, though. so you ARE changing the Horizontal… Hard to explain.

I work fulltime and my hours are from 11AM-9PM Est on the 27th and 12AM-9PM Est on the 28th.

Add to this the fact that I live in Maryland where there is talk of a possible hurricane this weekend.

I’ve been having so much fun in GW2 this Halloween and anticipate having just as much fun during the Christmas Events.

I’ve paid for the Witch’s Costume, and the Awesome looking hood.
I’ve done the scavenging missions and have attained Both of the Mad Memories back items. (They’re amazing!)

My question is this:

Will there be an alternative way for people such as myself(working or otherwise) to attend the party? How long will the party last?

I really hope I don’t have to ask someone else to log into my account to get it for me. I’m pretty sure most of my friends who I trust are also working that day. Not to mention that others may not have that option.

Please ArenaNet, let us know what we can do. A schedule would be nice and maybe an alternative.

I’d gladly pay for whatever the event reward is.
