Tournament Latin America(LATAM) which began in 2015 on the initiative of competitive players in Brazil, in order to unify and encourage Latin American teams to grow and compete and increasingly higher levels with the international scene, wine promote competition in our region.

First of all, I understand the current rules of ESL which express totally exclusion of South america players, that has a HUGE community on this game, including Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Argentina, etc, who also is a great potential for expansion in the market Guild Wars 2 and Guild Wars 2 Hearth of Thorns. Arena Net did a BIG step forward allowing this game F2P, that means NEW PLAYERS across the world into the game aiming “test the game and opine yourself”.

There are large dealers companies such as Level Up Games Brazil, selling Guild Wars 1 and 2 (the original game) which is also a distributor and organizer of events of other big names such as Smite, Crossfire. Other companies highly reputed in South American eSport are Blizzard (Hearthstone, Heroes Of The Storm) and VALVE (CS: GO), and other games like DOTA, Starcraft, World Of Tanks, FIFA 15, etc.

As the ESL organizers and Staffs own may know, many games are integrated as America (South America, North America, Central America, excluding Cuba because of restricted laws).

I see no visible barrier to exclude South American Go4Gw2 of tournaments, since the Guild Wars 2 is a game OPEN, FREE and HANDY the WORLDWIDE.

There are SEVERAL teams looking for eSports in GW2 to make it really competitive, and this could attract even more (eg the recent sponsorship of Team Pozi – Celerius eSports).

What are the procedures necessary for that possible inclusion?

Ill check with the higher admins on this, I am following the rules listed on our site at the moment, which requires teams to be 3/5 from the region the tournament is being hosted in. In regards to the Americans playing on EU events, that is at the discretion of the EU admin squad, of which I am not a part of, which is why i did not comment on it.

Good evening GW2 Players and Devs,
I’m here representing the whole south america pvp players to show our indignation and try to include our region in the “world” tournament series.

I believe that the goal of ArenaNet would stimulate competition among regions around the world , so why not add our region , as we have a large community of pvp and teams capable of playing this tournament surely as Sinergia and Orgulho do Brasil as exemples.
this month, on April 18 I organized tournament with a Brazilian and 2 Chileans, we had the presence of 13 times and had the support of the Academy Gaming ( replay at Storm twitch channel ) , with high- level struggles , competitive and very intense.
if the problem is spending on travel , allright. Make it clear in a rule that costs of other regions is on behalf of each participant , this is a sujestion that I have. I would like to know the opinion of the Devs mainly, tournament organizers and players as well.

What teams and tournaments have you played in?: tournaments: ToL1 qualifiers, a lot of 2v2s mistpedia (won 2 1st place, 1 2nd place), 5v5 Mistpedia w/ pugs (got 2nd place), Academy Gaming weeklys, Pugquest 1# (1st place). Played with old Arkangels, AE Sinergia. @off: Also I had a lot of GvG experience with top tier EU and NA guilds as RG, ZDs, APeX, Fight As One, Good Clean.

I’m Nicked (the another one), and I play engi for recently formed team Ultimate Legion. UL has 2 teams playing in e-sports scene across Smite and LoL and are top teams in Brazil and looking to be top internacional team, also UL formed 3 players of CNB Sports Team in LoL that is Rank 2. Now, we’re forming up a team to play AG tournaments and ESL for future here in GW2!

-We have in-game requirements: must be rank 80, 3k+ games played and we’re priorizing enginner/warriors/necromancer main classes.
-We are looking for an experienced spvp player that knows how conquest works (example: knows how to rotate, team fight, communication, etc.).
-We require people to have: a working mic, dedication, Teamspeak, 18+ age, great attitude, etc…. (what most teams require anyway)
-The tryouts will work as such: We will pick you up, and start off with dueling, then we will test how well you can hold a point, and other roles that we need you to have mastered, after that we will start team qing and test out communication. It will all end with us giving feedback.
-If we think you fit our standards and play with us well, then expect an invitation to UL
team!

What about Irishman with distant relatives that fought for Mexico, during the Mexican-American war? Could they have a shot if provided with an Ancestry.com family tree report?

I thought someone might say that. My argument even though distant, is that part of Mexico was once part of Central America and therefore oddly related to my ancestor. This part of Mexico is called Chiapas.

So in reality my ancestor was fighting for a portion of a country, that a mere 20 years earlier was part of Central America. Our ancestors bled over the same land, is what I am saying. That practically makes us blood brothers.

Finally we enter into esports at gw2! We’re a friend community that played together for like 4 years in gw2 and another games, our roster is composed of experienced people in each of your classes with about 5k games played.
