Hey guys, just wanted to tell you all that I finally got my account restored. I guess it just takes time, so try to be patient ( I know it’s hard). It took roughly 3days + to get it back and I received an e-mail that my account was ok to use. Good luck to you guys!

My account just got restored, however even though asking why they changed it from being banned for botting to getting hacked with no evidence of my account being hacked I got no response. I guess what ever it takes to cover their tracks over a false banning. :l
Happy to be able to play again though I guess. Still a tad miffed over it though.
Well, congrats on the restore. I’m just glad to read the forums and see some people having some positive feedback. I’m sure Gaile and the team are doing all they can to solve this issue. Have fun in game!

3 days passed after ticket, still banned – not the only one I see.
Germans forums are quiet, so i joined this thread just to keep my hope alive sigh

I’m with you man. I don’t know how much longer I can take this patiently. I miss the game, my friends, and playing with my gf. I also want to see this amazing event they have planned. I loved the Halloween event, and the challenge of the clock tower. I wish I could experience this game more. =[
The best advice is to have patience. Ticket queue runs from 24-48 hours so plan on some other activities to occupy your mind at the same time would make waiting easier.
Unfortunately some tickets are past 48 hours. Mine is going on 72+ However, patience is the only thing you can have right to help with this situation.

Ok, so this is the third day of being banned for me. I’m trying to be patient, but I have yet to receive even a single response or status change on my ticket. At the very least after being banned, while being innocent, they could review my ticket or let me know they have already with an e-mail that they’re in the process of it. =[
Squall it took me slightly more than 3 days for a response. I had to fill some information, and my login status changed.
They are still recovering my account, but at least i don’t see the message of permanent banned for botting anymore, which scared the crap out of me.
Thanks. I’m trying to stay positive… I just want to see some change at all.

Hi guys just want to say they are working on accounts today and not to give up on hope. I’m not restored yet but when I tried to log in again it changed from banned for botting, to your account may be accessed by an unauthorized individual. I haven’t received any response via email or by the ticket system, that is the only change for me for the past 4 days. Just wanted everyone not to give up hope and think of this as a learning experience on both the players and anet’s side. Things will go wrong all the time guys, just gotta stick through it. I was hacked on the PSN network and had all my info stolen and even my CC charged leaving my bank to 0. As much as Playstation has gotten blamed, In reality, it’s all the hackers fault that bring distress to the game. If you want to blame someone, then vent all that hate into the botters that caused all of this in the first place. Dont blame our support team. they are working hard trying to please everyone one person at a time.

Is there anyway to delete the other ones so that I wont have to wait as long? I wish I found this forum first, but I saw submitting a ticket first.

Well, first, thanks but this is my work day, so I’m just doing what I do. Kind thoughts are appreciated, though.
Secondly, you can close out any ticket that you created. If you open the ticket in the Support interface, you can close it yourself and keep the first ticket open. Now, if you have new info, you can add it to your first ticket and the agents will see that as they review the case.[/quote]

- If your account was terminated for Botting or for Fraud, please submit a ticket. Go here and file a ticket through the “Ask a Question” tab on that linked page.
- For tips on what information to provide in a ticket, please read this post.
- If you find you still need help after three days, feel free to post in the Tickets for Review thread, which is at the top of this Account Support sub-forum.
This isn’t a sub-forum for discussion, so please keep this topic-based, providing information on the incident but keeping the chatter to a minimum so we can focus on helping you.
What if we already filed a ticket. Should we put in another one as well? Or is that post for all the new people coming here who haven’t filed a ticket?

Wow, so I got hit by the banhammer as well…
For botting apparently…
I just hope I’ll get my account back before the 15th…If I don’t have my account back before the 15th, I’ll scream.
If I don’t get my account by the 15th I’m out. No joke, if I am not back in the game like I should be, since I have done nothing wrong, then its time to look for something else. I would be too pissed that I lost out on the Lost Shore update to continue.
Oh man. I hope I can get back by the 15th! My girl and I are already looking into other games to play if this doesn’t work out. However, I like this game so much and put so much hours into it. It’ll be a shame to leave it..especially being a fan of GW1 as well.

I am still waiting on my ticket to be responded to… I wanted to know if anyone who was banned on Saturday has received a response yet and if Arena Net owning up to any of this disaster?
It is impossible that you have a non-automated system (ie, a manual system) that is banning thousands of legit players. No matter what you say there is no way you have an employee who is sitting there and literally reviewing people’s accounts for botting / cheating/ etc and banning them anyways when all evidence points to no.
This leaves two options:
1) You DO have an automated system.
2) You have an employee or employees who is/are banning people for no reason.Either way, you are in a terrible position. I can’t imagine any customer service or IT department getting away with this in ANY other business setting.
What are we supposed to do? Just accept that you terminated our account access without any reason and ‘deal with it’? How is that fair?
Hey, I was banned saturday and still have no response. However, I’m still a bit hopefully that maybe I will get some kind of response tonight. I’m not too sure though. 11/10 official date on my banning.

I was banned on saturday for botting. I was just farming some karma by the tar even at R&D waypoint and was heading over to Broodmother when I got kicked off and then banned for botting. It happened roughly after 12 o’clock.

I hope the rest of you get your accounts back soon!
Congrats to you my friend. Hopefully we can join you on that soon! However, the thought is pretty scary to even leave Lions Arch. In all honesty, in the hope that I do get my account restored.. I will probably just run dungeons with my gf.

48 hours and still counting. Only a bot response from them. They do care….
Also 2 days for me and not even a bot response so far, guess I’ll be posting in the other thread tomorrow.
Aye, I’m with you on that my friend. Unfortunately I feel that I might not receive a response today. However, I hope that we’re both wrong and receive one. I do believe they are working as fast as they can, but I wish that this process was a lot faster. I feel that they could of at least done some kind of process before booting me and marking me as a bot. I can answer any questions they would need in order to prove that I was playing during that time. Maybe next time they will have an admin question you before a kick. Best luck to us both. =[

Day 2 of being banned. I was banned on the 10th of this month at around 12 PM. I still haven’t heard anything from anyone. I hope that this matter is resolved as quickly as possible. 121110-002031 is my ticket number that I updated with even more information to help with the process. Just wanted to share my very recent experienced. Around 12 pm my game just stopped working and when I tried to re log I apparently was banned for botting. I’ve never owned an illegal program..nor do I even know how to use one! I submitted a ticket.. or 3. Still waiting on a response… sigh I guess I can’t farm events in Orr anymore! Which is basically the only place to really farm good karma.
